Walking along the entrance to the party room, Tish kept having to adjust her gun holsters. She had to have Adrian and a few others from her team explain the big hype of this "Halloween" that the humans enjoyed every year as a holiday. It was rather confusing to the succubus why people would want to dress up as underworlders... but then again, it was strange for underworlders to take on a human form. So she came to a mute point to dress up as something that was out of the ordinary for her.

The first thing the knight did was go directly to the food tables. She had spent most of the day shopping and figuring out what to do for this party that she had forgotten to eat, and it showed by the amount of thins she piled on her plate. Of course, Tish got her usual assortment of the spicy foods, but also got some regular, not spicy, not sweet, items. With a happy sigh, and a few sandwiches down, the girl turned about and looked for someone she knew before spotting Takashi, Mikoto, and Adrian.

Walking across the room, Morticia continued to eat small finger sandwiches with her tail swaying happily, and trail of fire following. "Adrian!" Her greeting was almost bubbly as she waved a hand with a sandwich in it at her king. Finally closing the gap between her and the group, she smiled at the other members. "Takashi, Mikoto. You guys all have nice costumes." The knight looked at the other female in the group, still smiling. "Yours is cute, Mikoto. It suits you." Glancing at Takashi, she noticed the look he was giving and gave him a smile as well while she signed "It's okay. I've caught on quickly with sign if you need can't speak."

Clipping the bead into her hair, Marci finally stood up and put her ear and head fins on. It had taken quite a while to complete the outfit, but gods was it worth it! The vaporeon costume was the perfect fit for the water nymph, and she couldn't be happier with how it turned out. She looked at the clock, and shouted before rushing around the room to find her sandals and tail before putting them on and looking at the clock again. Opening her door and bolting out, she knocked over Gabriel who had just arrived to pick her up. "I-i'm sorry i'm late. You haven't been here long, have you?" She sat up, not realizing she was still on top of the rook until she looked down, face blushing red.

Haruto sighed as he looked at his hair in the mirror "but why purple cat!" he welled from the bathroom as kanade's voice carried into the room "because I said so doggy" she says as if that was enogh he sighed and hung his head it was to late now she had dyed his hair in the night while he slept in an attempt to make him look better "its holloween doggy you have to dress up" she says he rolled his eyes "but purple!" he eventually got over it and put on the purple an white twshirt with wing holes and did soemthign to make his hair look somewhat decent pulling on bluer jeans he walked ut and sighed at kanade who as usual was in the magical school girl outfit he piuted a bit "if I have to dress up so do you" she tilted he head at him "i did this is limited edition" she says shakeing the wand in his face the small etching on it was all theat seemed different the the one she wore he rolled his eyes "ok whatever can we just go now?" she nodded and they got in her car ariveing at the school haru walked into the event area and sighed just kinda milling about while kanade made a point to go straight for Adrian and the team

A slow fog began to roll out of the building that Johnathan was "slumming" it in, until the door opened. The fog was think around the door frame, but a figure could be seen moving through it. The sound of metal against metal pierced the air as sparks flew before the figure emerged. It turned out to be Johnathan in a set of very elaborate and exotic looking armor, the mist that seemed to follow him was being generated by the very fine, nearly transparent cloth that clung to him like a cape. Attempts to touch it would yield little, almost like trying to grab the very mist itself as it moved around with little to no wind to make it do so.

It took Johnathan a few seconds to realize that Misaka was waiting for him outside the building, he turned to her as his eyes had little life in them and betrayed total emptiness of being. " Your persistence is something to be admired, you will have your answer before the party concludes. Shall we be on our way, My lady?" Johnathan's usual cadence was completely different, as he was engrossed in the persona that he assigned the armor in his mind. One of his main objectives for the Halloween party was to meet with the king that commanded Vethorn and Thorgrimr. He had passed their test which was scheduled before Misaka's impromptu test but came after it, the next day. Johnathan hoped that once he met the other king, learned of those he would fight along side, from both of them, he would have all he needed to make the call for whom he would join.

