Implings are a fairly humanoid race, despite the thick fur that covers their entire bodies. They have a tail, much like a cats', albeit with a (usually) triangle shaped tip on the end. Their ears are large and pointed, and the tips of their nose are black, and feel a lot like a dogs'. They have claws on their fingers and toes, and sharp fangs in their mouths. Fur colors vary, from brown and black to more unusual colors, such as crimson and neon blue. Some Implings have white markings on their bodies, in places such as their torso, their face, the tips of their ears, hands, etc. They have hair, which differs from their fur, and in patches of their body their fur grows longer, faster. This is, technically, 'facial and body hair'. Their hair color usually differs from their fur color, even if it's only by a shade.
Completely white Implings, 'Albinos', are a rarity. They have red eyes, but aside from that have no other pigment.
Implings possess three to five fingers.
Implings have the innate ability to conjure and control fire. This does not, however, protect them from being burned. Most have the potential to use Magic. Also, their tails are prehensile, and they are naturally fast, and agile. Enhanced senses allow them to have a sense of scent akin to a bloodhound, and they can hear extremely well due to their large and sensitive ears. They do not do well in cold, however water is alright.
Munsters are much like Implings in many ways. They are also fairly humanoid, and possess a long and prehensile tail, topped with a tuft of fur the same color as the hair on their head. Their ears are long, large, and pointed, often longer than an Impling's. The tips of their noses are black and soft, though this seems to be a strange discoloration of their skin, as opposed to being like an Impling's nose is. They have claws on their fingers and toes, much longer than an Impling's. In fact, their fingers and toes seem to merge with the claws seamlessly. Like an Impling, they have three to five fingers.
The differences begin with the Munster's complete lack of all-body fur. They have fur on their tail tips, and that is it. Their teeth are oversized, and fill their mouths from birth, causing a slight and strange accent or lisp. The closest apparent accent is Germanic, or Russian.
Munsters differ from Implings in the fact that they are completely Magickless, as far as Zak and Nigel can tell. However, they are faster, stronger, and for the most part more violent than Implings, they more than make up for the fact that they cannot use fire like their Impling counterparts. They can also see in the dark, and smell as well as most bloodhounds. Their large ears also make hearing very easy. However, they have a natural aversion to being in enclosed spaces.
