A great many years ago, in a land once drenched in sun and warmth, a woman and her husband lived atop a hill looking over a beautiful forest. At the edge of the forest was a small town still in its very early stages. One day Vincent, the loving husband and soon to be father, went out to hunt but never came home. The day after he left the countryside grew deathly cold, and for the first time in history, it snowed on the sun drenched earth. Many months passed, and the child was born. The child, Victor, died only days after birth. Persephone, after having lost her husband and son, wandered out into the unforgiving cold, unprotected. She wondered in a daze, eventually giving into her fate, she died only a few short feet from finding her husband’s body. Her soul does not rest, and she haunts the land. She will forever search the forest for her one true love. For many years after the first snow falls the town was empty, but slowly people began to inhabit the area.


By now the village has been deserted and turned to ruin. But just beyond the dead village a school stands proud and tall. The quality of magical education is unmatched, which seems to be the only thing keeping life in this unforgiving place. The cold never lifts and the snow is always thick, but to those who have grown accustom, the only thing unpleasant about the snow is its sad story.

It is my pleasure to inform you that you have been accepted into Ice Valley Magical University. You have been selected out of thousands of applicants to attend this prestigious school, for that I congratulate you. Before you arrival I expect every student to be fully prepared. The Magic you will be studying here will far surpass any magical class you have ever taken. Many of our graduates have gone on to become some of the most powerful people in the free world, I hope you will do the same. The journey is yours to take. Everything you need to succeed will be shown to you at This school. But that does not mean you will not be working for it.





School rules
-No one is permitted to leave the school ground alone
-No one is permitted to leave the town(or go into the forest)
-School uniforms must be worn during class hours(8am-3pm)*
-All students are expected to wear proper winter clothes when going outside*
-Recreational rooms are only for use before or after school hours*
-Lights go out at exactly 10:00 all Nights prior to school*
-Breakfast will be served from 6 to 7:30
-Lunch will be served exactly at Noon
-Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM sharp*
-All students must attend dinner.*
-Alcohol will only be served to those in college, and over the age of 18.*
-Sunday dinner is formal. every other evening is semi-formal.
-Boys and Girls are not allowed in one another’s dorms after 9:00pm
-Those who fall below a 3.50 GPA will be on Academic Probation, those who fall below 3.25 will be asked to leave.*
-The Practice of powerful, possibly explosive magic is not permitted within the building.
-Smoking is only permitted far from all entrances and exits, OUTSIDE.

School Layout
The front building of the school is the living area. On the first floor are the dorms 3 people to a dorm. Each dorm is decorated so beautifully it would be fitting to royalty. There are 2 mass bathrooms which despite what you might think, are gorgeous. And of course the men and the women have their own bathing rooms. Each bathing room is equipped with a multitude of showers and one large bath the size of the swimming pool. Recreational rooms are on the higher floors, including music rooms, libraries, game rooms, and exercise rooms. This also includes a school run tea shop(they sell any drink but mainly have teas), a bakery, and a few other handy shops. The Dining hall in also on the main floor and in a LARGE room more beautifully adorned than any other room in the school. The tables are all set with the finest china, and meals are served magically. When the head mistress casts the spell food appears magically on your plate, and is EXACTLY what you are craving even if you didn’t know what you wanted. The school is surrounded by a large brick fence, which means the only exit is the front door. There is a large building in the back which is attached to the main body of the school by a narrow hall way. The outside in closed area is known as the court yard and is pretty barren except for a few empty trees, some benches and some pretty ice covered statues. A path way is kept clear from the school to the living area since the hall is too small for all the students to pass through in a timely manner. The class rooms are plentiful and all very elegant.

We will take care of the problem for you. We want you to ENJOY this roleplay and feel it is a safe place for you to come and relax at the end of the day.

~You are not allergic to sunlight, it does nothing worse to you then a human...except you burn easier.
~Garlic is good on pizza and doesn't do anything to you except maybe give you bad breath.
~you do not need blood to live, you enjoy blood but you eat normal food just ALOT more then most humans
~You can die just not of natural causes. A stake through the heart will kill you, not because its a stake but because its piercing your heart!
~You are subject to The Cain Family's word control eg: they order kneel and your body if forced to kneel magically ((This is in place to keep you power hungry vampires under control! I do NOT want to have to use this!))


*If you are a were(of any type) you are must follow these guidelines:
~You do not turn into a big hairy beast when the full moon is out and full
~You are immortal but can die just not of natural causes
~You can turn into a much larger version of your animal, and a normal sized version.

Dinah smiled watching her kids jam. It would be the last time she would see it for a while with school starting again. It was lovely to have her students back but she would miss watching this. But then again she would miss her baby this year too. Oh why did they grow up. She gave a heavy sigh and nodded to the bunch who were waiting for the okay to start playing. As each of them started playing her heart jumped. Why they had to play so loud still confused her. The woman was sure that the whole building was eminating with the sound, soon there would be a crowd. Her eyes popped open though as she heard Keiri start singing! WHAT was she saying?

