I've got a craft fair on saturday (totally unexpected) I might try making some little watercolour fairy wings in frames and see how they go.

My day got kind of messed up. I thought I was taking number 3 kiddo out for nerf-wars this afternoon but my friend got the day wrong so it's tomorrow afternoon instead.
Which means my free day for arting (tomorrow) has gone right out of the window rolleyes

Not sure I'm going to be able to do the second half of this spirit challenge.

I had no idea I'd be so freaked out by all those oily muscly bods.

I feel a bit queasy.

I getcha. I've always been queasy/squeamish about some stuff... and I don't like seeing veins. (I barely tolerate seeing my own veins XD). So I've always disliked seeing bodybuilder bods since they love to get those veins poppin...
What helps me with this is that I'm definitely thinking of Jacked Frost as allll snoowwww. It's only snow. It can't hurt me. XD;
... I also quickly saw a ref of a guy who didn't have any popped out veins.. so that helped and I closed the google search fast.

I used to get grossed out about veins but with my medical shenanigans I have to know where the good ones are or risk being a pin cushion when I get the Junior Doctor.

I mean I knew I was gonna have problems working two jobs and no days off so I made sure not to be stupid about it and set myself with any kind of goal haha! But there's always next year or who knows what kinds of art things I may start.

Awww Faery, I'm sorry to hear that crying The google search results are kind of over the top. My cousin and a close friend of mine are body builders, and it's more of a show of how hard everyone has worked to get to that point! If you think about it like that instead, maybe it'd make you feel better about it for the future? The oils are to reflect the lights to highlight your muscles so the judges can see and make a fair judgement, but yeah they are really really buff, and it's so weird to see!

I think you did a great job on your entry despite your uneasiness whee I'm glad you tried!
