Waking up was always something that seemed to be a rather interesting adventure or at least that's what it felt like to Charlotte. The young blonde had a love/hate relationship with mornings. While it was great to wake up and find inspiration, it sucked being pulled from a nice, warm bed. Peeking out from her covers, Charlotte's eyes glanced around her room, taking in her familiar furniture and the lingering smell of paint that had soaked into her bedroom walls. For Charlotte, the smell was comforting. It reminded her of her childhood. Tossing her covers forward, Charlotte sat up in her bed, raising her arms above her head in a stretch. The day was going to be a rather busy one. While the spring session had finished, Charlotte still had one more to go until that trusty degree would be hers.
Heading towards the closet, Charlotte pulled out a few articles of clothing, deciding on casual for the day. She had nobody to impress right? Grabbing her clothing, she headed towards her bathroom, locking the door behind her and placing her clothes on the counter. Charlotte guessed that it was around say 8 or 9, leaving plenty of time to have a relaxing bubble bath. It was the first day of a short vacation before diving right back into her schooling. Once the drain had been clogged and the faucet turned to the center, Charlotte undressed, adding some bubbles before stepping in to the warm water. It seemed like eternity had passed once Charlotte stepped out of the bath, her skin a tad red and slightly pruney.
Drying her hair off and the rest of her, Charlotte slid into her clothes. After a few more minutes of brushing hair, teeth, all that fun stuff, Charlotte emerged from the bathroom. Heading downstairs, she made herself a quick breakfast before running back upstairs and finishing up some decorations for the fair.
Time seemed to go by so fast when Charlotte was crafting away, that she lost track of time and her stomach. She heard a growl emerge from her and she let a small laugh loose as she patted her stomach.
"Oh, don't worry. I'll feed you soon." After packing up the decorations, Charlotte glanced to the time, thinking of dropping off the decorations to the local cafe. It was the town's annual fair and Charlotte had volunteered to create some decorations and to help out the local high school with their float. Grabbing her bag, which contained the decorations and her keys, Charlotte headed out her front door.
Living so close to the Little Love Cafe made this drop off so much easier. Heading towards the cafe, Charlotte opened the cafe's door, stepping in and nodding her head in agreement.
"Always the usual. A girl can't live without coffee." She paused for a second as she started to unwrap the decorations from their protective covering.
"Or chocolate." She added, tossing a look of pure happiness to Amorette and the danish that had been placed in front of her.
"Or top hats." She finished, a cheeky smile on her lips. Her stomach growled in appreciation and she took a bite and a sip of the coffee. She immediately felt herself relax as the addicting caffeine hit her.
"Oh, it's no problem. You know you can always count on me to get the job done." Taking another bite and sip, Charlotte shook her head.
"It's going fairly well. I'm not gonna spoil one of the floats but it's a beautiful work of art. Just as a helpful hint, don't stand too close to it." Charlotte let out a small laugh at Amorette's mother's comment.
"Can I volunteer to become Cupid?" When no replied to her question, she gave a small pout. Once she had finished her food and coffee, she turned to her cousin, shaking her head absently.
"What are we gonna do with them?" She asked, a smile on her lips.
"Is there anything else we need for the booth?" Charlotte asked, adjusting the almost empty bag on her shoulder as Charlotte lead the way to the park.
