======================== ========================
Blake stayed in his car as he awaited the young man’s return. Having a piano piece called 'This is Halloween' stuck in his head that he had learned from his grandmother in his head he began to hum it as he’d lightly tap his fingers onto the steering wheel. He also let out a few ‘da da da’s every now and then along to the music in his head. He felt totally free in his car. After humming a bit he began to search in his armrest for a CD. Finding it he put it into his radio. Desire teasing him to play the song aloud.  Now playing the hardcore version of the song, Blake happily sang along. Feeling a sense of happiness from the festive hardcore song, something still didn’t seem all the way, but he was trying to enjoy himself as much as he could. Tapping his hands on the wheel, singing along, even throwing in a few spooky voices when each character sang, and all while the music was on full blast. He had forgotten that he was at the Darling’s driveway. He was in his own little world. His own, dark, little world.

Blake was pulled back into reality when Atticus opened the car door. Jumping the older male went to turn down the music. He just smiled and shrugged at the boy’s words though. “Feed the animals? Do you have a zoo at your house?” Blake laughed towards the boy before he pulled out of the driveway. He was sure that a zoo wasn’t actually living deep within Atticus’ house, but seriously how many animals did the boy have if The Pumkin King go sucked into his own world in his car. It was a sad reality, but silly at the same time.

"So...this dance thingy do you really think I should go I mean I've never danced before and I don't think Freddie would like me I mean he's so handsome and I'm......... not." Blake chuckled softly at the word ‘thingy’. It was just a funny word that Blake, himself, hadn’t heard since he was in middle school. If you could actually call it a word. “Yeah, dude. You should! Freddie’s gonna love you. I just know it and if things start to go a tad south than just chill with me and my friends. I’ll be there and I’ll even put in a good word for you if you wanted.” He told the young male as he gave him a quick look and wink before putting his eyes back on the road. It was adorable how nervous the boy was. Though Atticus really had nothing to be nervous about. As long as he was nice than surely Freddie would like the kid. The only problem would be if the younger boy played the shy card since Freddie would surely do that. It just wouldn't go very well if they were both quiet the whole time. "don't be so down on yourself dude. He's a single bachelor just begging to be graced with your adorable face, so don't give me that 'I'm not good looking' s**t cause you are, okay? Just believe in yourself. He'll be falling for you at 'hello'." Blake said bluntly, though he wasn't surprised about the boy's insecurity. He seemed like the type since he was so paranoid about asking Blake things. It was funny really, but Blake didn't mind it. He was pretty much use to it now.

As Blake continued to drive Atticus asked him a question that he couldn't help but chuckle softly. What did he want to do after high school. Sadly, it was also a mystery to Blake as well. "Not work at a stupid costume shop, that's for sure!" he laughed. Blake wanted to enjoy life after high school, but he had no idea what he wanted to do. His parents wanted him to do something totally weird. Anything horrifyingly weird and spooky, but Blake wasn't so sure if that was what he wanted. "Ya know what?" he began. "I don't even know." He said nonchalantly as his eyes stayed on the road. He began to think now. Though, nobody ever asked him about what he wanted, he had thought about it, but he didn't see a reason to put too much thought into it. But now someone actually cared enough to ask him, so what was it Blake wanted to do? "Ya know...I've thought about it, but never really thought about it." He stayed quiet for a bit as he attempted to come up with an answer. First, mentally asking himself about what he liked to do and  than coming up with all the possible job choices for that passion. "I think...I want to entertain. I don't know how, but I want to be in front of people and entertain. Sing mostly, but still, entertain all the same. Maybe some kind of theatre or band thing. I still wanna be creative and express myself, but...I doubt my parents are going to like that..." he said letting his voice trail off. "Unless you see me in a court room or something." he laughed quickly flashing Atticus a friendly smile. "Ha. Why? What are your plans in four years?"

