BIOGRAPHY
It seems strange that a man who is already king would attend a school away from his kingdom, but that is what Edgar is doing.

Edgar became king at the young age of 13 and was home-schooled from that point on. He did his best to follow in his father's footsteps, but yearned to also do things his way. His way included improving the lives of his citizens. This was inspired by an incident when he was 12.

A boy about the same age, had managed to pickpocket him while he was in a carriage. The boy was quickly caught by the guards and pushed to the ground. Seeing the look of desperation on the boy's face and the fact that what had been taken was of little value to the Prince Edgar, he told the guards that he had given it to him and to let him go. Instructing one of them to follow after him at a safe distance, and then report back. He found that the boy lived in Zozo, a town of thieves and sinners. Or at least that had been what he had always been told. But what if he could help the people so they didn't have to fall into that state?

Under his rule, the kingdom's livelihood has improved, but the citizens of Zozo seem to want no part of it, too used to their dishonest lives.

BIOGRAPHY
Light, as he prefers to be called, is the son of Cornelian scientist Cid, who moved to Eos sometime before Light was even born. His discoveries are what allowed the Wall to be made and as such gave the family a large sum of money to live on, and they continue getting royalties. This allowed Light to attend Dissidia High without the need for a scholarship. Many want Light to follow in his father's footsteps and become an expert scientist, but Light can't help but feel he wants something different out of his life. He's just not sure what that is.

BIOGRAPHY
Born from Gaea, one of the primordial Gods, Thanatos is her first born. Second God only to Ra, who gives life; he delivers death. Becoming Lord over the Underworld and thus all those who have died, he judges their souls to see if they can go to Elysium or if they belong in Hell. Although a fair and impartial judge, Thanatos is often seen as evil and someone to fear; something he incessantly hates. Although Nephthys bears the role of guiding souls to him, Thanatos also travels to the other realms to do the same. If only as an excuse to leave the lonely Underworld behind.

He has a brother called Morpheus, who is the God of Sleep and giver of dreams, whom he often sends to help others with their passing, in particular the elderly. Morpheus also acts as a messenger on his behalf.

On one of Thantos' particular outings, behind Ra and the Devil himself, he came across a father of 13, who was looking for a Godfather for the newest addition. Thanatos accepted his offer and become the child's Godfather. The child has grown into a famous physician, known to be able to cure the worst of illnesses, but only if Thanatos gives the okay, as no mortal can live forever.

BIOGRAPHY
Pandora is the daughter of Ra and a human and was entrusted with a box at a very young age. She was told never to open the box, but was never told why. However, as a young girl her curiosity was very strong and she ended up failing to do as she was told. Out flew all the wicked things of the world, but at the very bottom of the box was Hope. Feeling guilt and regret for what she unleashed upon the earth, Pandora has taken it upon herself to destroy the evils.

To aid her quest: she was given the gift of immortality by her father, trained under Ares and Athena in various weaponry and the art of war, Artemis helped her to understand and train her loyal companion, Hope, and Apollo bestowed upon her a gift of prophecy. This allowed her to instantly know upon sight, who is a demon and who just appears as one as well as vice versa.

BIOGRAPHY
Asherah is the youngest of many sisters and is known to have a very beautiful singing voice. The only problem? She's too shy to perform in front of others, only choosing to sing if others are singing with her or when there is no audience present. As such, she chose never to sing humans to their doom. Not that she had ever been up to the surface before. The tradition among the pods is that mermaids and mermen are not able to go the surface until they are considered adults. It's a sort of Rite of Passage among their kind. Asherah had only just reached that age when her life changed forever.

Finally, she was allowed to head to the surface to see first hand what it was like. However, that day the weather was not kind and a ship had gotten caught in the storm. One of the men fell overboard and Asherah rushed to his rescue. She held him close as she took him back to the surface. She helped him to hold onto a bit of debris that had also fallen, but floated. In a delirium, he thanked her and gave her a ring which she gladly took. She asked him who he was and he scoffed out "A prince," before losing consciousness. However, not understanding human speech and behavior, Asherah took his answer as literal.

