Ryo wasn't sure there was anyone in the whole wide world that he could enjoy the beach with as much as Kase. Sure, he always had a blast with his other friends, but sometimes he felt too restricted in their presence. Sometimes he just wanted to let loose and have fun without having to worry about schedules or sugar coating things. With Kase, he could say whatever he was thinking in the moment, and get away with it no matter how foolish it sounded. Sure, his friend might tease him a bit for it, but one could always tell the honesty was appreciated. Soaking up the sun and the vitamin d as his toes dug into the warm sand, Ryo felt completely at ease. All his troubles about school and his future just melted away under the heat of the summer sun and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. It was all so perfect and peaceful. "This is heaven," Ryo hummed out cheerfully, fingers sifting through the sand.

The bottle of sunscreen was snatched away from him and Ryo looked as Kase pointed him in the direction of a group of middle aged women. Grimacing, he averted his gaze as if having witnessed some scene from a horror movie. "Yikes, no thanks. They're probably as old as my grandma," he commented, flinching a bit as the cold sunscreen was smeared over his already warm back. "You couldn't give me a younger target to practice on?" he asked with an exasperated sigh, resisting the urge to twist away from Kase's touch as his fingers traveled over the more sensitive spots on his back and sides. He was a bit ticklish in those areas, and he was always on edge having Kase's hands anywhere near them. Who knew when the man's fingers would launch a surprise tickle attack and send him into an exhausting giggle fit.

Ryo's back was slightly stiff, tensing up cautiously as Kase's fingers slid along his waist and stopped. Suddenly, he felt Kase's breath brush against his ear and he flinched, his friend's voice whispering softly and teasingly. "What are you-" Before he could finish, his heart jumped in his chest as Kase jumped forward, wrapping his arms around Ryo and pulling him into a tight hug. He could feel the overwhelming presence of Kase's warm skin against his back, and the fact that he didn't entirely hate it was an embarrassing situation all on it's own. The tips of his ears burned red as he awkwardly shifted in Kase's embrace, his heart beating rapidly in his chest although he couldn't fathom why. He chalked it up to being surprised, though it didn't seem to be the case. "Quit it already," he commanded, lightly jabbing Kase in the stomach with his elbow. "There's no such thing as the suspension bridge effect. Did you watch that off some drama or something?" he questioned, averting his eyes and looking to the side to find the old crones from earlier looking their way and gossiping like birds.

Giving a small, quiet breath of relief as Kase dropped his arms and separated from him, Ryo took a moment to calm himself and his beating heart. Running his fingers through his hair, he leaned back and closed his eyes, relaxing as his pulse began to quiet. "Not too interested in picking up girls today anyway. None of them seem to catch my interest. Not that they're boring or anything just... not appealing," he commented bluntly, before opening his eyes and turning the amber hues towards Kase. "'Besides, I can win anyone's phone number on charm alone. I don't need to use your weird tricks," he commented, sticking his tongue out at his friend challengingly. Grinning, he stood up from his spot, nudging Kase with his foot and pointing to the water. "Come on. Let's go for a swim. I'll race ya there." Ryo didn't give him much of a fair start, taking off down the beach no sooner after stating it, laughing along as he ran through the thick sand.

Yul awoke early that morning, his father having shaken him gently out of his slumber. Peeking his eyes open sleepily, he hardly managed to process his father's words, urging the small boy to wake up so they could start their day. His already very drowsy expression mixed with confusion as his father noted they would have to leave soon. "Mm...?" Raising his head to look up at his father, already wide awake, Yul blinked slowly as his father patted down his messy hair in an attempt to flatten it. His hands clung to his father's shirt as he was settled atop the man's lap and he softly rested his head against Yuan's shoulder. Yuan was so warm and soft... it almost tempted Yul to return to his dreamworld and sleep. "We have to go to the train station, remember?" Ah, he had almost forgotten! The young boy's doe-like eyes glimmered with excitement, eager to see and ride on a train for the first time. Sure, he had seen plenty of toy or model trains, though never in his wildest dreams would he have imagined seeing one in person. His parents could never really afford to travel internationally, and he briefly wondered if the train would only be traveling within Korea. The destination wasn't on the tickets, though that made things all the more exciting for little Yul. Mysteries were always fun, especially when one worked to unravel them... Maybe he could play detective and figure it out once they had boarded?
"Mm, ok!"

