one of the weirdest things i've noticed since moving is.. in florida, i guess because of the heat, stuff got built... wider. there wasn't that many two storey houses, but there was plenty of BIG houses that just had massive single level floorplans
here, i look around my neighborhood and essentially every house is at least two levels.
and even offices and buildings were that way too.
the first time i was in downtown columbus i almost walked into a signpole because i was looking around at all the tall buildings
because even massive cities in florida like jacksonville and orlando don't have that many giant buildings
the corn everywhere is pretty weird too. corn doesn't grow in florida. >n>

i gotta go get my external hard drive to get the graphics to make helicie's picture for the front page
