Who sings "Save a horse, Ride a cowboy"?

Big and Rich
NeptuneGirl
I know that Terri Clark sings it, but what's the title?

You were standin' at my front door
When I came home tonight
And I could tell by the look you gave me
That you were needin' my advice
You said you want more outta life
Than he can give you
As a tear rolls down you face
Girl I've seen the way he looks at you
And I know someone who'd gladly take your place

If I were you
I'd run back home tonight
Tell him everything's alright
Yea, I know what I'd do
If I were you
I'd never let him go
I'd have someone to hold
My whole life through
If I were you

Shouldn't think you're missin' out on somethin'
Because you wear a weddin' band
'Cause I can't seem to find somebody
Who wants more than just a one night stand
You know, This single life I'm livin'
Ain't all it's cracked up to be
So you've come to the wrong place
If what you want is sympathy

If I were you
I'd run back home tonight
Tell him everything's alright
Yea, I know what I'd do
If I were you
I'd never let him go
I'd have someone to hold
My whole life through
If I were you
I'd run back home tonight
Tell him everything's alright
Yea, I know what I'd do
If I were you
I'd never let him go
I'd have someone to hold
My whole life through
If I were you

If I were you

It's just called "If I Were You".

I've been wondering about these for a while. There's too, and I'm afraid I recall very little of them both.

I don't know the name of the first one. It's about a little girl (or boy, but I think it's a girl eek ) hiding behind the couch, and something happens to her parents (?). The figure of Jesus on their wall falls behind the couch and she sleeps beside it... or something... @_@ Anyway that should be enough for you to recognize if you know it.

Number two I recall a bit of the lyrics of, and I'm sure the name is "She Said Yes" but I don't know the artist. The chorus (or part of it) goes:

She said 'yes,' I said 'Wow.'
I said 'When?' and she said 'How about right now?'
*something something something*
*perhaps another line, I dunno*
Then I asked if she believed in fate
And she said 'Yes'!

I really appreciate it and thanks in advance! heart
Chad brock sings she said yes i know the other but i can't remember the name sorry.

Well, it isnt a country tune persay, but this is the closest catagory to it, here are the lyrics, Google doesn't know who wrote it, maybe you do...

Waterfall(?)

Let your rain fall down, all around.
Let the thunder sound shake the ground.
Let the waterfall pound breaking down,
all the lies you found under me.
Let the sightless see, let them see.
Set the bound ones free, set them free.
Waterfall on me, waterfall.
I have sought you're heart, hear me call.

Oh my savior, I, I give you glory.
My Redeemer, my god and king.
There is no one, oh so holy.
As the one who, sets me free.

I can't think of anywhere anywhere I would rather be, then here with you.
I can't think of anything anything I would rather do then give you glory.
Come my savoir on the ground, holy spirit speed the hour.
I will shout out loud the message, freedom is coming and the kindom is now.

Hey, I used to know the name of this song, but I can't remember. Does anyone know the title and who sings the song about the little girl who is dieing? It's her mom that sings it. I can't even remember any of the lyrics, just what it's about. The mom is begging God to let the little girl live. One part she says "she's already got a home". I believe they are in the hospital with the little girl... and there's a part where she is lying between her mom and dad I think. Anyone know it?
I remember reading a debate about who sang Little Girl, about the little girl who hid behind the couch when her dad killed her mom and himself. John Michael Montgomery sings it. I just watched the music video.

Hum, this is more of a folky song, which has been done over by many, many people. I believe it's called Massie grove, Matty grove, or Massy grove. I really want to know who sings it so I could possibly buy the CD or something ^_^; The lyrics go something like this, there are a few variations, I think...

What high what high what high what a day,
the very first day of the year,
where little massie grove to the church did go,
some holy words to hear.

I can't rember the name of the song. But it is on the song catcher sound track. I think it's on the second sound track that is all old-time Pre-blugrass music

I remeber its SHerrie Austin...
Sherrie Austin-- Streets of heaven

Hello God, it's me again. 2:00 a.m., Room 304.
Visiting hours are over, time for our bedside tug of war.
This sleeping child between us may not make it through the night.
I'm fighting back the tears as she fights for her life.

Well, it must be kind of crowded,
On the streets of Heaven.
So tell me: what do you need her for?
Don't you know one day she'll be your little girl forever.
But right now I need her so much more.
She's much too young to be on her own:
Barely just turned seven.
So who will hold her hand when she crosses the streets of Heaven?

Tell me God, do you remember the wishes that she made,
As she blew out the candles on her last birthday cake?
She wants to ride a pony when she'd big enough.
She wants to marry her Daddy when she's all grown up.

Lord, don't you know she's my angel
You got plenty of your own
And I know you hold a place for her
But she's already got a home
Well I don't know if you're listenin'
But praying is all that's left to do
So I ask you Lord have mercy, you lost a son once too

And it must be kind of crowded,
On the streets of Heaven.
So tell me: what do you need her for?
Don't you know one day she'll be your little girl forever.
But right now I need her so much more.
Lord, I know once you've made up your mind,
There's no use in beggin'.
So if you take her with you today, will you make sure she looks both ways,
And would you hold her hand when she crosses the streets of Heaven.

The streets of Heaven.
Really hard folk songey one, possibly English, Im trying to find it for my mum cos she remembers someone once singing it for her. Very vague, but was something about a tin soldier who falls in love with a doll in a toyshop.

Dont really expect anyone to have heard it (no one on google seems to) but thought it was worth a shot.
Thanks a bunch lycain101!!! biggrin