After driving for about fifteen minutes, Blake came up to the shop and saw Lilith at the front doors. A quick smile appeared on his face. "We're here." he stated a but happily. Blake liked his job for the most part, but was never excited to be there like today. He just couldn't help but smiling. Parking, Blake smiled up at Lilith before turning back to Atticus. "Hey, be warned that people could be a little weird in there, okay, but they won't bother you. If anything, they'll bug me." and with that Blake stepped out of his car. Walking up to the front doors he wore the biggest smile. "Lili~" he sang as he got closer to her. His arms extended outward ready for that hug he had promised much earlier that day. "You ready to enter..HELL! Dun-Dun-Dun!" he asked her with a darkness behind his voice for affect. Smiling down to her he looked over to the other male than back to Lilith. "Atticus is gonna be hangin with us, okay? I hope you don't mind~" and with that he gave them both a quick smile before walking into his workplace. It was a hit slow at the moment, but the place was a bit of a mess in an area. Blake didn't care. It wasn't his problem for another 45 minutes.

Nodding her head at his inquiry that they were walking, She began to slowly move in a random direction since she wasn't exactly sure where they were going. All of a sudden, she felt her hand being engulfed in warmth. "Well, if we're going to take a romantic stroll, then that means I need your hand," Tate announced, grinning down at her. A light blush spread across her face and she looked away, waving at someone she just caught waving at her. She saw a couple people start whispering to each other. She rolled her eyes and wondered what they were coming up with now. She was sure that she was going to be asked questions tomorrow at school.

Tate led her out of the building and a few questions began running through her mind. Most of them pertaining to where they were going. After a moment, Tate asked her to save him a dance and she readily agreed, not minding at all. She actually quite liked the idea of dancing with Tate at the dance. She pushed any fantasies away before she could even think about them. It was never going to happen, her and Tate. Tate only thought of her as a friend, and it was more than likely going to stay that way. Who'd want to date her anyway? 'Don't think like that,' she scolded herself. A sad smile crossed her features before quickly fading into her regular, bubbly expression as Tate began to speak again. "Is that what the commotion was about? I thought someone died or that the police were escorting a a teacher out of the building for being a *****, but seriously? The dance caused a riot? That's stupid," Tate said. She chuckled at this and shook her head. Tate could be very blunt at times. He went on. "Well, in the whole mess of things... I'm glad you'll be there." He paused for a second before continuing. "And I'm glad you'll save me a dance. Let's hope it's a slow dance...ya know, unless you want to get down and dirty on me," he added with a snicker and a wink. Cora laughed along with him, taking a step closer and looked up at him through her lashes.

"But of course, Tate. Didn't you know that was my intention this whole time?" she asked flirtatiously, taking her thumb and rubbing it over his knuckles of his hand that was within hers. She was still teasing, of course, but she thought it was funny.

They finally got to a small diner and she felt like she didn't know Tate at all. She chuckled to herself, wondering why she didn't guess where they were going before. "So, I hope you're up for milkshakes! I know it's not a muffin, but still," he said to her before leading her into the diner. They walked over to a table and he pulled out her chair and she thanked him before sweeping her hair behind her as she sat down. He sat across from her and ordered a strawberry milkshake. She quickly ordered a cherry milkshake with a kind smile and polite thank you before looking back at Tate.

"Hey, Cora. When you going to cut your hair?" Tate asked with a teasing lit to his voice. She rolled her eyes. "Never!" she countered with a laugh.

They received their milkshakes and she unwrapped her straw and stuck it in her drink, taking a sip before spinning the straw between her fingers, amusing herself as they sat in silence for a moment. It was nice, not saying anything. She liked the idea of not having to fill the silence with idle talk. She took another drink of her milkshake as she looked up at Tate, who had adopted a serious expression. She paused, wondering why he looked so serious. "H-hey, Cora-" Tate paused, and Cora felt her heart rate speed up. What could he need? He looked down and she couldn't help but feel something important was about to happen..."Um...Maybe...We could go to the dance together?" The girl's eyes widened at the statement. 'That's the last thing I'd think he'd ask me,' she thought to herself. "Ya know, as friends, but together. I'll pick you up?"

