Luv4manga's blog
I'll write about all sorts of things! It's the luv4manga blog!!! Find out what's happening in my life! I'd be very happy if you'd look and leave a comment for the journal from today! ^_^
My Opinions of my OCs, and what I'm aiming for
Rick and Justin : I feel bad for them. They originally were only representing the other Un-Humans, then they were specific people who died quickly, then I figured out that I should let them stick around longer. But I haven't worked on developing their personality or character at all because they're supposed to be dead. So now I'm trying to kill them off in any way possible that won't seem ridiculous. xD

Ambrose : I definitely think he's one of my most interesting OCs. He's insane, but not an L kind of insane. He's just very unpredictable. Sometimes he'll enter Ken's dreams to kill him. Sometimes he'll enter Ken's dream to have a chat. I feel like every time he appears, you have no idea what he's going to do, and he can change suddenly from there. So I think he can be very interesting at times. But also rather scary, thanks to the fact that he controls everything.

Sandra : I have a hard time with Sandra. I can't decide if I want her to be super girly and KAWAII DESU NE~~~~, or strong and irritable. So I'm trying to go for a mix of the two. So she can be very girly and weak, but not to the irritating point. She can still stick up for herself. I tend to sway too far in either direction lots of the time.

Illusen : I love her, and I feel bad for her. xD I like her appearance a lot, and she's one of my favorite female characters, but I make her life suck horribly. I tend to do that with my OCs, but she's one of the few that really has NOTHING good ever happen to her. Her ending sucks as well.

Ken : Being that he was the first character that I started to expand on and actually create an OC out of, I've swayed left and right with him, both with his appearance, and his personality. For example, his hairstyle has changed four times. I've gone from him being quiet, depressed and emo, to being horribly angry and violent, to my current settlement of him being bipolar between the two. I'm trying to stress an animal theme with him, like a dog or something. He's possesive, and when he attacks someone, he tends to be sloppy and unorganized. Not to mention that his teeth get sharp and he gets claws. I also try to make his life a living hell, like he's been totally stressed and depressed since day 1, but thanks to certain people and circumstances, he hasn't gone off the deep end. Unlike Illusen, though, he has a better end. razz

Liam : Until recently, I hadn't ever drawn him or given him an actual name. He was just like Rick and Justin, and was just a filler character. I went through a ton of themes and personalities, but he was always very boring and typical. But then it hit me. GAY. Bam, he was interesting. (For me at least.) I just built off of that.

|||| : If you actually have been looking through my plot lines in my journal, you may have noticed this set of lines somewhere in there. That's because this character hasn't gotten a name yet. He has some nicknames (The Red Trail in particular.) but I can't come up with a name for him, other than some really corny ones. (Chronos, and Pain. >_> wink My idea for him is simple. A horrible, bloody, killer. He comes across a human being, and kills them, without ever saying a thing. But determining his actual character is a bit more difficult. My idea is that most of his "death scars" have been reopened, but not all of them, so he's still alive, but leaves behind a trail of blood.
Update - His name is Xavier.

?girl? : At the time that I'm writing this, I just made her yesterday. I was trying to think of a more in depth and interesting way to re-introduce Ken, and maybe show that new characters are going to be introduced at the same time. I want her to be almost exactly like Sandra, and to eventually start acting as a bit of romantic competition between her and Sandra for Ken. After the part I wrote about her in Season 2 Opening, I plan for her parents to be introduced, who are two people who hate Unhumans. At some point, I want them to be saved by an Unhuman, and I'd also like to have her and Ken develop more of a bond, in a similar way to Sandra and Ken, with the way they hate each other at first but gradually start to enjoy being around each other.
Update : Her name is Emily.

"Season 3" - I was almost in tears typing this. A while ago, I was thinking and wondering; Ken is immortal, and Sandra's not. So what would end up happening to them? I decided not to leave it up to the viewers. And not to sugar coat it either. Ken would have to either be murdered or kill himself, and if he was murdered, I figured that would be a really sucky ending. So I also showed a lot of what ends up happening with their relationship. It's supposed to be like this : Ken and Sandra got married, and had teh secks to make teh babiez. So started their sweet little family. But all was not well! Eventually, Sandra's life came to an end because of natural causes, as well as his friend's lives. (When Samantha died, Samuel went off the deep end and shot himself. Considerably easier than stabbing yourself to death.) Naturally, Ken was upset. His kids had kids, and the family went on. But when Ken's kids died, Ken couldn't handle watching his loved ones die, and left home for many years. So the actual chapter takes place... probably about 80-100 years after the second season ends. : Anyways, he visits his granddaughter, who's supposed to be about in her early twenties, and the events ensue. Unhumans gradually blended into society, and so their house to take care of Unhumans was no longer needed, and was abandoned, to be destroyed. At the very end, my idea is that Ken is finally together with everyone in the afterlife, so it's a happy ending. :>

Sex Appeal : I don't like drawing fat people. I just don't know how to do it. None of the characters in my series are fat. Even more so, most of them I actually try to make look... fairly good looking. Especially the guys. (It's like the opposite sex harem. Lots of walking in on GUYS in showers, or GUYS while they're changing. I gave it the switcheroo. See what I did there? ;D) My current explanation is that Unhumans are overall, always more physically fit than normal human beings. So like, Rick doesn't EXCERCISE or anything, but he's not supermuscular either. He's in the between grounds. In the meantime, though, I'm trying hard to make the humans look at least, a tiny bit "unappealing", to not overdo the sex appeal too much. Realism is a semi-good thing, to me. Especially with appearances.
