Aedan has made an interesting discovery on the Island of Life! A number of mysterious eggs have shown up, and it seems that the Kyn inside are almost a breed to themselves! This event will allow these strange Kyn to find owners and bonded that can hopefully appreciate their quirky nature and strange appearances.

Pokemon Kyn have restricted breeding abilities, being only able mate with other Pokemon Kyn, and only if they are the opposite gender, same Pokemon, and same evolutionary stage (i.e. Clone Charizard and Shiny Charizard may mate, but Raichu and Pikachu may not). Except, of course, if you're talking about Ditto.

At the same time, they don't seem to follow normal growth patterns - sometimes they seem to grow into entirely different things! Some are even oddly attracted to stones, and it others have different natural talents than most Kyns. Best to be safely interested and cautiously curious about all of these guys.

This will be updated as colorists and editist work on Pokemon. This is not complete at this time.

This is an ongoing event in the thread, that anyone can participate in, provided that they have the right preparation. Throughout the event, random Pokemon Kyn may pop-up in the thread, and you may try to capture them. Each encounter will generate a random number between 1 and 100, which is the target number to capture that Pokemon. Everyone posting after may use the means at their disposal to try and catch that Pokemon! The first person who, using an item that they have, is able to match the encounter's number successfully captures that Pokemon.

All of these Kyn are growing/evolving, with one very confused Caterpie. Zubat, however, is adult-only.

Throw Rock
Rocks are free, so you can take a gamble and just throw rocks to try and capture the Pokemon. All you have to do is post in bold large font: Rock Throw! after a wild Pokemon has appeared, and be sure to generate a random number between 1 and 100.

Throw Bait
Bait must be purchased, so be careful you don't run out. If you have purchased bait, then after a random Pokemon has appeared, all you need to do is post in bold, brown, large font: Bait Throw! and roll a random number between either 1 and 75 or 25 and 100. Make sure you choose the one that corresponds to the random encounter's number!

Throw Pokeball
Pokeballs must also be purchased, and can be thrown by posting in bold, red, large font: Pokeball Go! and generating a random number between 1 and 50 or 51 and 100. Be sure to choose the right set to generate between!

Throw Great Ball
Great balls are also purchased, and are thrown by posting in bold, gold, large font: Great Ball Go! and generating a random number between 1 and 25, 26 and 50, 51 and 75, and 76 and 100. Again, make sure to choose the correct parameters to match the random encounter.

Throw Master Ball
Want to take a great chance and hope you're the first person to post? Then purchase the pricy Master Ball and all you have to do is be the first to post in bold, purple large font: Pokemon is Mine!. If you're the first person to post, or throw your ball before anyone else generates the right number, then you get the Pokemon. Just be careful - these things are expensive and if you aren't quick enough you could waste it.

In order to purchase items to help you capture random Pokemon, just PM the mule with your order and send in the trade. Be sure to title both the trade and the PM "Stocking Up" please. If you don't use your items, then they aren't refundable at the end of the event. However, you may be able to trade them in for something.

Combining role-play with random encounters and a taste of battling, Safari What? is a game held inside the guild where Riders are invited to enter an area where we know Pokemon Kyn are. Once there, they have a certain number of posts to hunt out a Pokemon Kyn and try to get it for themself, or else be booted out of the game. Everyone is allowed to participate as many times as they want, but if you 'catch' a Pokemon Kyn, you are required to pay a fee.

All of the Kyn from this event are growing/evolving.

Waffles knows that she can't cover everyone's favorite Kyn in the course of this event, and therefore wants to offer a unique opportunity to the shop-goers. What You're Bidding On
Fully custom, no-holds-barred, Pokemon Cosplay Kyn. The only limitation is that you cannot get a Ditto, and you cannot get a Cosplay of a Kyn that has already been made into a Pokemon - unless it's a color variation (Clone or Shiny) or a different gender. The catch is that the Pokemon will only be growing if the auction exceeds 20,000 gold.

On every 100th page, the posters that aren't just spamming will be entered into a raffle for an adult-only custom Pokemon Kyn. The restrictions are that this Pokemon must not be identical to another one already made - meaning that you must have a shiny, clone, or opposite gender, and it cannot be a Ditto.

If we make it to page 500, then the posters there will be entered into a raffle for a growing custom Pokemon Kyn.