"Yeah, I'm surprised you got the reference to be completely honest, but yeah... not that I dressed as him or anything, don't like the guy... like I got so angry when he..... um, yeah I'm rambling but back to the point I just caught my reflection on the way over here and thought I looked a little like him, it was a silly reference. Just ignore me. Please" he came to stop, finally, biting his lip as he tried to regain some of his composure, before the rest of the team turned up. Luckily the first person who arrived was Mikoto who was sporting quite an adorable little pikachu outfit that just was asking to be aww'd at. Particularly as her appearance had gotten in the way of Takashi making an even bigger fool of himself. "Very cute" the Musician smiled just before more members joined the small group that had gathered.
Second to arrive was Morticia, who's large unnatural orbs stared into his soul as her beautiful locks bounced across her shoulders. If Adrian was a Demi-God then Morticia was a Goddess. He gulped, suddenly feeling anxious, that much so that not even the cute Mikoto was enough to distract him. The pawns cheeks reddened, to the point that it became the same colour as his costume. "Okay, now you made a fool of yourself in front of Adrian, like a complete pro... but this time should we try something cooler, more relaxed. Just say that her outfit is cool and she looks nice in it. Nothing else, got it", ah here it was again, that voice in the back of his head that always mocked him for being foolish. The problem was that that voice and his mouth never listened to each other, so of course he just simply blurted out to Morticia "You look very sexy in that costume" he could feel the face five his mind made.

The slap that connected with the back of Vethorn's head was satisfying, and made a perfect noise that echoed across the apartment. The head wip the Knight suffered was that bad that it nearly knocked his glasses from his face."You mutt, why did you buy me such a ridiculous Halloween costume" she placed her hands upon her hips as she stared at the man who was now rubbing the back of his hair, and checking that his cat ears hadn't been knocked out of position. "Sorry my King" he murmured as he bowed low to the Queen of Kings who was glaring at him like she was considering setting him on fire for his insolent, luckily enough though Thorgrimr then appeared and her attention drifted from Hugin to Munin.

"Come on, let's go... there's being fashionably late and then just being plain late" she told the too as she turned around on her heels and made her way out of the apartment and to the event hall. On arrival she noted that Tyler, who was looking rather handsome, was stood outside, obviously waiting for them. "Well Vethorn are you going to introduce us?" she asked as the Knight finally caught up with her, adjusting his shirt so he looked more presentable as he arrived beside the other Knight "Tyler Augustine, may I introduce you to the Queen of Kings Clara Lussier" Vethorn announced in his most noble voice.

"WHY ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?

Sera stared over her shoulder at her brother Zeki, who for once was behaving. He was always like this when he was around Kenshin, or even in the same room as their older brother. He just started to suppress all his urges, would become almost docile. It boring really, but Sera sort of understand why he transformed so drastically when he was around the Inhuman King. After all Zeki got in trouble with big brother most often, and last night Kenshin had been less than impressed to see what had happened in his absence. He had gotten scary. Sera shivered, and shook off the feeling. The sanguine queen didn't want to think about last night. She didn't like being sad, and anyways Ki had been an idiot.

"Who do you want to talk to first?" she questioned as she dug her thumb into the sandwich, stabbing the piece of bread and killing it dead. A ooze of butter escaped the confines of the sandwich, leaking out like blood as her eyes darted over to Tiffany and Desini "Perhaps them?" she questioned before turning back to the buffet table and shooting Adrian's group a glance "Or should we go ambush them instead?" she added with a sadistic grin.

The Inhuman King

Kenshin offered his arm to Zoe so he could lead her through the party. In environments like this, with the noise and the hum of activity the oldest of the sisters struggled to figure out her environment. Her keen instincts and sense of hearing were useless in a party, and the Inhuman King had sworn that he would escort her to make sure she didn't end up just standing around through the entire event. Which wasn't any trouble to the eldest Rhodes as no acting was needed around Zoe, who was one of the only people he didn't need to put up an act around.