It had been at least a month since that day, and Asherah had constantly had her prince on her mind. Even though her sisters didn't like the idea of their sister courting a human, they also couldn't bear seeing her sadness of being without him. So against their father's wishes they told Asherah of a sea witch near the coast of Hokkai who could perform miracles. And so, Asherah decided to travel to Hokkai in the hopes that the sea witch could help her reunite with her prince.

BIOGRAPHY
Artemis is the daughter of Ra and Selene, and was born during a solar eclipse. She is the Goddess of the Hunt and Wildlife. To the common man being the goddess of both must seem paradoxical, but the truth of the matter is hardly so. Artemis sees herself as a protector of balance in the world. She hates the fact, that hunting has become more of a sport than necessity and often protects the wildlife from their assailants.

She tends to stay away from human and godly affairs and wanders the forests instead. The only person she's close to is her half-brother, Apollo, whom she visits on occasion. It's another thing that seems odd, as he is a protector of humanity and she is a protector of animals, but the two get along just fine. She even carries a flute that he gave her.

Artemis is known as the virgin goddess and there have been many fools who have tried to change that. They usually end up on the wrong side of her bow.

Leviathan is one of the seven children of Yamato no Orochi. He wanted for nothing in his early life and was waited on hand and foot. As he matured into an adult, he realized he didn't want any part in his father's business and left home. However, being raised as he was didn't give him much experience for the real world. BIOGRAPHY
When Hook was a boy, he lived in the high society of Rowashire and was educated just as eloquently as the royal family. He never knew his father as he was never home and his mother never told him his identity. Although he did send money to help them get by. Hook vowed never to become the kind of man, who would abandon his family.

Later in life, his father's hand vanished completely and his mother and he were forced to move to the poor side of Rowashire. Hook's education, put him at odds with the other folk there, and he found himself more often than not in a fight. Luckily, his education had taught him even fighting skills, (mostly dueling with swords, which is his preferred method.) so he almost always ended up on top. One particular fight, where Hook had defended another, earned him his best friend and future first mate, Smee. In fact, his fights earned him many allies who would one day join his crew.

He was barely even an adult, when his mother fell ill and died. Hook had tried his best to make what money he could to treat her, but to no avail. After this, he left Rowashire behind, banded together his crew and began to pillage the seas.

While in his travels, Hook gained favor in the eyes of Poseidon, which allowed him to outrun his captors as well as to become immune to the songs of the mermaids who would have him drown.

He was awoken one morning to a loud sound, and came from his cabin to find a woman on deck. It was considered bad luck for a woman to be on board and his men were in the process of shoving her off, but Hook stopped them. Surely Poseidon's blessing would stay the bad luck. She became his guest and the two soon fell in love. He never questioned how she had come to be on the boat, but she eventually told him in confidence. She had once been a fairy, but had been too fascinated by the world of men, and by the will of their queen had been stripped of her wings. She just happened to fall into his boat. His feelings for her didn't change and the two were wed.

When it became clear that she was pregnant, Hook returned to Rowashire for the first time since he had left. The house that he and his mother had owned still stood and he bought it back from it's current owners, who were quite glad to have been paid double its worth. He left the crew in trustworthy Smee's hands and stayed with his wife for many years. But a pirate's life belongs on the sea and the pull of it was too strong, as much as he tried to fight it. He left, but vowed to return in a month's time. Little did he know the tragedy that would strike.

There had been people waiting for the chance to strike at Hook and take what treasure they believed he had, but they had been too afraid to face him themselves. So when he left, they took the opportunity to strike. They snuck in while young Peter and his mother were asleep, and began to loot the place. The noise woke up Hook's wife and she went to investigate, catching them in the act. Instinct drove them to kill her and Peter who had also been awoken by noise, witnessed the whole thing. The murderers did not notice Peter though and when finished with what they had come for, left.

Hook heard the news and returned as quickly as he could. He took Peter and put him in the care of his crew as he went after the murderers of his wife. It was in the process of his revenge that Hook lost his left hand. This didn't stop him from taking his revenge though. Afterwards he went to an old blacksmith friend and had a hook made to replace his missing hand. He returned to his crew and to Peter, and vowed never to leave the boy again. Peter however was not keen on making the same promise.

BIOGRAPHY
Smee lived in the poor parts of Rowashire as a child with his father and Fae grandmother. He loved hearing his grandmother's tales of the Fae and the village where she grew up and upon her death bed, she bestowed him the Fae's Gift.

