The year is 2099. Earth has been overrun by an outside species known as 'Others' by the human race. The humans are all but extinct. The 'Others' took humans and hollowed them out, taking over their flesh and bones to live on our planet. They have abilities that the humans cannot stand against, and thus that is the reason why the humans remain hidden in the cities that once were, though most of the humans who hid are dead because they lacked all the food sources. The humans who live in Old New York, though, have survived, and remain in the tunnels that had been created long before.
The 'Others' have rebuilt the cities and towns, making everything perfect. They regrew the plants and flowers, recreated life in the wild. They took away famine, war . . . through annihilation of the human race, of course.
The humans want to live. They started to repopulate in Old New York, trying to gather enough strength and wait for the right time. Some thought that after a few years, the 'Others' would move on to another planet . . . but the 'Others' seem like they're here to stay.
And where does that put the human race?
Just a fragment of the 'Others' memory now?
No, it has to end. They have to leave.
They . . . must leave . . .