Making sure that she didn't bump into anyone Kenshin led her through the few people who had already gathered and approached Amelia, who he hadn't seen since the incident, and Izek who he had never met in person before. He dragged his feet until he was stood before them both "Amelia I would like to introduce you to Zoe Quinn, my sister" perhaps he should of started off with asking her if she felt better. Not that it mattered he had spoken already, and he presumed he could ask her later, perhaps when the Untouchable King wasn't around "I do not believe we have been introduced, I am Kenshin Rhodes" he didn't even bother to fake a polite tone as the gas mask mutated it that much that it wouldn't make a difference anyways, however he did pull his hand momentarily from Zoe's grip and offer the rank one a hand shake.

Zoe gave the duo a curtsey as she introduced herself to Amelia and Izek. "Pleasure to meet you all. I am Zoe Quinn." she said as she gave out a fake smile underneath the helmet, just like Kensin had done so many times before. It was something the Rhodes family were very good at, polite pretending. She hooked her arm back into Kenshins arm, as the noise level of the party was so loud that she had troubles sensing what was going on around her. In the arena she was confident, the roar of the crowd she could block out and she could sense her opponent. However, here at the party, the music was too loud and there was too many people walking around. So she ended up just clinging onto the arm of the oldest Rhodes. "I am sorry but due to my sight not working I cannot complement you on your costumes.. Can I be as bold as to ask what you have dressed up as?" she asked, still wearing a fake smile under the helmet even though it was impossible to see her face.

Stood in the corner, observing everything. The students dressed as monsters, the teachers dressed up as pirates. His siblings mingling with other students and probably being seconds away from causing an accident. The usually tough big sister clinging onto Big Brother in an attempt not to accidentally cause a scene. "Waste of time.." he huffed as he scribbled in his book.

Like the little mouse he was dressed up as Thorgrimr, cautiously followed after his King and his friend the Knight. His nose twitching as the whiskers tickled it, though it might have looked more like he had caught the scent of cheese. However as long as Clara didn't scold him he was happy, after all he was indirect responsible for the costume she was wearing. It was Vethorn who had picked it out but Clara did not care, in her eyes they were both responsible and he was sure that at some point he would receive his punishment.

As the arrived at the party they met up with T.J, who looked mighty scary indeed. He gave the Knight a nod as his BFF introduced him to Clara.

Sat down at a table, drinking some crappy punch he had found. It probably was made to look scary and that it was supposed to look like blood. Hah. Blood had a much better taste than that crap. Thankfully he always carried a hipflask with some strong home made alcohol in it. That way he could at least get drunk.

Thats when he saw her.

His heart tried to escape his chest as the sight of the fair Aerya met his eyes. He could not help himself as his inner beast got released with a might howl. He hammered the table and whistled at the beautiful woman who seemed to be to focused on the broody pirate.

"It wasn't a silly reference; why would I ignore you?" he chuckled, smiling warmly at the embarrassed pawn. It hadn't taken long to get used to Takashi's nervous habits, the poor boy always seemed to jump to the conclusion that no one was really interested in what he had to say. In addition to this he had an astounding ability to say the wrong thing at the wrong time, to the point where Adrian had briefly pondered whether that might actually be another latent ability.
Actually, this isn't so bad... the King thought to himself, relaxing a little more and beginning to enjoy the party atmosphere. It wasn't so bad at the moment, the hall wasn't too crowded, the music was at a tolerable level and no one was trying to pick fights... yet.

That was when Morticia arrived, her honeyed voice calling out his name as she moved, with grace, across the room towards the trio; offering compliments all round and even going as far as to sign to Takashi.
"Nearly..." Adrian said as he stepped towards her. Taking her hands in his and gently manoeuvring her fingers so they were in the correction position for the word "speak", "There, perfect." he concluded with a smile.
It was then that he found himself gazing into those marvellous large, doe-eyes.
Did everything just stop?