Tate kept his gaze down as his cheeks turned a light shade of pink, and she was sure her cheeks were the same color. She blinked, unable to say anything for a moment. She shook herself out of her stupor and Felt a soft smile grace her lips as she reached across the table and pushed Tate's chin up so that he'd look at her. "I'd love to," she answered honestly. She took her fingers away from under his chin and folded them in front of her, taking another drink of her milkshake, her gaze not leaving his.

Alice had a little down time before Chesh would arrive. Letting out a sigh she headed towards the bathroom to take a shower. Showering was one of her favorite things to do, she often found herself doing so when she was stressed. The first day of school was hectic so it was good to feel the hot beads of water against her skin. She stayed in the shower for a good twenty minutes before getting out to pick out her clothes for shopping. Alice had worn a dress earlier but found shopping more comfortable in jeans. She pulled out her unicorn skinny jeans and quickly began piecing together her outfit. Pulling the dinosaur shirt over her head she went to work on her hair and makeup. She didn't really care for going all out so minimal effort was applied. After about another twenty minutes, she jumped on her bed when she heard her phone go off. It was a text from Chesh.

To: Alice
From: Chesh
MSG
: I'm coming over now. The baby is with Robbie. I really hope nothing bad happens D: see ya in a few!

Good. Chesh was on her way! A smile graced Alice's lips as she set her phone down and picked up her sketch pad. Alice had been working on this Cheshire Cat who's smile always remained. It reminded her of Ledi in most ways but she refused to show the girl until it was finished. She waited patiently for her friend to arrive; wondering how Robbie was going to handle Lexi. Lexi was adorable but a handful. As time ticked by she continued to shade the eyes of the cat....they were Ledi's eyes....

Hearing her friend's voice, Alice hid the sketch back in it's hiding place and jumped off the bed.
"Are you ready to go shopping!?" She exclaimed as she ran to greet her friend. Grabbing her bag with her wallet she slipped on her shoes and looked to her mother. "Mom we are going to take my car and go to the mall! Be home for dinner!" Her mother smiled and waved to the two of them as they left. Alice couldn't wait to get to the mall to buy dresses. Getting in the car she waited for Ledi to get in as well.

Leda grinned when Alice emerged from behind the door. Of course, Leda could've used the key but she knew it was best to be polite and knock in case anything happened.
"Im as ready as I'll ever be!"
The blue haired girl quickly made her way over to Alice's car, happy that she didn't have to be the one driving.
"Can we go through the short cut this time? I swear, this one is not illegal or dangerous!" She said with a smile. Having a love for exploring, Leda knew of several ways to get to the mall in record time; the only bad thing was that most ways were illegal or really dangerous to go through. Leda didn't care much for danger, or politics. "So are you going to ask Robbie to dance with you or do I have to pull a sneaky move to make you guys dance together?" She asked, a smirk on her face.

Leda knew that Alice was madly in love with Robbie, not like she would admit it though. So it was only natural that the sly and cunning Leda West come in and make the two dance. When she thought about it a bit more, what would happen to their friendship if they did become a couple? What would Leda be left to do? She didn't necissarily care for Oliver and his little group of friends, nor did she feel like  being with preps. it was quite the situation for the blue haired girl. Her eyes looked out the window, trying to imagine her own fantasy of dancing with Oliver. She shook her head, a semi sad smile on her face. Why would someone like him want to be with a girl like her? They were from totally different worlds.. But Leda knew she would find a way.

Slender fingers turned the dials on the dashboard to turn the radio on. Music always helped in situations such as this, though it was short lived as they reached the mall. Leda let out a sigh of relief, almost excited to think about dresses and not about her father and soon to be mother.

