And I would have gladly bought that Creme L'arc-en-ciel on it's own, but no, it had to be in a bundle of items I already have.

That Keiko bundle price is ridiculous.

It's 1999, the same price as the 5 pack. I don't see a problem. surprised . You get five plus the keiko.

The price of the 5 pack is cray-cray too.

The price of that item is generally cray.

I also addressed this too.

Methinks the price is based on the original rei prices. They were 499 and recolor releases when they were sold in a bundle or individually were 499 so the price isn't too much of a stretch. We're just used to rigs costing 299 or less for singles and bundles being no more than 1499.

And aside from that these are complete recolors not just select poses recolors.

I think irritated is beyond what I am feeling, and like I said, I generally don't give a damn about things. Yeah you are right in that regard.

Maybe it's petty of me, but I am a bit annoyed that an item referencing Baby, the Stars Shine Bright does not actually look like it could have come from the BTSSB shop. Salopettes with shorts are very occasionally an Angelic Pretty item, more often a Putumayo item and usually a Bodyline item. BTSSB isn't really big on casual clothes, they just don't do them.

I kind of felt that way about the item too. I mean, I'm no lolita expert (I don't even dress in it, I just admire and casually follow the fashion style), but it didn't really seem BTSSB to me. I kind of wish they replicated a print and had a matching JSK, stockings, and bow. That would have been cute and would have satisfied the Gaians who want actual lolita (since Gaia doesn't really bomb us with legitimate lolita, just girly frilly stuff that people dismiss as lolita).

You've got a good eye for someone who doesn't wear lolita! I followed the fashion for years until I started buying brand and I wasn't really aware of the differences between the brands within the substyles till I started noticing that I usually buy AP and thought about why. Replicating a print exactly could be copyright infringement (plus Baby prints are so busy that they don't shrink down too well), but they could've done Shirring Princess or Millefeuille which are basically recognisable by the placement of the lace and ruffles.

And it wouldn't have been so much different from what they did, just a little more lace and a skirt instead of pants.

What really ticks me off about "lolita" on Gaia is that the blouses won't layer under the JSKs. WTFever smile

2 out of 5 items in my Rainbow items were Paw stuff. I wish they'd just do Paw and human versions of everything so you could only get stuff you could use. Or better, put Paw and human poses in each item. I would never use Paw stuff unless they changed the body shape to be more animal and 8000% less teddy bear, but other people would enjoy being able to use their items with any base.

I just think 499/1999/3499 is a lot to pay when you don't know what you're going to get. Period. I'm not saying you didn't address the issue, I'm saying that's a lot to pay when you don't know what you are getting. And honestly, I'd be fine with 1999 or even 2499 bundles, but I don't think bundles of 10 chance items should be more than 2500.

But I'll take it over Tendit ad Astra. I got some of those in the Chance Pass but I would never have knowingly bought chance items that expect you to pay MORE after you open them.

JFC Gaia really doesn't understand that Otome and Lolita are two different fashions, for that matter neither does most of SF/GCD.
Like at this point I could settle for some Tartan Prints or some decent headbows (without the deco stickers of course) emo

Yes but I would prefer something not as similar to Trifle as Delight is to Chiffon. Plus grey is a nasty colour for FOOD. Is there anything good to eat that is grey? Green would have been ideal, and I say that as a person who absolutely loves pink and tends to dress her aviation in pastels because that's my thing--it's St Patrick's day and green and brown would be delicious mint and chocolate.

I personally would like to see a grey and yellow combo, you don't have to like the same things I do.

No, we don't have to like the same things, but I am noticing that those items are yellow food items with silver non-food decorations. I still can't think of a food that is grey when it hasn't gone off, that's all. I like pink and hate yellow but I am not saying that there shouldn't be yellow items, because I know we don't all like the same things. I just...don't see a food based item being very popular in grey, kind of like the grey and pink is not popular either.

Yeah but there are RHS in the gold shops. *shrug* (I'm not a huge fan of RHS because my ankles suck, but they look cute on other folks...) Otome and lolita are different fashions but they're related fashions. I don't think Gaia knows the difference between lolita, fairy-kei and decora. Star Baby Jam is in a weird place between lolita and fairy-kei.

I would love a tartan jsk for Gaia. I have 3 tartan dresses and I love them sfm.

That Creme L'arc En Ciel is the first of the series I've really liked. The leg pose is great (rainbow tights!) and the dress looks amazing. Because it's Princess Peach inspired it reminds me of Rainbow Road too.

Now I'm really tempted to get it @w@

I also do like the gray/pink Keiko's Cake, but it's not really worth $20 to me. Even if it does come with some RIGs. I really like that color scheme but most of the things that have been designed with it that I really like are not worth the cash I'd be required to spit out for them.

*Incoherent screaming* Seriously, it was lucky that there wasn't anyone else in the house today when I looked at the update thread. I actually yelled with excitement. The Rainbow Brilliance and Creme L'arc-en-ciel (is this good French? I never really got past 'Pierre dans la piscine.' but it feels a bit awkward to me) are too lovely for words. Of course, one is the super duper mega rare RIG victory and the other is in a bundle with items which I already own, including multiples of the items I'd like to wear multiples of, so it looks like I'll be saving for a long time. I'm glad Gaia has cottoned on that some of us love rainbow items, but I do think it would be nice to have them a bit more accessible.