As if someone had rebooted his brain, Adrian jerked a little, releasing her hands, averting his gaze and going a rather deep shade of pink.
"S-sorry... I... Uh... I..."
And... typical, his voice chose now, of all times, to run away; leaving him stuttering like a fool. Sighing, Adrian dared to glance back into those eyes, giving a very embarrassed smile and signing:
"You look beautiful."

Gabriel looked up and was simply blown away as he saw marci,she looked beautiful as the water Pokemon,his race turning red despite the fact it was cold out and his Goku costume was lacking a certain top half of clothing,his super saiyan hair stood high "you,look great,I mean beautiful....I mean...DAMN IT...I'm a moron,but no I only got here about five minutes ago,anyway should we go" he said gesturing to his sisters lovely red sports bike he had borrowed for the evening "you can hold on to me can't you?".

Kira didn't quite know what to do as a boy she didn't know asked her if she wanted a drink,did he know her before? Was he her friend?,wait he could have been her boy friend!,the red queen turned the same shade as her hair unfortunately causing his cig to burn down to the tab "urm,yeah a drink sounds good,sorry for doing that I didn't mean to......by the way I don't really remember who you are" she was still blushing as she spoke again "are we friends?,or something?" her face as red as her hair as she spoke still.

Misaka listened as smashem spoke letting out a slight giggle before pointing to her little yellow car "oh a bit full of yourself I see in your fancy outfit,just get in,you can make your choice when you get there,though I should tell you,in our little test if I hadn't held back you would have died from my first shot.....bear that in mind when your showing off",the pair entered the car before driving to the party,as the pair entered she simply walked off to go get her sister,misaka was also sporting the Pokemon costume though hers was a little brighter.

Mikoto was about to respond when she was grabbed and yanked out of the group,her voice carrying on as she was pulled away "your costumes are all very wonderful,Mikoto states hiding her jealousy at the sight of Tisha in her rather flirtatious state,also thank you,though I do not understand why I am cute,my sister simply forced me in to this" her deadpan monotone slowly fading as she was pulled further from the group by misaka "oh hello sister what can I do for,,,,,,please stop shocking me it's a little,,,irkkgkgfjddhxdh",Mikoto fell to the ground and started spasming around misaka stood over her grinning "pukachu baby,next time pay for your own dates,or at least ask first".

Izek smiled as Amelia spoke of her fondness for Alice,his features portraying that he was glad to hear it from her "it's wonderful to hear someone else enjoys reading,I find most people in this school tend to be less interested in reading and more interested in beating each other half to death,one of my favourite stories is an old book I picked up that was penned by an author known as Nicholas Diablo,it was snook named tales of the damned",he managed to add one last scentence in before kenshin arrived "what I would like to know Is you and what your likes and dislikes are,I would love the chance to know you",the inhuman King arrived and Izek raised an eyebrow as he looked at the man,taking the hand offered to him the rank one spoke "it's a pleasure to meet you both,your biker costume is very good miss Quinn,and you look extremely terrifying inhuman,looking that terrifying you may get to take me on sometime soon".

James shrugged and caused the cross to float behind him using his ability,"thanks,glad you like it,yours looks great,,,,,suppose we should go,my first party so I'm gonna try to keep in control",the pair left and about 20 minutes later they arrived,the cross still floating behind him as they entered the party,his eyes shifted about a little before he smirked,his teeth starting to show "this looks great".

Tiffany was stood there looking rather moody when she spotted the twins playing around,swallowing her chicken she smiled at them "hey you two,wanna have some fun?,how's about you go see if you can pick the coolest costumed people and make em get on stage for the costume contest" she had been asked to do this by the teachers but getting someone else to do it could be easier.

Aerya wrung her hands, awkwardly offering the broody professor more unsolicited sideways glances, as she tried to build up the nerve to approach him. Maybe if he didn't look so frustrated this would be an easier task. The biologist didn't need to use her pain transferral to figure out he was suffering from a migraine; his facial expression was enough to give it away.
Maybe if I just...?
Using her abilities she careful manipulated the water within his body to induce an effect similar to a cold compress across the back of Davan's neck and his forehead which would, hopefully, help sooth the aching.

