Albel Nox was born in Bervenia, in the small mining town of Narshe. He fell in love with a local girl and childhood friend who became a summoner. Albel decided to go with her on her journey in order to protect her, but he inevitably failed. Perhaps Matues the Corrupt was not the best choice for a first Aeon, but both teens were cocky enough to try. This ended in tragedy as the woman he loved was killed and Albel left one-armed and permanently emotionally scarred from the encounter.

Albel left Bervenia soon after and has never returned. He devoted himself to mastering the sword. He became a leader of bandits, always keeping people at arm’s length so that he’ll never lose someone he cares for again. He is known as Albel the Wicked and is rumored not to leave any survivors of the caravans he raids. His men, however, are much more courteous.

Sidon was born the son of the previous King of Destiny Islands who was killed during Galbadia’s invasion. His older sibling also fell at their hands, causing Sidon to inherit a war that he was not prepared for. The Islands fell and became a colony of Galbadia. Bound by an unfair treaty, Sidon remains Destiny Islands' king in name only.

On the surface, Sidon is a smiley, energetic individual, and a bit of a party boy; fitting as the “ruler” of the resort islands. But underneath it all, he seethes for his country’s independence.

While alive, Lumina yearned to be a great summoner like others before her and trained hard to do so. Sadly, she never had much of a chance to do so as a war broke out in her homeland, one which no longer exists at this day. Dying full of regret at not being able to fulfill her dream, she arose as an Aeon and vowed to help other children like herself on their ways. She is seen as a guardian deity of children and does her utmost best to answer their prayers.

About a year ago, Lumina met the individual she would help on her path; a young orphan called Eiko. The girl could speak to the spirits, a sign of a Summoner's skill. Lumina has since been the girl's constant companion, forming a pact with her and teaching her how to be a Summoner. They still have a long way to go, but Lumina's confident that she can pass on her dream to Eiko.

Lumina's personality is quite childish. She loves to play games, perform practical jokes, and just have fun in general. But she can be down to earth, like when she helps other children and while she's teaching Eiko. She is also fiercely loyal and doesn't hesitate to defend those she deems worthy.

Once upon a time, a little girl was born to a family of soldiers in Archadia. Her name was Lucina. She lived a very happy life with her parents and eventual younger brother. When she was finally old enough she learned to wield a sword from her father and attempted to learn some magic and strategies from her mother. She sadly, wasn't able to pick up her mother's skill as easily as Morgan and envied him slightly due to this. She did eventually pick up on some strategies though.

Their family fought against the rising bandit infestation in Archadia loyally, but Lucina didn't want to be in her father's shadow forever, no matter how much she loved him. So when a call came that the knights were accepting new members, Lucina eagerly joined their ranks. She didn't realize how this would change her life, however, as she hasn't been able to see her family very much since joining.

Like her younger brother Morgan, Lucina was born with a mark of the Goddess. Her's is much more noticeable as it rests within one of her eyes.

Garnet is a singer, learning the trades of music under a very good teacher, Erik. They met some time ago, while she was on the run from pursuers that her family and the church had sent after her. For, you see, Garnet is not actually her real name, but an alias given to her by Erik.

Garnet was born Sarah Alexandros and was a noble in Alexandria. It was decided early on in life that she would enter the teachings of the church and become a Summoner, a life she never wanted. She'd shirk her training and run off, many times hiding with her supportive cousins, the Nox Fleurets. But her parents and teachers eventually got wise to all her escape attempts and hiding spots so she pretended to behave. She began hatching a full escape plan in which she would leave Alexandria behind completely. Once her "captors" let their guard down, she was gone. Sadly, her escape was quickly caught on to, and pursuers were sent after her. She also didn't think about an alias and so was rather easy to track, but she managed to slip away every time. Eventually she ran into Erik who offered her his protection in exchange for her voice.

Richard is Serenity's younger brother and the uncle of both Hotaru and Chibiusa. He has made it his life's work to be a better uncle to them than his was.

He had a simple childhood, being teased by his older sister, and training in the ways of the sword by his uncle, against his parents' wishes. Apparently Uncle Cedric was what they called a Dark Knight and it was not the path that they wanted Richard to take. However, his parents always desired for him and Serenity to make their own decisions and therefore did not intervene.

As the time came for Serenity to take the throne, Richard stumbled across Cedric discussing with another man about killing the royal family and taking the throne for himself. Afraid for his life and feeling betrayed, Richard went into a frenzy, killing both his uncle and the assassin on the spot.

Realizing that Richard was missing, his father came in search of him only to find him in a daze with two corpses, and covered in blood. Always being the loving father, he took his son aside, had him cleaned up and changed into a new suit, ordered the room to be cleaned and the bodies taken away. He spoke with Richard, who told him everything in a string of stutters, and his father mentioned knowing for a long time that Cedric might try this someday and was sorry that Richard had to be the one to deal with it. Although it became public knowledge what his uncle did, the fact that Richard killed him was never revealed. Even Serenity doesn't know this.

He still practices the sword as he knows he will never become King and out of a desire to protect those he loves, but can feel a growing darkness as a result. A darkness he's afraid might make him something that he does not wish to be.

He has recently taken the throne on a temporary basis while his sister and brother-in-law search for help.

There's not much to say about Azula's early childhood, it's not something she cares to remember. Always second best to her older brother, led her to do the unthinkable, jump headfirst into the void. It took hours of dedicated meditation to get there, but Azula finally succeeded. In the Void, she met the God Chaos himself, who gave her the power she desired, before returning her to the world.

Upon awakening from her coma, Azula resumed her training now outclassing Zuko in everything and earning a place on Galbadia's council. The youngest to ever do so. This brought her close to Jack, Nina, and Roy. She grew jealous of their friendship and loving family ties, something she felt she never had. So when the other members of the council sans Eliwood wanted Nina and Roy dead, she knew exactly where to go.