As they started to play, Keiri on the guitar, Kraig on drums, Lorin playing piano and singing backup, Rain on the bass, Keiri felt super charged. This was her year! This year she started! She was finally old enough to start LIVING life! With a lusty and punky look on her face she began to sing. Her pretty alto rang out. "Hello Hello little boys, little toys
We’re the dreams you'll believe in
Crawling up the walls
Running down your face
Razor sharp, razor clean

With loaded guns" She danced around slightly as she sang. This song was her song. She had written it wanting for once to feel sexy. God this felt so good!

Rain plucked on the strings as she watched her baby sister rocking it. It was a good feeling but she dreaded her part! Why did she have to sing anything. She always had been the shy one about singing. But this wasn't for her so much as it was for Keiri. Poor thing had never had to chance to do anything and things were gonna be hard for her, what with looking like something out of a bad fairy tail. She gave her sister an encouraging smile and continued plucking away. It was a fun song, she had to give it that. But the name. Le Disko. God that seemed a bit odd to her.

Lorin smiled singing back up for is dear sister. She was having a ball. He could tell that. And if this was all it took for her to smile that way, well that was even better. He only wished he could be as happy as she is. But coming out, would that make him happy? Would a man really fufill him? Some part of his doubted it. Why bother with all the drama of it?He closed his eyes as his fingers danced on the keys and his voice echoed in the background.

Kraig smirked from behind his drums. This was a memorable day. His baby sister was starting college. She was old enough to date, and to be in a dorm as apposed to one of the rooms they grew up in. To be here after what they had all been through still amazed him. Especially Keiri. How they had kept her alive as a new born he will never know. But he thanked god they had. She was really growing into a strong young woman. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself as he watched her dance though. God is was funny! That tail moving as always. This was going to be one hell of a year.

The start of a new year. Lady Audrey hopped off from her stool by the window and held her small hand up to her mouth, blowing on her fingers to warm them. She still hadn't gotten used to the cold at Ice Valley. She had been working with Lady Dianah for decades, but the constant cold got to her. No changing season, just cold.

Audrey liked to watch the students arrive. They were always so happy to be there. Some were small, some were large, and every year she scanned the students for someone with a face like hers. Someone who knew what it was like to be trapped.

She sighed and rubbed the bridge of her nose. She heard the Czars playing, and smiled. The Czars loved her as an aunt, no matter how she looked. Lady Audrey followed the music until she found them. She took her place next to Lady Dianah.

"Your children are amazing as ever, My Lady.", Lady Audrey said with a smile.

Darla was early. She loved to be early, especially when it was something she was excited for. And as soon as she stepped into the area of cold winter air, she knew she was in the right place. The air caught in her lungs and snowflakes stuck to her lashes. And the best part was, she wasn't even the one to create this winter. It was as if she was destined to be here.

"Home, sweet home", she whispered, as she took in the icey wonderland before her. "Now hopefully there will be a honey here waiting for me with open arms. I sure hope he's handsome..."

Darla began to daydream as she walked closer to her new school. What kind of men would be here? Someone for her? Maybe he would have an accent. Oh, and blue eyes. A man wasn't worth looking at unless his eyes were cold and blue like winter herself.

She let her staff swing at her side, and she occasionally drew icey patterns in the fluffy snow as she walked. Darla had never been happier.

Dinah smiled gentle at her dear friend. "Thank you Lady Aubrey. They have spent most of the summer playing, though I'm sure that comes as no surprise. How did you spend your vacation, my dear friend?" the brunette asked as the music finally came to a halt.

She turned her face to her children once more and clapped happily. "That sounded superb!" she chimed. As the four began muttering thanks and talking about subtle changes the woman turned back to her childlike friend.

It was good to have her friend back especially with her youngest starting college this year. It would be almost impossible to handle without her best friend. She had been the one to encourage her when she wanted to adopt. And to the kids she was an aunt. Dinah couldn't imagine life without her.

Keiri's ears perked at the sound of Aunty Aubrey's voice as she spoke with her siblings. Her eyes grew wide and a huge goofy grin spread across her face. "AUNTY AUBREY!!!!!!!!!" the blue girl called out as she excitedly pulled off her guitar and threw it into Kraig's arms. She turned on a dime and ran, full tilt, at her very small aunt. As soon as she grew close enough she threw her arms around and scooped up the little girl. Spinning around she kissed her cheek!

"I missed you!" she chimed as she put her aunt down from what had become the usual longterm greeting since she grew to be big enough. Her ears stayed perked and her tail standing in a slight s curve the very tip hooked.

When she head her mother and siblings laughing she joined in! It was always happy when the whole family was back together.