As she continued to focus attention on the broody professor, Aerya felt the lecherous gaze of LeGioN Lee John upon her, causing her to shudder. The banging of his fists upon the table, along with the howling, were unwelcome additions to the, already unwanted attention. Her expression one of discomfort, Aerya moved a little to put a bit more distance between herself and the art teacher and found herself suddenly regretting having decided to costume up for this party.
Maybe I should go get my cloak... she contemplated silently.

Koneko was on cloud nine as she clung to the arm of her boyfriend. They were going to a party together... They're third date finally, which meant one thing...
My Kenshin... she sighed blissfully, cuddling further into him as they walked towards the school grounds. There was nothing that could ruin this night for her, not even the fact that she had to share his attention with the other, less deserving, family members. Finally, they entered the event hall, the twins immediately running to the buffet table and Leon skulking off into a corner.

"Koneko, remember what we talked about."

The request caused her to stir, opening her eyes to glare up at the man she adored and gave him a sulky nod; though the coughing that followed his request caused her to relax once more, unhook her arm from his and head over to the punch bowl. It had been a simple discussion, as they had walked home the other evening; a discussion in which Kenshin had made it very clear that she was not to do anything that would bring harm to the silver haired rat. Of course, such a request did not go down too well with the Vessel; after all, she loved him, he knew that and yet, he wanted her to stand aside while he helped other girls... Spent time with other girls.
If that's what he wanted then she supposed she didn't have a choice but to let him. After all, if it made her darling Kenshin happy, then that's what was important.

Though, the strange thing is, Kenshin just so happened to start coming down with something not too long after this discussion. It was a pity really; but Koneko didn't mind having to spend her days healing him and making sure he was all right...
"Kenshin..." she murmured his name, pushing a plastic cup of punch she had collected into his arm, cast a look of disgust at Amelia, and wandered over to one of the far corners of the room.

Eyes fixed on her Kenshin, she leant against the wall, not to far away from some red-head dressed like a woman of the night and some shadowy demon guy.

Amelia cocked her head slightly at the remark, giving the Rank #1 a perplexed stare.
"I assure you, there are a number of students who enjoy reading here..." she glanced around the room, eyes settling upon the Temporal King who, quite frankly, she was surprised to see here. "Adrian, for example, he practically lives in that library, I often borrow books from him though his taste in literature is a little different from mine..." she trailed off a little; the Temporal King read a lot of plays and poems and, from what Amelia could gather, seemed to like things ending in tragedy while the Queen preferred a good fantasy, preferably with a happy ending or some sort.
"Well, I could go over everything I like and dislike, but I fear it would not make for an interesting conversation." she added with a chuckle, as Kenshin joined them; a women in a motorcyclist costume upon his arm. Turning from Izek to the eldest of the Rhode's family, her lavender eyes scanned him. Something about him felt off, different even... If her abilities were not still unhindered, she probably would have been able to tell, however they weren't so, for the time being, she pushed her concern to one side; deciding such things would be best left until they were no longer in the Untouchable King's company.

Turning gaze upon Zoe, Amelia's face lit up. "I believe the pleasure is mine. Your brother spoke fondly of you to me." she spoke in her usual refined tone, returning the curtsey before adding. "Are you familiar with Alice's Adventures in Wonderland? I am dressed as Alice. Forgive me is this seems odd or impolite, but you are welcome to feel my costume, if you wish."

Tyler was looking up at the sky as he was waiting for the trio.He did wonder as to why they were taking so long,well if they have an elaborate costume it would take em awhile to put it on.He blinked as he heard the voice of a woman and looked to the see the trio.He smiled slightly as Vethorn introduced the Queen of Kings to him.He gave the Queen of Kings a boy and smiled up at her" Ii is a pleasure to meet the Queen of Kings." He stood up straight as he stared at Clara."As Vethorn had said I am Tyler James Augustine,but you may call me T.J." His eyes flickered over to Thorgrimer.He caught the nod he received from the Bishop and nodded back at him." Shall we go in?"