"Shortcut it is." Alice agreed as they turned down the windy road. This particular way cut off about fifteen minutes off their trip because they avoided all the lights and traffic. It was a more scenic route but cops never patrolled this road so they were able to speed. When Leda mentioned Robbie, Alice could feel the heat rising to her cheeks. "I'm sure he'll want to dance with all of his friends." She said sheepishly as they neared the mall. Alice knew that Leda would try to pull something sneaky because she just admitted to it. A sigh escaped her lips as she pulled into the parking lot for the mall. Pulling into a space close to the door, she cut the engine and her gaze fell on Leda. "I don't even think he realizes that I like him. He's so oblivious to things." Alice chuckled as she grabbed her bag. "Are you ready for shopping!? Now I want you to pick out the dress that you can't live without. Don't worry about price tags ok? Same goes for the rest of your outfit!" She wagged her finger at Leda before getting out of the car.

Shutting the car door behind her she waited for Leda to get out before locking the car. It was so sweet of her mother to offer to buy Leda's dress. Her mother knew what kind of background that the girl went through. "We need to think of ways to break up the Red Queen and your father." Alice pondered various scenarios. "I wish your father would date my mom." She said halfheartedly. The two of them would be perfect for each other but both of them had never really met. Taking Leda's hand she swayed it back and forth as they browsed the mall for dresses. "Where would you like to look first?" She said as they walked down the hall. Alice had a dress in mind that she'd seen in the window of Valero's but wanted Leda's opinion before purchasing it. Stopping in front of the store she turned to Leda with a mischievous grin. "I'm going to buy my dress now. I already have my accessories to go with; all I was missing was the dress!" She smiled brightly before dragging her friend inside. "I'm going to try it on for you, tell me what you think?" Alice smiled coyly at Leda before grabbing her dress and disappearing behind the dressing room. Moments later Alice appeared from behind the door wearing the dress she had chosen. Looking to Leda with a bright smile she did a little turn to show her friend the dress. "What do you think? Do you think Robbie will like it?" Alice could feel the blush forming on her cheeks as the question left her lips. Perhaps at the dance he could finally see past the friend zone?

"But of course, Tate. Didn't you know that was my intention this whole time?" Tate couldn’t help but let out a slight laugh. It was nice to know that the girl could share a good sense of humor. It was difficult to find that in girls sometimes since they were usually so easily offended and if you said the wrong thing about anything than you’d get a permanent red hand print on your face. That’s just how most girls at the school worked and Tate dealt with it. Mostly because he didn’t associate with those kinds of people. Tate didn’t need people like that in his life. People who came with negativity were bad for him. “I figured as much. Who could resist me?” He said swiftly as they continued to walk. Seeing the blonde wave to everyone in her range made him smile, but sad inside a bit. Tate wondered how she was like that. She was always so happy and she knew everyone and everyone knew her. It was a bit strange, for sure, but he just tried to be happy with it. All that mattered was that she was here. She wasn’t leaving his side to ditch him for someone better, which happened more than he’d like to admit. Maybe it added to his cutting problem? No. That was all his father. He wasn’t depressed. Tate Andrew Nix was perfectly fine. A normal, semi-rebellious teenager who might have a small crush…might…

Getting to the small diner Tate pulled the chair out for Cora and than sat down himself. Taking a few sips of his milkshake as they spoke. First he threw a bit of jokes her way. Asking her when she’d be cutting her hair, though he knew the answer before she even stated it. “Really? Never ever?” He asked her in the tone of a four year old. “What if you’re walking and you trip over it? Or if it grows so long that it gets a mind of it’s own and plots your demise? Huh? Than what? Would you cut it then, Cora?” He asked her as he held in his small snickers and chuckles. Tate wasn’t the ‘class clown’ or ‘overly funny’ type of guy, but a joke here and there was totally normal, though he always had to make a stupid joke before moving onto a touchy subject or just one that was a bit serious.