Smiling softly as his father planted a kiss against his head, Yul promptly hopped off his father's lap and began packing his things. He messily folded his blanket and slipped it into his bag, before gently placing his stuffed bear Ursa atop it. Zipping up his bag, Yul handed it off to his father, watching in admiration as his father lugged the heavy bags over his slender shoulders. Following the man to the showers, Yul gratefully let his father undress and change him, still feeling rather groggy from waking up only moments before. "No shower?" he questioned curiously with a small yawn, wondering why they would be putting on new clothes without cleaning off first. His father explained they wouldn't be taking one today, prompting a small frown on the young boy's face. He didn't want to miss catching the train, but he didn't want to see it when he didn't feel clean. While he didn't much like the shower room or the idea of cleaning himself off in a public area, it was effective in achieving some sense of personal hygiene.

Trying not to pout, the finicky child decided to change the subject. "Will the train be big?" he asked, playing with the zipper of his duffel bag as his father changed. "Yes, it'll be verrry big. So big we might get lost.""Wow..." Amazed and excited, a soft gasp escaped his lips as his father described the train's size. It must have been huge... "Bigger than the moon?" he asked, imagining a large train traveling the length of the globe in a single night. A train as big as that must have been magic right? "Well, maybe not that big, but still pretty big." Well... that was a bit disappointing, though the boy was still pumped to see it nonetheless.

They finished dressing soon enough, though as they passed the cafeteria, Yul tugged on his father's shirt in confusion. It wasn't normal for them to skip breakfast, and he figured it had slipped his father's mind. "No breakfast?" he asked, to which he was met with a small, sad smile from his father. "Oh, was that a bad question...?" he wondered, hoping he had not upset his father. Yuan went on to explain that they'd be having breakfast at the station instead today, a special meal for a special day. Yuan couldn't help but smile at this, his tummy already rumbling at the thought of something yummy. Shelter food wasn't something he was used to and while he could complain to his father about it, he knew his papa couldn't afford to buy them anything better. He was confused as to why his papa was buying a special breakfast today, though he didn't delve too deeply into it. Humming softly as he followed his papa along, Yul hopped along the lines on the sidewalk pavement as they made their way to the station.

Arriving at the station, Yul let out an audible gasp as he took in the large building. He'd never seen such a fancy place before and he thought it must have looked like a giant palace. His head furiously turned to and fro as he took in the station while his father guided him inside, his amber eyes staring up at the large, intricate glass ceiling above them. It was amazing... "Wow," he exclaimed, jaw dropping in awe at the brand new building that almost seemed to sparkle in the sunlight. Yul's father took the boy's small hand in his, warning the young boy to stick close since there would be a crowd. Obediently, Yul nodded along, not wanting to get lost in such an unfamiliar place. The pair approached the ticket counter and Yul immediately shied away under the serious gaze of Ace. Hiding behind his father's leg, he watched as the man stamped their tickets and handed them over to his father. As they were asked for their bags, Yul didn't want to let go of his, as Ursa was sitting inside and he feared the staff might lose him. His father, however, handed them off without much hesitation, causing Yul to sulk a bit as he watched the staff members carry his belongings away. He had gotten a new bag, and while the gift was a pleasant one, he just wished he would have pulled Ursa from his bag when he had the chance...

Breakfast was an enjoyable one, though both boys certainly didn't choose meals suited for the time of day. Yul was thankful for the delicious food and the fact that it was free, for it certainly must have been a welcome relief for his father. It was becoming all too apparent as the days went on that their funds were dwindling, and Yul could feel his father's stress. It bothered the child, who could do nothing for his papa other than support him and try not to be too much of a bother... Once they finished eating, the pair headed off to the showers. As they entered, Yul was surprised to find the place was significantly cleaner than the public showers at the shelters, with very almost no trace of grime or mold in the sparkling tile. "So nice..." he uttered quietly, admiring the pleasant soapy smell that filled the air. The shower was warm and Yul was glad the temperature wasn't erratic or cold like the ones they had usually come across. After they showered and dried off, Yul let his father dress him as usual. Unlike his father, he didn't particularly care much for what he was wearing, more than willing to let his father pick his clothes for him. There wasn't any fashion he liked, satisfied so long as what he wore was comfortable and he could run about in it without worrying. Yul was surprised to find the clothes he had been given weren't too small or too big. They fit just right. Almost like they were meant for him...

