Discription of story: Daren Yun was at a party in New York with some friends. It was January 15, the celebration of the end of WWIII. Everyone was honoring the fallen and thanking the hero's of that bloody war. But what they didn't know..was on that day of celebration a new war was going to come into affect. As they listened to stories of the war from the veterans a large space craft flew above the city. It was nothing new, since humanity have learned to make space craft, large ships flew over the city many times. But this ship was carrying a new bomb, a gene changer bomb, something that was not allowed to be made in earth. But some mad scientists couldn't be stopped if they did it...off world...a couple scientists wanted to change humanity and so did a fanatic. A man named Raphael Cortuta , this man was a maniac, he thought that humanity was weak and needed to be eradicated. He called himself a god in human flesh, this ex ENF got it in his head that he was immortal. That was only because he survived two shots to the head, a grenade explosion, an atomic bomb and accidental friendly air strikes. This man either had luck shining on him as bright as the atom bomb itself or...this man was a god in human flesh. And we all know how unlikely that is for him to be a god, so everyone mostly nicknamed him Lucky. Back on earth, right before the bomb hit everyone could hear a high pitch whistle through the air and that got everyone's attention. The veterans knew that noise and told the people around them to get down but it was to late. A bright light shined and a shock wave shattered windows and the gene changer was with the shock wave. Everyone that was in the blast radius was infected...so practically everyone in new york was infected. Millions of people where infected, everyone had changed, from human to a creature. The day after Raphael told the whole galaxy that he was the one that attacked and waged war against earth and it's allies. The galaxy, was going into it's first ever galaxy war. The year after the bomb the war was still fresh, the quarantine on New York was lifted. The government had to make sure no one else was able to get infected, what they didn't know was that they didn't need the quarantine for the whole year. The virus died the next day immediately, and all the infected ones where changed with severe pain, the weak and the old have died. Lot's committed suicide or shot each other wanting to end each others suffering. But most, most stayed alive, they wanted revenge, they wanted...war. Once the quarantine was lifted the millions that was still left signed up and was put to training, lots had to go off world because they filled up the training camps quickly. Daren Yun was brought to several planets, he was picked to be one of the free special op units. Not many get to have that chance, they can free roam the galaxy and attack at any time they wish or join battles at anytime. Daren needed a crew and got recommendations from his superiors and was able to get a ship for himself. Daren got free reign in the galaxy, and his plans where to cripple the military might of Raphael "Lucky" Cortuta.