Her goals include usurping the throne of Galbadia and then taking the rest of the kingdoms for herself. However, little does she know that she is only a puppet being used to spread chaos on the earth.

Protos Heis (literally First One) is a cultivated human or humanoid creation as a result of a secret project that the church started recently. As such she has no emotions to speak of and is completely loyal to the church. Perhaps something will happen to make this change? She was given the name Sophie so as to avoid suspicion about the project in which she was born.

Link was a simple rancher and summoner from Vector who had an intimate connection with nature. Animals loved him and he felt more comfortable in their presence as well. If it had not been for his parents’ insistence on continuing a legacy of summoners, he would have been a trainer instead. However he was rather lazy and tended to shirk his training.

But as Galbadia’s rise in technology continued, Link and a few others feared for nature and the lives of the animals. A small rebellion was formed that fought against Galbadia, mostly taking the forms of harmful pranks and petty thievery. However, it was enough to get the military involved. The rebellion was silenced in the worst manner possible, making an example of them to any others that might question Galbadia’s authority.

This lead to Link’s death and the death of his Aeon, the former Guardian of the Lost Woods. But unlike his Aeon, Link rose again in the guise of a wolf. He took up residence in the Aeon’s now abandoned shrine and watches over the forest and all who dwell within. He feels a kinship with the girl, Yellow so sees to it that the forest doesn’t cause her to get lost. Otherwise he could really care less about humans and doesn’t even intend to make a pact with one, especially if they’re technology loving Galbadians.

Caius was very young when he entered the foster system. He was passed around from family to family up until he was an adult. Once free of the system, he got a job at a sheep farm working as a farm hand. He was treated like a member of the family which was something he had never had before. An accident occurred in which both parents were killed, leaving Caius with the 10 year old Yeul. Rather than allow her to go into the system that had caused him so much childhood pain, he became her legal guardian. The two tried their hardest to keep the farm going, but lack of manpower and money eventually led to its downfall. Caius began looking for jobs and was accepted as the librarian for Dissidia High. This has led them to sell the farm and move to an apartment in Balamb.

BIOGRAPHY
Namine is the young daughter of a noble family in Lufenia and has never wanted for anything, especially with an older brother who loves to spoil her. Their parents were often away on business and the siblings were watched by a nanny until Mateus was old enough to handle things on his own. She became very good friends with Elia at a young age and the two would follow him around like ducklings. Later when Xion was brought back after running away, the three tried to include Xion in whatever they did. The four are now the best of friends.

BIOGRAPHY
Serah is the middle daughter of the Farron sisters and looks up to her big sister, Lightning, while synonymously trying to be someone that her younger sister, Lumina, can look up to. She' s extremely brilliant and hard working so would get straight As in school. One day she was in the library when she met the mayor's daughter. The young girl loved to learn and wanted to learn everything she could, so Serah decided to tutor her. This inspired her dream of becoming a teacher someday.

When Lightning got the job of Combat Teacher at Dissidia High, Serah and Lumina followed suit, enrolling at the school. Her good grades rewarded Serah the Literacy scholarship.

BIOGRAPHY
Garnet is the princess of Alexandria and has always had private tutors ever since she can remember. She was hardly ever let out of the castle unless it was for special occasions and therefore didn't have any friends. She fell in love with theater, one of the only things her mother and her bonded over. It was during a performance that her mother casually mentioned enrolling Garnet into Dissidia High. This was a shock to Garnet, but she tried not to sound too eager when she agreed.

BIOGRAPHY
When Bartz was a young child, his mother got extremely ill and his father left them in search of a cure. He never returned. Bartz' mother eventually succumbed to the disease and Bartz was taken in by the village elder. He was bullied by the other children in the village for being an orphan. One particular bullying got Bartz stuck up on a roof where he developed a fear of heights. This became another thing the bullies decided to exploit. Luckily, one day a girl decided to stand up for him and that was the beginning of their friendship. They continually bonded over their love of Chocobos and would compete against each other in races all the time. Sometimes she'd win and sometimes he would, it never seemed to matter in the end though. But inside, Bartz yearns for the freedom away from his childhood home and childhood bullies; and longs to see the world. So when he heard about Dissidia High he enrolled. He didn't expect a little orphan boy from a small village would actually be able to attend, but lo and behold he got a scholarship putting him on the right track.

BIOGRAPHY
Lumina is the youngest of the Farron sisters and looks up to her big sisters, Lightning and Serah. She's the most energetic of the three and is always out and about, sometime playing pranks on others and sometimes playing with other children like the mayor's daughter, Eiko. She loves going to fashion shows and looking at fashion magazines. She wants to be a fashion designer someday and has taken up both drawing and sewing as a means to get there.

When Lightning got the job of Combat Teacher at Dissidia High, Serah and Lumina followed suit, enrolling at the school.

BIOGRAPHY
Firion comes from a family with a long military background and an undying loyalty to their king. He knew from a very young age that he would be required to follow in the same footsteps. While his twin brother, Cecil, fully embraced being a hero for the kingdom, and stuck by their father's side, Firion stuck with his mother, learning to garden and make works of art. Both passions he fell in love with. Although his father wished Firion would devote himself more to the study of war, he supported his sons passions. Luckily, Firion was a natural when it came to weaponry, he could wield almost any weapon he picked up with ease. Although this left him without a specialty, it also made him an asset as he could fill in in any position he might be needed.

When Firion's father died in battle, the pressure on the twins diminished, but Cecil decided to continue to follow in their father's footsteps. Firion on the other hand, wasn't sure what to do with his life, so he enrolled into Dissidia High. Chances are he'll still end up in the military someday, but who knows?