Finished dressing (again) the boys finished getting ready, with Yuan drying his own hair and Yul's. The boy's naturally curly hair fluffed up slightly, just as messy-looking as usual despite the fact that it had been combed through. A whistle was heard throughout the station and his father rushed him out of the locker room. Their train had arrived. Following behind his father quickly- careful not to let the man out of his sight- they finally arrived at the train breathless and on time. As they waited in line, Yul's words caught in his throat as he looked in amazement at the train before him. It looked as if it was made of crystal, decorated beautifully with an overall appearance that made it seem as if it was pulled straight out of a storybook. "Pretty~," Yul commented, finding that the train looked magical. "It's got no wheels papa..." he commented, though his father was busy handing off their tickets and didn't pay the boy much mind. The pair entered the train and Yul found himself looking over each car they passed, looking for sports perfect for exploration and hiding. After progressing through the train, they finally arrived at his father's room, though they didn't step inside to look, much to Yul's disappointment. His father told him to remember the room and Yul nodded, storing the room number in his memory- Room 0005.

Frowning a bit as it finally settled in that they would no longer be sleeping in the same room, he pouted as he clung onto his father's jeans. "Can't I just sleep in your room papa?" he earned a sympathetic smile and a pat on the head, though his father's answer wasn't one he wanted. Why couldn't he just sleep over whenever he wanted? It was frustrating to say the least, especially when he had grown so accustomed to sleeping alongside his father. It would certainly be harder to sleep at night without him there... His father asked if it would be fun to have a roommate, but the thought of a roommate wasn't an exciting one for Yul. The young boy had never shared a room before and he didn't like the idea of someone going through his belongings or having to share his toys. "I don't know... I don't want them to touch my stuff..." His father seemed to understand him and his hesitation in befriending others, something Yul appreciated a lot in his papa. No one else understood him as well as Yuan did. For now, he'd try his best to make friends with his father's encouragement, but he wasn't sure what sort of children would be traveling on the train as well. He could only hope his roommate wouldn't be a scary one...

They arrived at the children's car not much later, Yul's room being the second to last- Room 0014. He could hear another child crying in the car and could already feel the anxiety overwhelm him. Why were they crying? Were they scared? Would staying here be scary? Biting his lip as his father opened the door to his room, Yul was relieved to find his bag sitting on one of the beds. Running to his bag, he swiftly pulled out Ursa, looking him over for a moment to make sure he had survived the trip. He didn't even bother to answer his father's question, hugging Ursa tightly against his chest. It would be a relief at least that he would have Ursa with him while on the train, his dearest friend. "Why don't you unpack and papa will come back in a bit? You can do it yourself, right? Since you're a big boy now." Yul hesitated to answer, not wanting his father to leave him alone in such an unfamiliar setting. He didn't want to seem like a needy child by asking his father to stay and help. He was a big boy, so certainly he could handle an hour or two without his papa... right? Shuffling his feet, he pursed his lips as he looked down at the ground, certainly unwilling to admit he wanted his papa to stay and not eager to tell him it was fine to go either. His father smiled and placed a comforting kiss on his forehead and Yul looked up as the man explained that he wouldn't be gone to long. If he was scared, he could go to his papa's room and he was thankful he had made the effort to remember where it was. Nodding along to confirm he knew its location, he watched his father leave and a bit of dread filled his stomach. How long was not long?

Slowly, Yul began to unpack his things, clothes that had already been folded by his father fitting neatly into the given dresser. Ursa sat on his bed watching him as Yul placed his toys in the storage container under his bed, stopping briefly every once in a while to adjust his kamen rider action figures. Once he was finished, all he could do now was sit and wait till his roommate or his father arrived, fidgeting as he sat on the corner of his bed with Ursa nestled on his lap. "Do you think my roommate will be nice?" he asked the bear, and though he was met with silence, he imagined Ursa might have said yes. "I hope you're right..." he commented, squeezing the bear tightly against his chest.

Yuan hadn't slept the night before, eyes wide awake as he laid alongside his son in the quiet shelter they had found themselves in that night. The lights were off, though he could hear the soft shifting of bodies or occasional coughs from the other shelter inhabitants, many of whom were fast asleep. While he would have liked to sleep as well, he always found himself on his guard these days. He needed to keep a watchful eye on his son and their belongings, Yul's bag used as a cushion for them to rest their heads on while the other was nestled beneath their cot. Yul was fast asleep in Yuan's arms, his tiny hands clinging onto his father's shirt and his face nuzzled into Yuan's chest. Yuan could hear him softly breathing, his consciousness having faded away a few hours earlier after Yuan read from one of his picture books. It was clear that both of them would never quite get used to sleeping in a shelter, surrounded by dozens of other strangers and in unfamiliar and uncomfortable surroundings. Yuan had read all sorts of horror stories about homeless people getting robbed of all they have left. He didn't feel safe at all these days and was lacking for any sort of sleep, riddled with anxiety from their lack of living situation and fearful that if he were to fall asleep, all that they had left in this world might be taken from them. Even more so, he was afraid Yul might be taken from him.

