LOL that is true.
Well, Killua because he is the most developed character, in my opinion. He went through many character development throughout the story. Helps you get to know a character more. Kurapika is awesome. xD His eyes are pretty cool, and I am sure if the story went on longer (mangaka had to go on another haitus) he would get a lot more character development too. Gon just because he was so innocent but had that touch of insanity, which came out A LOT during the ant arc. Leorio because he is hilarious and doesn't have much of a point to the whole thing (though I do think I heard he would have appeared more with Kurapika during the next arc). Hisoka because he is insane and weird and cool. xD I don't see how anyone can not like Hisoka. xD He's such a weird character. What about you? O:

I must say that I agree with you on Killua's character development; he goes through some rough stuff and grows because of it. Ging would have to be another favorite character of mine -- he intrigues me. His Nen powers especially. How far are you in the manga? ( I don't want to spoil anything )...
Meruem's character development is also really neat, in my opinion.