Smee's childhood was not a happy one though, due to his Fae blood, he appeared slim and rather effeminate. His name, Shannon, didn't help either. And overtime he came to hate both.

Thankfully, he was rescued from bullying one day, by his future captain, James Hook. The two quickly became best friends and eventually Smee was another member of the family. He was the first person recruited for Captain Hook's crew and from that point on Smee was always called by his last name. Whenever the captain took leave of the ship, it was Smee who took over.

It was only when Hook's future wife came aboard the ship that Smee began to appreciate once more his Fae heritage, being trusted with the fact that she was a fairy.

Once the tragedy of Hook's family struck, Uncle Smee became the sole adult that Peter would trust. As such, Smee taught, on Hook's behalf, Peter to use a sword. He also passes on fatherly advice, which unknown to Peter, usually comes from Hook himself. Smee is also Hook's support, cheering him on when he feels down.

He was once a Djinn, who was forced into a pact with the Sultan/a of Saudaria. This led him to do terrible things and kill many people, something he loathed to do. For many years he wished for his freedom, without saying anything out loud, as he knew what kinds of things could happen with wishes. Being a Djinn, he had seen them plenty of times first hand.

One day, his wish seemed to have come true all on its own, for he found himself free of the pact. The Sultan/a must have done something to break it. He didn't stay to find out the reason. He changed his appearance to reflect the humans of Saudaria and took on a different name, Merlin.

While gathering information on the world, and supplies for the long trip ahead, Merlin came across a young slave girl. Seeing a vision of her future, Merlin broke her chains with his magic. Scared, she had run away. Merlin feared that she had gone back to the life that he had just freed her from, and even though he knew it would be best to leave Saudaria as soon as possible, he felt obligated to help her achieve the future he had seen. Perhaps it was guilt from all the bad that he had done.

He stuck around town, in the hopes of bumping into her again and luckily, it didn't take long. She stood quietly behind a well-dressed man that Merlin could only assume was her master. Knowing her name from his vision, he held out his hand to her, calling her by it. He claimed to be her brother and that he had been searching for her. Once more he used his magic to break her chains and told her that she was free to think for herself. She was still hesitant so he grabbed her arm and ran, using magic to aid in their escape. However, he knew this would notify the Sultan/a of his location and they must leave the country now or never.

They made their way to Rowashire, as also hinted by his vision. On the way, he admitted to her his time as a slave to the Sultan/a, that he was not actually her brother, and that he was one of the Djinn. He offered her a pact, but she refused, saying that neither of them needed to be bound to anyone in that way ever again.

Still posing as siblings, the two began looking for work, eventually making their way to the palace. Merlin became the court magician and physician and Gwen became the handmaiden to princess Morgan.

Someday Gwen would be Rowashire's queen, and Arthur their king. Merlin would do all in his power to see their fates to fruition. But would he take his own advice and learn to think for himself?

BIOGRAPHY
Vlad was born to a woman known as Lilith, who was one of the many evils released from Pandora's Box. Lilith was one of the leaders of Alba and influenced the people into rejecting the Gods and making their own. Vlad was appointed as High Priest to their God of Death and as such killed off the people brought as sacrifices, by impaling them. This gave him the nickname Vlad the Impaler. This God also bestowed upon him immortality as a being of the night, the very first vampire, and he began drinking the blood of the sacrifices as well.

When the true Gods came to Alba to wipe out its citizens, Vlad and his mother were among the few to escape. Seeing the world outside Alba for the first time opened his eyes and he saw the peace and happiness that the people had, compared to the lust and chaos of Alba. Lilith didn’t like this change in her son and it led to disagreements. Lilith was a woman who loved pleasure and often would leave him alone for days on end. One day, she never returned. Vlad took that as a sign that he was now free to do what he would with his life.

Wanting the happiness he saw others have, he took wives and sired and adopted children, creating more vampires. Sadly, his blood seemed to only turn them away from humanity and many became demons. People who knew him as the source began calling him Dracula, literally meaning Son of the Dragon, and the name spread.

For a long time he lived with the people of the Romani Caravan, but when the church grew too wary of his presence, he left in order to protect them.

