I have to say I'm disappointed in the color-blocking choices for certain recent items, not because they look bad, but because the "original" versions get the simpler, less interesting variations. I guess they're trying to discourage us from recoloring them. (Not to mention the lack of fantasy skintones in the leg mods). :: stares at White Moth and Empress of Dragons in particular. ::
Don't get me wrong - I love both these items, but I'm doubting I'll ever get to use them.

I can agree to that. When I initially saw that Elder Empress was basically a color reverse of the standard one, I thought, surely this means that one of them has fantasy legs!

Nope. :[ my sympathies, fantasy user.

That's gotta be the planned midmonth release next month.

Quite possible. I jsut hope they do a black tail + black scales one.

(and tbh if there's a vervain one I would actually Care about it.

That would be a cool one to have.

I mostly care about the black tail + scales because the eneral placement is an extremely close ringer for the au ra from FFXIV, which is my favorite playable race by. a longshot. But the options for the au ra subraces are the all-white Raen or all-black Xaela, and [shakes fist]

I played Lucky Catch four times and got two items that I quickly sold for 75 billion, a Maritime Odyssey, and then an Eye See U. I think that was worth it and I've done enough gambling for the rest of this month. So happy I finally got something kind rare from a random item thing. crying

I should have bought the items I wanted from the Lucky Catch yesterday, I missed a Noble Empress of Dragons for 35b but thought I'd wait for it to deflate again since there were several listings around the 40s, how do you guys manage to inflate everything so fast? Have some self control and think before buying stuff, dang it! emotion_0A0

I rather like some of the items, though seeing as I didn't get a single match in 3000 GC I feel like either I'm -extremely- unlucky, or the odds have gotten much worse.

Edit: Make that not a single match in 4800 GC.
I miss the good items coming out in the shops instead of... this.

I really like Hive Mind, but it doesn't use the human c skin tone. eek gonk
Apokalypsis has some great hair and I like the new eyes as well.
Verdant Armageddon has a beautiful background and a cute hair cut to boot.
The moon in Mitenala is simply beautiful.
Lobster is so tasty... emotion_drool Briny Avocation makes me so happy.
Maritime Odyssey has some lovely short hair. I really like the red in this item and the Briny item. I hope we see more of this color scheme.
Owlpothecary has some cute chubby arms and legs. biggrin
Eye See U is a fun item. The object head poses are a delight, and the new eyes are so cool!
The new body mod in Empress of Dragons is very nice and those dragons are killer!
Phantom Limbs's ghost legs are something I can see myself using a lot for haunting avatars.

I'm a little like...why...(?) with some of the Lucky Catch items. I managed to get my favorite item from it, so that's cool. But otherwise I'm still not fond of the Lucky Catch as a whole.
