Friends Chat is fine for this. We're friends and we are chatting...well bawling our eyes out, but it's still a "hang out" of sorts.

I don't know AB91 personally, but I thought friend chat seemed a bit too light, maybe a more mature forum section would be appropriate.

Anyways, I'll be off from this thread. I wish you guys the best of luck, losing a dear friend can be hard.
I have known AB91 (Aparna) before she joined gaia over 5 years ago. She was one of the most loyal, sincere, and sweet friends I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She had a such a big heart and was very modest in attitude. She loved Harry Potter, Graphic Design, and kicking back chatting with her friends on forums. She has made me aware of her health issues in the past, but what she really wanted was for everyone around her to be truly happy and love the lives we were given.

RIP, Aparna. I will never ever forget you. Take care now. heart

I'm sorry that I didn't really get to know you too well, but I want to say thank you for all that you've done for Gaia & your friends here. You were well liked & touched a lot of lives. Rest in peace, dear angel.

I didn't know her as well as I could have but we were both regulars in some of the same threads. She was always so sweet and always had a kind word. My condolences to her friends and family.

Dangerous Nerd

This was seriously news I wasn't expecting a day before my birthday in the middle of all the fun festivities. emo

I'm honestly speechless at the news. I've been in and out of crying fits all afternoon, silently praying to Heavenly Father that this simply was. not. true. To be honest, I don't want to believe someone has passed on, it's always hard no matter who the person is. I didn't know her as well as most, but being that she was a Forum Assistant, I always ran into her one way or another.

She worked so hard to get activity going in my guild, giving nearly 110% at any moment in time. She even won a prize in our referral contest that ended at the beginning of the month, little did I know she passed away the day I made the trade.

The fact she cared about everyone, be them a staff member or a user, a gaia oldbie or a newbie is what really touched me the most. I don't think Aparna had a mean bone in her body, and she did her job as an FA excellently.

It's so hard to lose someone who sort of worked with you, helping keeping this place clean, and I would presume it's even harder for those who knew her more than I did.

In one sense there is no death. The life of a soul on earth lasts beyond their departure. You will always feel that life touching yours, that voice speaking to you, that spirit looking out of other eyes, talking to you in the familiar things they touched, worked with, loved as familiar friends. They live on in your life and in the lives of others that knew them.

Rest in peace, we will miss you so so very much. ♥
I did not know you, but may you find peace where ever you are. Gaia seems to be a better place for you being here. Thank you for all and have fun until we all see you again sometime heart

My prayers to all friends and family during such a hard time.

Just reading this brought me to tears. Nobody deserves to die that young.

Romantic Genius

I just found out, and in shock. This is a very very sad moment. AB was such a sweet girl. Most times she and I would chat via pm's and she loved helping me out with little things. She always showed so much love and support to everyone who asked for it. And never showed any kind of sadness, always happy and bubbly.

There's so much I want to say, but words can't explain any of this. Because she truly was an Angel. crying

Rest in Peace AB, you will be missed dearly. Sincere condolences to your friends and family. heart