"H-hey, Cora-…Um...Maybe...We could go to the dance together? Ya know, as friends, but together. I'll pick you up?" His gaze was down. He couldn’t look in her direction. His cheeks turning a deep crimson as he awaited for her answer. Did he creep her out? Did he cross a line that he shouldn’t have? Sitting in his seat he slowly slipped his hands into his pocket. The fingertips of his right hand brushing against the blade made him easy up a bit. Sadly, Mufasa was Tate’s escape from harsh reality, but he didn’t need it. He wasn’t morning over his dad, so why was it so comforting right now? As he calmed down he felt Cora’s soft hands lift his face up to see her. His cheeks still in blush she agreed. He was a bit shocked. His eyes widened slightly and his jaw dropping a bit. “R-really?” He asked her a bit in disbelief. Noticing he must look like an idiot. Tate sat up straight and cleared his throat. “Well, I expected as much.” He picked up the shake and sipped a bit up without using the straw, leaving a light pink mustache above his upper lip. “I mean, who can deny me, right?” He asked with a small chuckle to follow it up. But it was clear. Maybe he was growing some kind of feeling toward Cora. Why…he wasn’t sure, but there wasn’t anything about her that he didn’t like. She was kind, funny, and she understood him. Well…everything, but Mufasa, but still. He’d tell her eventually.

“Soooo, Cora.” Tate began, now swirling around what was left of his shake with the plastic straw as his gaze lay upon it. “A lucky guy caught your eye yet?” He asked her now giving her a quick wink to follow it up. Sure, it was none of his business, but he wanted to know if he had some kind of competition to deal with. “If you do. Do I know him and how do I set you two up?”

Lexi, where are you?” He heard her voice from somewhere, but where did she run off to? That was the mystery that Robert had to solve. He promised his friend that he was going to watch the little girl, so if he was going to keep his promise than he couldn’t lost little baby Chesh. The last thing he wanted was to not succeed on something he actually thought he was good at. Robbie thought he was a great babysitter, especially with the handful Herman was. Robert always got a good hair ruffle and a ‘good job’ after each job and he wanted that again, but worse than disappointing himself, Robert wanted to make the Robinson’s happy and he wanted Leda to know that she didn’t make a mistake in giving Robbie the task of watching her little sister.

Looking back at the baby in the playpen obbie smile at him. “Now, you stay right here, Baby Herman. Uncle Robbie will be right back okay?” Laughing, Herman picked up a stuffed rabbit and threw it at Robbie’s face. Robert just giggled as it bounced off his face and back in the playpen. “I’ll take that as a ‘yes’!” And with that Robbert went running around the house to look for Lexi. “Lexiiiiii! Where arrrrre yooooou?” He called for her as he continued to run around the house. He even found himself tripping a bit as he ran, but he didn’t fall to the ground as he continued to keep himself up. After running a bit he passed up Lexi. “Lexi!”, but when he tried to stop himself to turn around he fell gto the ground. Looking up he saw Lexi with double vision. His eyes spinning a bit before he shook his head like a cartoon character. Jumping up to his feet he smiled down to her. “Lexi. Please don’t run off like that. I got soooooooo worried.” He than began to giggle. "Let’s go do something. Wanna bake some cookies? I love cookies! All different kinds of cookies! Chocolate, sugar, iced, fudge, ice- OH! Or we could play a game! Wanna play a game, cause we could do that! That’d be be fun right? You, me, Herman! Or maybe we could color or something! Hahaha, what do you wanna do Lexi? Huh? Huh? Huh?” Robbert found himself bouncing up and down in front of the girl now, but it wasn’t for long.

“Oh! What’s that?!?” He than ran to the wall behind the girl to see something abnormally colorful, but it was just a glass prism. He smiled. “Oh! Hahaha, it’s just the rainbow. You see the rainbow, Lexi? Hahaha, I like it. It’s really pretty. Maybe that’s why Carol brought it. She knows I love colors!” Turning back to the small girl he held his hand out for her to take. “So, what do you wanna do, Lexi! Your wish is my command!”

