Voren was out with his father enjoying a father and son day together. They went hunting, fishing, played some cards while they waited for the fish to bite. Voren had turned 18 and it was a fun day so far. Voren was laying on the ground looking up at the sky watching birds fly and listened to them singing, he just loved nature and wanted to live out there. Slowly sitting up he stretched out before getting to his feet and let out a loud yawn before he made his way to the lake. Removing his clothes down to his underwear he jumped into the water to dive and swim around diving under the water. While he was under the water he failed to notice a strange shockwave of energy go through the forest. When he came out of the water he walked to his clothes, he put them on before he looked around slowly wondering where his father went. It was quiet and peaceful but then he heard a twig snap and he looked behind him to see his father leaning against a tree panting and holding his bleeding side. "R-run.....son...." his father said weakly before claws went through his body. After his father fell to the ground a ghoul stood there growling. Standing there in shock he looked at his fathers dead body then looked at the ghoul who started charging, Voren quickly turned and started running. As he ran an arrow flew past him and hit the ghoul square in the head bringing it down. Pausing to look back he then looked around but didn't see anything and heard a female voice but speaking in a different language not a human language. Quickly he ran to his fathers body and grabbed the pistol that was in his belt, he knew his father was dead and wanted to take him. But he heard noises deep in the forest, he had to get out of here.
Saying his goodbye he quickly pushed himself to his feet and rushed to away. "W-what is going on?" he asked himself in a scared voice. He didn't dare look behind him he didn't want to see what was coming then he heard roaring and what sounded like battle cries. He ran back to where his camp should be, when he arrived at the spot the camp was still there thankfully. "Okay....okay...." he went to the tents and opened his footlocker he had in his tent and started putting on new clothes. These clothes were victorian age type clothes, he wanted to show these to his father, a family legacy of old. Fixing the long coat after he put it on he then put his hat on and lifted the face mask he checked the pistol and put it in the holster. He pulled out another pistol from the footlocker and a box of bullets. He put the bullets in a pouch then he crawled out of the tent and looked around slowly. Something felt so different, it wasn't the same, he didn't understand it.
Making his way through the forest he made his way up a hill and, from an open spot in the forest he could see out to a large open plain. His grey eyes widening as he saw something he never thought he could ever see, something impossible. Humans and these green skinned creatures, orcs as they are known standing side by side and fighting against these strange creatures, the undead army. He pulled out a binocular to look at the battle, he watched in disbelief, seeing high elves fighting as well. Lowering his binoculars he put them in the pouch "this is a dream right?" he asked in a whisper and leaned against a tree trying to figure this out.

Azera smiled as she stood there, one gun in hand aiming it just at a wall. A few clicks and her friends took another set of pictures. She changed poses for them, having fun posing, putting on different expressions. Wearing her new blue dress, one she and a friend of hers made together, she had the idea for it and drawn it up and her friend made it real for her. Right now she was showing it off, letting her friends take pictures in the middle of the ruined church. She loved cosplaying and dressing up for events and friends. But that wasn't her only love, like her father she loved guns, so she works with her dad gunsmithing. He taught her everything, from making bullets to using the machines to craft parts for guns. Thanks to him she knew how to handle bigger guns, how to keep her footing and keep stable.

Laughing lightly with her friends they finished taking pictures. With that done Azera grabbed her duffle bag, she set it on the ground and put her two thompson contenders into the bag along with their holsters. They were real guns, they weren't her favorite but they fit with her outfit, at least she thought they did. Her favorite pistols were also in the bag, she always carried guns when she went out, be it with her friends, family or alone. With the bag zipped up she picked it up and walked around the church. She waved to her friends since they were leaving, she on the other hand wanted to explore. She loved exploring, especially old run down places, it brought a spark of excitement through her. With a bright giddy smile, she made her way down a flight of stone stairs to the basement. Opening her bag she pulled out a little flashlight and walked around, looking through the old dusty basement.

Walking around slowly, she was careful where she stepped making sure not to step on something that would break and make her fall. She came to an old iron gate and pushed on it, it budged a little, she pushed a little harder and was able to open the gate. With an excited giggle she walked into the stone tunnel, a bright smile on her soft lips as she grew more excited. Though that excitement didn't last, light was at the end of the tunnel. She came to another steel grated gate and was able to push this one open. Once she did she came outside, turning the light off she walked outside with a small sigh. "Just leads outside...." she mumbled though she didn't remember being a huge forest here. She stepped foreword and looked around, she looked up towards the ruined church that sat on top of the hill now above her. A creak and she looked back just in time for the gate to shut. Walking to the gate she went to open it but it didn't budge.

A sigh escaped her, now she had to walk the long way up to the church. A light breeze blew by, which brought a smile to her face "at least the air is fresh" she spoke happily. Putting the flashlight into her duffle bag she started to make her way up the old dirt path. Humming a happy tune, that is till she got to the top, her friends should be there same with the vehicles they used to get there. Instead, what she sees is an empty dirt lot. Destroyed wooden wagons and carts here and there. When she took a look around, she didn't see a town down the road, there was not even a road to speak of. Just a dirt path that lead up to the church. A huge open valley, spots of forest here and there and near the church was a massive forest. She didn't understand what was going on, she felt like she was going to have a panic attack. As she stood there the sky was starting to get dark, dark grey clouds came over head, she heard movement in the trees. Slowly opening her duffle bag she moved her right hand into it, her heart racing as she stared at the forest.
