*Ken and Lilly are getting ready for bed. Ken lies down in his bed, while Lilly lies down on the ground. Ken looks at her awkwardly.*
Ken : Are you really sure you want to sleep on the floor? >_>;
Lilly : I'm used to it!
*Ken stares at her, and then lies down. Soon, they're both asleep. You see Ken in his room on his bed, with the clock blank and the room completely silent. He wakes up, and realizes this, automatically seeming a bit uneasy. But he notices something different. Lilly is still with him.*
Ken : *Thinking* He doesn't plan on hurting her too, does he!?
*Ken wakes Lilly up. She looks at him sleepily.*
Lilly : *Drowsy* Huh? Ken? What's up?
Ken : Lilly, you need to get up and hide... We aren't in the real world, we're... in my dream... I guess...
*Lilly looks shocked, and jumps up. Ken is knocked off his balance by her, and looks confused.*
Ken : Lilly, what's wrong?
Lilly : I-I can't... I d-don't want to... leave me alone...
*Lilly holds herself and backs up into a corner. She looks around nervously, before staring wide eyed in horror at a figure behind Ken.*
Lilly : *Yelling* Watch out!!
*Ken spins around, to see who's behind him. It's a guy, a bit taller than Ken, who has a creepy smile on his face.*
Ken : Who.. who are you?
??? : Who am I? Really, who am I? I can't really say for myself. I suppose that's up to you to decide, Ken.
*Ken takes attention at the mention of his name.*
Ken : How did you kno-
*??? blows past him and towards Lilly. Lilly tries to get away from him, but he grabs her.*
??? : And you, Lilly...you've been quite a bad girl...
*Ken rushes at him.*
Ken : Let go of her!
*He simply looks at Ken, and Ken's hand (which was holding onto the man's shoulder.) turns grey and stops moving. Ken pulls his hand away, and it starts moving again.*
Ken : *Thinking* Wha?
??? : Now, Lilly... what are we going to do with you?
Lilly : I-I'm sorry! Please d-don't hurt me!
??? : Hurt you?! Ha! I don't plan on hurting you! I won't harm a hair on your precious little head! I'm sure Ken wouldn't like that at all, would you Ken?
*The man looks at Ken, who looks dumbfounded, and not quite sure what to say.*
??? : Eh? No answer? Does that mean you would like me to hurt your precious little sister?
*The man grabs Lilly tightly, and Ken looks anxious.*
Ken : No! Don't hurt her!
*He lets go of her.*
??? : That's what I thought.
*The man walks around the room, slowly approaching Ken.*
??? : Now then, Ken, time for some introductions.. Oh, what am I saying? Introductions? Silly me.
*He shoots up into Ken's face, and suddenly looks like Ken, just like Ken would normally have nightmares about.*
??? : We're already quite familiar with each other.
*Ken looks scared, remembering being beaten and abused by who he thought was himself. He backs up against the wall, with a scared expression on his face. The man returns to who he originally was, and laughs.*
??? : Yes, you remember quite well... But I suppose I should really... explain to you, who I really am.
*The man jumps up onto the bed, placing himself above Lilly and Ken, and smiles.*
Ambrose : My name, is Ambrose.
*Suddenly, some objects from around the room begin to float around, and change shape.*
Ambrose : In this world, in people's dreams, I can control things. I can do anything I want really, I can enter anyone's dreams as well. In short, really, in this world...*
*The entire room sort of dissolves, and falls apart. Ken and Lilly are separated by a huge gap in the floor, which gradually becomes two platforms that they stand stand on. The bed that Ambrose was standing on, however, has become large and impressive looking. Ambrose smiles sinisterly.*
Ambrose : I am God.
*The platforms that Ken and Lilly are standing on rock around, and they struggle to keep their balance.*
Ambrose : Now, you've got to understand where I'm coming from. I'm a demon too, you see. I however, have actually been loyal to the person who gave me life again, who gave me this amazing power. I have been carrying out my duty. I have been killing off those pathetic humans, to make this world a better place for us "Un-Humans" to live in.
Ken : You're out of your mind!
*Ambrose looks very angry.*
Ambrose : Out of my mind for doing what my creator intended!? Hardly! It's you who's out of your mind! You're out of your minds to think you can go against him without consequence! You're out of your minds to think you can go against me without consequence! But I'll show you, I'll show you just what those consequences are!
*The platforms that Lilly and Ken are standing on widen and solidify. The room starts to materialize again. Ken, Lilly, and Ambrose are all standing in the room just like they were before. Ken looks confused.*
Ken : ...?
*Ambrose looks at the two of them, before fixating his stare at Lilly. He shoots in front of her.*
Ambrose : About that whole... "not hurting a hair on your hair" thing...
*Ken tries to get Ambrose away from Lilly, but some barrier has formed between him and them. He looks at Ambrose angrily, and looks anxious. Ambrose has an evil smile on his face.*
Ambrose : ...just kidding.
*Suddenly, the floor underneath Lilly appears to liquefy, and she falls in. As she goes under the surface, the very top solidifies again, but is transparent. Lilly can be seen struggling beneath the floor, drowning. Ken looks horrified, and starts punching the barrier with all his might. Ambrose looks at him...*
Ambrose : Stop making such a racket.
*...and Ken is suddenly electrocuted and blown back by the barrier. He lands on the floor across the room, powerless.*
Ken : ...Lilly...
*Ken suddenly wakes up in his bed, looking scared and sweaty. It's morning. He leans up out of bed, looking discomforted.*
Ken : *Thinking* Ambrose, huh...?
*Ken turns to get out of bed. He looks down at Lilly, still asleep. He crouches down to wake her up.*
Ken : Lilly, are you--
*Ken notices that her shoulder is wet. He looks scared, and turns her over, face up. He looks terrified, and backs up suddenly. He gags and throws up from shock. He's shaking, and starting to tear up. On the ground, is the drowned body of Lilly, with "They die in real life too." written on her forehead, by Ambrose.*
Ken : Not... Lilly... please not her...
*Ken stands up, with his head drooping down. He's shaking, and crying. He screams her name, falls down on his bed, and starts sobbing. Sam opens the door suddenly and rushes in.*
Sam : Ken?! What's the matter?
*Sam notices Ken sobbing, and then notices Lilly's body on the floor. She shrieks, and backs up.*
Sam : Ken!? Wh-Who did this?!
*Ken gets a hold of himself, and stands up. He stops crying, and wipes his face off. He looks at Sam with baggy eyes and a miserable expression.*
