This was written as a responce to "Putting Down The Gun" By Rebecca Walker. (Can be found here)
I'll try to make this quick... My hobbies consist of watching Japaneses Anime, gaming, reading and debating on different personal philosophies... As well as being a fan of the show "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic." Earning me the label of a "brony," Now, I would like to state the obvious illusion of gender specific hobbies as the line has been rapidly fading during the past century or so.
I would also like to point out that if her son is enjoying the hobby of playing games, and is truly as intelligent as she claims, he would not be infleunce by "violent" video games and by cutting him off of them she is limiting his range of interaction with a wide basis of the culture. Also she is clearly trying too hard to be a good parent and is falling into the stereotypical suburban single mom category.
Thirdly, THE KID IS IN SIXTH F*CKING GRADE! It's probably the time she taught him to be independent of social labeling and be more independent and secure.
