Top Soccer Magazine
World Soccer Magazine was launched in 1960 and has established itself as a trusted authority on football. They specialize in the international football scene. The writing staff consists of highly regarded soccer journalists, giving readers a comprehensive monthly review of all things football-from soccer stars to match statistics and updates–they have it. Readers anticipate World Soccer Magazine’s yearly organization of its awards, such as “Team of the Year,” “Player of the Year,” and “Manager of the Year,” where the best performers in international football are given honors every year, since 1982. The magazine also offers analytical views of games and strategies of managers.

FourFourTwo

FourFourTwo is concentrated in the UK but they also feature a whole lot of news and features about international football. The magazine’s name is based on the most popular soccer formation used by managers in matches. It delivers interviews of football’s hottest and top football players and personalities. It offers both a humorous and informative take on the sport. One feature even has former professional players dishing out dressing room stories in their hay days. There are at least fifteen different editions of the magazine across the globe, including an Australian, Brazilian, Hungarian, Korean, Nigerian, Thai, and Vietnamese versions.

When Saturday Comes

When Saturday Comes was launched in March 1986 and serves as a cheaper alternative to football magazines. It dominantly focuses on British soccer, but includes several of the international scenes of football, as well. The articles are written by journalists but they also accept contributions from fans and readers, which sets them apart from other magazines. Just like FourFourTwo, the magazine has both a serious and humorous take on the sport. Their monthly features include Euro view and World view, which focus on the football scenes outside Britain; match of the month features; and Sharp End, which talks about clubs’ financial and managerial issues; among its many other monthly articles. The magazine has also published several books throughout the years, including English books about the football histories of Spain and Germany and a book compilation of WSC covers.
