It can be really rough when you first get out there, especially when you've never done the work before and people seem to breathe down your neck. D:

With my work a lotttt of people in my class have worked for private care homes before so they already had experience.. meanwhile I'm totally new to it.
It's still quite stressful at times, evening shifts are a huge nope since I'm too slow for them.
Day shifts are alright.. but I need more speed to get people up on time!~
So I've been working a lot of overnight shifts, which are great, but they don't help build my speed/confidence at all. The only care that needs to be done is early in the morning and I'm so tired by then that I'm like.. "can I do the people who need two person care?" since I don't feel like I can do it on my own.. after 8 hours I'm DRAINED.

So my next appointment is going to be my last with her.

Then I get a new doctor and have to explain all this s**t all over again.

Oh hi!
Haven't been around lately. A lot has happened. Iunno the last time I did an update in here.
I start school on Tuesday! I'm pretty excited. So I've been dealing with that.

A friend visited a couple weeks ago for a few days. We met on twitter and she came to PDX for a convention thing for work. Stayed at my house. She basically only went to the convention one day for a couple hours cause we were having sex basically the entire time she was here. I like her a lot..which is a problem cause she lives in SF. She says shes maxed out on relationships..even though..I don't know what we are or anything whatever.

ANYWAYS.
I'm trying to get a new tattoo. I want "Misandry" tattooed on my knuckles.
I've also gotten into an odd niche for my work. I'm essentially a paid misandrist. Men pay me to do female supremacy and to tell them how men are under me. I'm also getting into gore stuff too..

My mom said my makeup skills won't come in handy. She didn't know they would come in handy for porn!

I should be starting school soon too.
I'm waiting on my results from my background check and I have to get a physical and go get a drug test. Then go apply for the EMT program.

Pretty good. I got to opt out of a mandatory "college survival" type class cause I've been to college before. Roommate and I had the class together and our Professor was all "Um..you don't have to take this if you don't want to" So I get to save money and my roommate gets to go down to 4 classes since for some reason they were taking 5!
But I can't access the ecompanion bit so I can do my homework that is due tomorrow so I'm nervous about that. I let my professor know but still. I don't like being prepared.

But I love my sewing class!

And thanks! I am a lot happier than I was last year or even the beginning of the year. Still stressed for money and what not but happier regardless. Would be better if these periods of depression would go away but that won't happen unless I get medicated.

OH MY ******** GOD.

I want to tell everyone this right now. I wish I could talk about it on facebook because it's so huge for my career but you know..in the closet still about that.

So ever since I started in this industry my main goal has been to work for places like Trouble Productions, Crash Pad, and Queer Porn TV. Well someone that works for them on the regular said she wants to shoot with me! She's coming up to Portland at the end of August/ beginning September and we're doing one shoot for my site, one of her and me for her site and then another of me and another chick for the same site.
I'm just..
I'm really excited. This is HUGE for my career. The exposure into the queer porn industry it will give me and the fact this will be my FIRST legit shoot.


I feel like crying I'm so happy right now.

My fluorite are nice. Got a little weight to them, but nice.
I am planning to order a pair of green quartz similar to the pair I used to own at 10mm. They were really good.
I've heard good things about hematite, and have some on their way to me :3

I too have heard good things about hematite, and quartz do tend to look really cool, though I am partial to jade (granted green is my favorite color)
