just watch me.
*shrugs* halloween dance was good, succeeded in hooking up Nick and Krin, and Jenna and Trophy or however the hey you spell his name. lol. i won't go into detail on any of that... thoughts are hush hush right now. hah. ^^

work was a pain (got to do something new... and miserable lol), went long. will work tomorrow, too (which is usually a no-no) to do a fall cleaning. gonna make cookies in a little bit to make everyone a little happier (usually by the end of it all we're about ready to keel over). :]

just called mom now... what started as a friendly conversation soon escalated into a full-fledged fight via 4000 miles of airtime about raking someone's lawn.

1. SHE'S the one who signed up to lead it.
2. I have so much s**t on my plate already I don't want to have to worry about that, too.
3. Isn't DAD supposed to be helping?
4. Since nobody but her knows what's going on, we can't really do anything. & with that in mind, it's really hard to plan that kinda crap.
5. I don't like asking people to do that kinda stuff on a moment's notice. Because no one except the experts like our family can handle that kind of pressure with such little notice, and (seemingly) pull it off without a hitch.

Heck, I've got enough crap going on right now that I'll be stuffed to the rafters (zomg Brian Regan haha...) until next December, thank you very much.

Why is it that there are two extremes of people: The people who do EVERYTHING, and those who do nothing. ?? We've got exhibit A: 4-Hers. Generally it can be assumed that if you meet them at one thing other than a club meeting, you'll see them everywhere. And I mean EVERYWHERE. At school, at school events, at church stuff, even just doing random volunteer work around town. =/

then there are those who sit on their asses all day and do NOTHING. stare You ask them to go to something, to help with something for a few hours, and you get more complaints and whines than you know what to do with. *sigh*

I try to be in the middle. Pick and choose my battles wisely- if I won't like it and know I won't want to get involved, I won't do it. Like FFA. Or Sunday school teaching. But stuff that I want to know more about, or stuff that I've always wanted to do, I'll try out.

*huff* just sick and tired of everything... almost 12:30 AM, yet I'm surprisingly still awake. Sooooo much s**t to do tomorrow I wanna cry. Operation Christmas Child boxes (yet again, a horrible thing to get involved with when you have no more time left in the day or money in your pocket for it), college essays need to be completed and sent in, house needs to be put back in order after dad was home alone all day, homework up the wazoo, dordt crap to deal with, and trying to prep for Halloween all make the immediate list of stuff to do. :/

we played a game tonight called "How Many People Does it Take to Tie Nick's Tie?" After more than 5 of us tried, he finally just tried it himself... kinda halfway worked...??? lol.

now 'tis 1:30. cookies are all made, getting tired now. snooping random blogs on the blogging sites... lotsa young family & spanish ones. =/ anyways, happy today. now it is officially halloween weekend... it hasn't really sunk in that it's halloween yet, dunno if it will until we go to Shioko's?? *shrugs*

happy today.