The teen was spacing out just a bit, remembering Oliver slipping the drugs into his back pack. He'd skipped the easy stereo typical marijuana and gone straight hard core for X. It made him feel good inside but the effects of it were starting to wear off. He couldn't wait to hang out with Oliver and just pop a few pills. A slight smile came onto his face as he fixed his sunglasses so they rested properly on his face.
"Don't see why you guys still couldn't hang with us. Oogie finds you guys pretty cool." he replied to the twins just before Oliver made his appearance.
"Hey again, Oogie." Noah said, a devilish grin on his face. His silver eyes hidden behind sun glasses watched as Oogie sealed some drus to a guy, dodger was it? It didn't really matter  much to the teen, seeing as how he already had his drugs. The affects were starting to wear off, making him feel agitated an jumpy. Maybe if he popped a few pills at Oliver's, he's calm down. Pills were his go-to thing and as long as he didn't go too far off the deep end, Oliver would put up with him.

After Oliver finished dealing, the pair headed to his car. Hitching a ride with Oogie was better than driving his own car. Noah took out his phone, texting the head maid to come to the school and drop it off at Oliver's if he wanted to drive home. After he was seated  in the passengers seat, Noah took off his sun glasses. Okay, so it wasn't the smartest move considering how bright it was, but it's what he chose to do. Once they were driving, his eyes watched his friend light a joint and pas it to himself. Noah wasn't the biggest fan of them, but hey who was going to pass that up? The teen took a few hits, already feeling the usual high come on. It was better for him to deal with people when he was a bit ******** up than when he was sober as ever.
"Thanks, Oogie." he replied, passing the joint back to Oliver.

As they arrived at oogie's  house, Noah couldn't help but grin. This place was like his second home. No, it WAS his second home. As he followed Oliver inside, he grabbed his backpack. Noah headed directly towards the den, wanting to take a few drugs before speaking to anyone. He checked his wallet, taking out the usual  amount and slipped it somewhere he knew that Oliver would find it. After that, Noah grabbed the bag from his backpack and went to go pop his pills.

"Yeah, but who knows. Maybe I'll find an amazing guy and spend the entire night with him and force you and rabbit to dance together the entire night~" Leda countered with a slight smirk on her face. The thoughts of Robbie and Alice dating hurt her a bit, wondering what would happen when, or if,they broke up. She had known Alice longer, but Robbie.. Robbie was one of her best friends ever. "Robbie is out special little rabbit. We have to give him time to realize it.. Or I could just dare him to kiss you in a spin the bottle type game

Leda looked back to Alice, a wild grin on her face. No one had to tell her twice about the rules of shopping.
"Yes yes, I will little Alice."
The blue haired girl hopped out of the car, happy as could be. A smile spread across her face as she was pulled by her best friend into the mall.
"I find that making the Red queen mad is absolutely positively fun. But if only my father would listen to me long enough to even meet your mother.. It's like a match made in wonderland with them!" The blue haired girl exclaimed. Sometimes it made her so mad that her father ignored her.  Let's see how long it would take her father to notice that his two "precious kittens" aren't at home. Perhaps he would finally go to Alice's.. Leda abandoned the thought.

Her best friend pulled Chesh into some shop, a high class one at that. The girl took a seat, waiting for the blond to come out. When Alice did, she couldn't help but gasp. The dress was breath taking; absolutely stunning.
"Ally, that dress was made for you" Leda grinned, giving two thumbs up. "Robbie will love you for sure."

Lexi had allowed Robbie to find her, knowing that this guy was special to her big sister. She looked up at the older make with the most adorable sad face she could do.
"I'm sowwy rabbit. I didn't mean to make you worry.. I only wanted to play with you.." she fake sniffled. Well, no one had ever said that the young girl wasn't as delusional as her older sister. At the mere mention of cookies, The young brunette began to bounce up and down in joy.
"Cookies cookies cookies! Le-Le always makes cookies with me!" Lexi said, already running back down the hall. She stopped abruptly, knowing that she was forgetting someone. Walking back, she grabbed Robbie's hand and began tugging the older make towards the kitchen.
"Can we make cookies, rabbit?"

"Well, some go this way, and some go that way. But as for me, myself, personally, I prefer the short-cut."
