This was a promise I've made before heading out to my unit. Never draw too close to people and become their friends for life. The reason for it was harsh, but so was losing those friends in battle I'd say. I was incapable to lose anymore good friends in my life time to bare the thoughts of ever going through it again. The horrors that my friends bring upon themselves and our country will one day bring haunting memories to us all. They will change history and there will be a few of us who will stand against that horror.


Before all that I've said was spoken this was the beginning of my journey of becoming a better person.
