Yes; otherwise things will end up like with Princess Di; they will just end up unhappy. It was nice that there was a royal wedding where both of them had thought about getting married to each other, had been in a committed relationship with each other before, and will most likely be happy with each other.

Royalty marrying only other royalty is bad for breeding. So sure, why not? It's not like the British monarch has any power beyond the ability to suggest and look pretty.
