Torence was part of a large group of assassins that were making their way through the large forest towards a castle where they had to assassinate either the king, queen, or the princess. Who ever was easier to get to but the biggest bonus for the death of all three of them, who ever had made this bounty, they wanted to sow the seeds of chaos. Torence was more for killing the king, he didn't like killing woman it was not his kind of thing to do even though he was told to kill woman he never did he just didn't have the heart to do it. On the way to the castle some of the other assassins fell into traps getting themselves killed Torence almost fell into one himself when he looked back to the others. He was able to avoid the swinging log of spikes at the last second. The remaining assassins and him stopped on trees by the castle walls staring at the walls, watching guards march around with caution. Torence was here just for the gold not reputation, all he was going to do is kill the king but he knew the Queen might die so he sent out a letter to the princess. Telling her what will happen tonight, he was not sure if the note got through but the amount of guards says she might have gotten the letter. Some of the assassins took out smoke bombs and tossed them to the guards forming a thick fog, Torence was the first to jump in and he was followed by others. He passed through the smoke and headed inside the castle, he could hear guards rushing through the hallways and he ducked into a room. He could hear the guards march pass, taking in a deep breath he slowly slipped out of the room and stuck to the shadows. He made sure to keep out of sight till he got to the Kings bedroom. Slowly pulling out his blade he slowly opened the door, the room was dark "he isn't here..." he whispered to himself. He was hopeful but as he was to turn he heard a little clank and he turned around but saw no one there. He then felt a hard object hit the back of his head, it was a vase that was floating above his head till it was dropped. When Torence came to he was in chains and in a cell in the dungeon "d-damn....." he whispered. "I guess....someone was waiting...." he whispered and slowly raised his right hand up to his head to rub it and winced to the bump on his head. "Well....I guess I failed and now I just rot in here" he whispered looking at the window, the assassins all had failed.

Zane was on a cargo ship that was on its way to an island that his fathers company just found. His father asked Zane to go to the island with fellow employees and explore it. On the deck Zane stared out at the ocean, watching the sunset with a warm smile. Though the sky started to get dark fast, thunder boomed in the sky. When he looked up to his surprise he saw dark clouds quickly start forming, unnaturally so. It was odd, unnatural, or so he thought since clouds don't just form like that, or shouldn't so quickly. He felt the rain drops and he turned and headed inside quickly. Before entering he heard heavy thudding, looking back he saw hail. Turning and heading inside he headed to the bridge. He talked with the captain about the storm but he had no answers and the computers was acting all strange, spastic. Then a bolt of lightning hit the deck. The waters were getting worse as well, large waves causing strain to the ships frame. Zane quickly made his way to his room, he needed to secure his equipment. Checking his things and trying to keep balance was difficult. He struggled to stay on his feet, things falling and crashing on the floor. He rushed out of his room to head for the bridge. As he ran the ship started to tilt, then a loud noise was heard. It was a noise he never heard, it was loud. As he ran he noticed it was like running up a hill now. The ship was going vertical and it made things difficult. Water rushing in wasn't making it easy either. He was able to climb his way outside, that is when he really found out. The ship was in two, it had broken in half. He tried to climb to the top of the half he was on. Struggling, he was nearly making it when he looked up only to watch a barrel come down. He couldn't avoid it, he only could brace himself as it hit him and took him to the ocean. Washing up onto the beach Zane laid there on the sandy beach, unconscious, battered and bruised.