From that point on, he traveled the world and fell in love with a young woman he met. Out of fear, he kept his true self a secret. The two were married and lived a happy life for a time. Vlad thought he had finally found what he’d been searching for, but all good things come to an end. She found him in the arms of another, feeding on her blood. Try as much as he might, he was a vampire and blood was a necessity. She ran and out of respect and love, he did not pursue, never knowing of the child growing within her.

He found his way to the red light district run by Yamato no Orochi, and made a home there; getting a job, in exchange for an easy life of blood.

BIOGRAPHY
Born into a poor town under poor circumstances, it seemed Keiss was destined to grow up like everyone else. A dishonest thief, lining his pockets with gold, taken from someone else. And grow up this way he did, learning all the tricks of the trade from friends and family alike.

His life changed when he was about 12. He was caught in the act, while stealing from a prestigious person. The guards had harshly arrested him, when a voice told them to stop. From the ground, Keiss could only make out his boots, but the person he had just stolen from, said he had given it to him and to let him go on his way. The guards released him, and Keiss caught a glimpse of his savior, Prince Edgar Roni Figaro. This inspired Keiss, to become an honest person and instead of stealing began to work odd jobs in the neighboring city of Jidoor.

The guards made regular circles in Zozo, some of them just as corrupt as the town's citizens. They would beat people, saying they stole from them whether they actually did or not. A friend of Keiss' found herself on the wrong end of this. It didn't matter that she was just a child. Things were about to get worse, when Keiss defended her. Throwing knives between the two with incredible accuracy. The guards called for their captain who rather than punish the street urchin, commended him for his bravery and skill.

As the captain continued to come to Zozo, he taught Keiss swordsmanship and how to wield a gun. He eventually brought in a tutor who taught him math, science, and other subjects. Keiss was slow at first, but worked hard and was soon able to pick up on things quickly. He trusted the captain with his story about Edgar and expressed interest in joining the military to help their new king.

Not too long ago, the captain returned with an envelope. Inside was a letter and a scholarship. The letter was from Dissidia High, who mentioned that from the Captain's letter of recommendation, they would love to have him attend. To Keiss, this was the new start he needed.

Marian lived a charmed childhood full of laughter and smiles. She was tutored by the best and taught in the ways of knighthood. But mysteriously both her parents died three years ago and her estranged uncle was sent for. He arrived promptly, (too promptly if you asked Marian) and was tasked with looking after her until she was of age to take the throne.

Wary of her uncle, Marian began living a somewhat double life, acting the demure princess in his presence while being her true self outside the castle walls.

Now she is 17 going on 18. The time for her to take the throne is approaching fast, and she's perceptive that someone may not like that fact. Who, she will never say, but she does have her suspicions.

BIOGRAPHY
DOOM TRAIN was once the biggest name in Music, especially in the streets of Midgar. But a few years ago, the band went their separate ways. They remained friends, but their lives each took different turns. Some moved, others wanted to focus more on their education, and others wanted to focus on their own projects. Selphie wasn't any of them, but she loved her friends and understood their reasons. Selphie did end up taking the latter route and began doing her own projects and posting them online for others to see.

Selphie learned of Dissidia High but figured her family was too poor to afford it, so didn't look further into it. Later, an old band mate reached out to her, stating that he was going to be attending and that he had obtained a scholarship. Wanting to see her old friend again, Selphie researched into it and applied for a scholarship. She heard back fairly quickly and was awarded the Queen Brahne scholarship.

BIOGRAPHY
For much of Kairi's early life, she was passed around families, but eventually found home with loving parents and an older sister. She was a bit of a troublemaker due to wanting attention and feeling like she wasn't wanted, but mellowed out once she had the chance to find herself. She took up photography, swimming, and various styles of crafting, falling in love with each. She even designed the logo and mascot for Selphie's band DOOM TRAIN and helped out with album art and costumes. Though professionals eventually took over that department. The logo was kept however.

The sisters have always been close, so when Selphie decided to apply for Dissidia High, Kairi did too. Sadly, her's came back denied as they had only a limited amount of scholarships to give out, but they did offer her a different scholarship, Kin, as they had accepted Selphie already. She gratefully accepted the scholarship and began to plan for the new adventure alongside Selphie.
