Grammar is your friend. Not only that, but it will keep you out of trouble. 	You know, I wonder when I stopped giving a s*t about grammar. Perhaps when I got tired of people (and myself) ignoring perfect points because of insignificant mistakes, such as confusing “their” for “there”? I donno. It’s so annoying to see someone who has a decent* understanding of English grammar correct someone else (especially when they themselves make a mistake in correcting the other person). Thy c sum1 tip lke dis an tink day hve l3s of a pnt thn someone who types like this, even when they have the same point. These are probably the same people who mistake big impressive words for big impressive points. I think we’re breeding stupidity by encouraging people to focus on the grammar and vocabulary instead of the point being made. Don’t get me wrong—learning and utilizing proper grammar isn’t a bad thing. But getting worked up over it is silly (not that you are. I’ve never seen you explode). I wonder which shows more of a lack of understanding: The one who makes the mistake or the one who can’t see past it. ~DC
