That and, at least you actually finish judging, Daisy. xD

I've still got two writing contests on my subscribed list where the last post is from like, December, and they haven't finished yet.

Buh. I just realized my entry didn't copy all of its spaces when I copied here from Word.
I fail. D=

ω And just for the moment – just for one night – you can rest. ω

Fix it in its original post.

How is it that it's winter, but I only feel like writing summery stories? Man, I used to like the winter. I don't know what changed.

@Days: It looks so much better now. Thanks so much for letting me fixing it even though it's past the deadline.
Okay, a bit of an update.

My computer with Internet access has a severe virus on it, which freezes the computer no matter what I try to do. Therefore, I have not been able to get on it, and won't until it is fixed.

In addition to that, here is my assignment schedule for this week:
  • Tuesday: Essay on Supreme Court case for Economics (Internet required)
  • Wednesday: Essay on Doctor Zhivago for Music and Movies
  • Thursday: Essay on The Tempest by Shakespeare for English
  • Friday: Four mini-essays and a PowerPoint on Saxony for German class (Internet required)
So as you can see, I am in a pickle and pretty much booked for the next week. I have not started judging yet -- I'll admit that. I won't be able to until at least this weekend, if I can get back to the library to get your stories on a floppy so I can judge using my non-Internet computer.

I am sorry for the wait.

Real life is always more important than the
internet, no matter what's on it. You do your
(insane amount of) essays. I don't envy you
that workload at all.

Okay, here's the deal. I finally have time to judge, but not much. I will start reading when I submit this post, but once six o'clock hits, my focus switches to an entry for another writing contest. The same thing will happen tomorrow.

On Friday, I am leaving school at 1:00pm and traveling for an orientation for my foreign exchange. I will be in a hotel with my family that night, so I can put some stories on my AlphaSmart and judge them there. But Saturday night, I will be rooming with three other exchangers, and won't be able to judge. Sunday, I'll get home at around 6:00pm-ish, maybe later, and I'll have way too much on my mind to judge that night (especially if I find out which city I will be living in).

Then, I will resume judging on Monday and hopefully get it done then. No writing contest entries due that week, and I have an hour and a half-long free period in school that day, so I'll be able to kick some story butt.

End update. XD

Go Days! You can do it!

You sound so busy lately. D: I know how that is, 'cause I've only just finished judging my contest. Good luck with getting it all done - but don't burn yourself out! : D

Ugh, I know. With my computer issues, my essays, being diseased, exchange stuff -- it's getting really busy for me.

But starting next week, there are nine days of state testing, which means that I'll be sitting in one of my classes for two hours on two days, and an hour and a half on the other seven days. And next Friday's a half-day. But my senior project is due April 9th, and I still have to write about three essays for it. Meh.

I'll survive, though.

My schedule got really busy right when I needed it to be not-busy. I joined the school play, and ended up at school until eleven at night for nearly two weeks. We are hosting two adult South Korean women from my Rotary district's GSE team (most of you probably have no idea what that means...), so I had to help clean my house for them. Tomorrow, I will be leaving for a conference until Sunday night.

We have state testing at school Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I might print out the stories to judge then. Otherwise, I will judge them next weekend (unless my schedule ends up swamped again).

I'm sorry for the wait. I might raise the prizes because of it. I never intended for this to go on so long.