The wait until morning was an excruciating one, with Yuan staring blankly into space as he resisted sleep and all temptation of it. Morning came several hours later and as the lights of the shelter flickered on and the homeless were awoken from their slumber, Yuan sat up in his seat, heaving a heavy sigh. He softly shook Yul awake, his voice a gentle sing-song in order not to startle the boy. "Yul~," he hummed, brushing back curled, snow white locks out of the boy's face. "It's time to wake up. We'll have to leave soon." Pretty amber eyes peeking open to look up at his father. "Mm...?" Sleeping rubbing at his eyes, the young boy raised his head, his hair a jumbled mess of bedhead. Laughing softly, Yuan patted down his son's hair before lifting the boy up by his underarms and setting him on his lap. "We have to go to the train station, remember?" It was only the day before when they had run into the woman in white, a petite figure that had taken Yuan by surprise just as they had left the shelter early that morning. Just as quickly as she appeared, she had vanished, leaving Yuan wondering if he had just come in contact with some sort of apparition. The lady in white had pressed an envelope into his hands during their brief run-in, claiming that the man might have dropped it. As Yuan looked inside, however, he found an unfamiliar piece of parchment and two train tickets- an offer for a second chance in life. The ticket was a miracle, in Yuan's opinion, dropped into his lap at the exact time that he needed it the most. He could almost feel it was a sign from Sun-mi -his deceased wife- and thought briefly that she surely must have been watching over them from wherever she was now.

The mention of the train station seemed to excite Yul, whose eyes had widened slightly as his mind started to clear and he remembered yesterday's events. "Mm, ok." He planted a soft kiss on the young boy's hair and Yul hopped off of his lap in order to begin packing their things. Yuan folded their blankets and stuffed them into his heavy bag while Yul slipped his stuffed bear, Ursa, into his own smaller bag. As they finished gathering their things, Yuan hiked both bags over his shoulders before leading Yul over to the shower room. Changing quickly and brushing their teeth, Yuan thought it best to skip a shower today, hoping they might be able to catch one at the train instead. The shelter's shower room wasn't a particularly sanitary one and while normally they might not have many other choices, the train would hopefully prove to be the more clean and comfortable option. "No shower?" Yul asked with a small yawn as his father tugged off his nightshirt and replaced it with a cute short sleeve. "No shower. We need to get to the station early so we don't miss the train," Yuan explained, slipping on the boy's shorts while handing off the socks and letting the boy put them on himself. "Will the train be big?" Yul asked, while his father began to dress. "Yes, it'll be verrry big," he stated, stretching his arms out wide to exemplify this. "So big we might get lost." This managed to earn a soft gasp in amazement from his son, who's eyes practically glimmered imagining it. "Bigger than the moon?" "Well, maybe not that big, but still pretty big."

Once they were finished dressing, Yuan guided his son out of the shelter, passing the food kitchen on the way. His son tugged on his shirt, looking back at the cafeteria in confusion. "No breakfast?" He gave his son a small, almost guilty smile, a bit sad that Yul had become so accustomed to eating there. He'd never thought he'd ever reach such a point in his lifetime. "Not today. The station should have food stands, so papa will buy you something special. It's a special day, after all." This seemed to satisfy his son, who gave a small smile at the thought of a hot, well-made meal of his choosing. Heaving the heavy bags over his shoulders and leading his son outside, the two made their way down the pavement and headed towards the station.

The station was an amazing sight to take in, and while Yuan had led a wealthy life for most of his youth, he'd never traveled by train or stepped foot in a station before. While that made it difficult to compare the location to other stations, he thought the place looked rather expensive and grand for something as simple as a train station. Looking down at Yul, the boy looked amazed as well, his mouth gaping open as his small head turned every which way to take in his surroundings. Smiling at the curious child, Yuan took the small boy's hand and tugged him forward gently. "Come now. Stick close Yul, the station might be crowded." Obediently following his father's wishes, Yul became more mindful as he followed alongside his father, much to the man's relief. Yuan didn't want to lose his child in such a crowded area, and just the thought of it terrified him.

The pair arrived at the ticket booth, where their tickets were stamped and they were handed free vouchers for food and their bags were taken, replaced with new ones filled with clean clothing. Yuan gratefully handed over the bags, grateful that the staff would hold onto it for him, especially since it was so heavy in comparison to the new one. Rubbing his shoulders in relief, he then took up the new ones and gave a polite nod to the staff before entering the station's main hall. Squeezing Yul's hand tightly as they powered through the crowd and arrived at the cafeteria. It was an incredibly pleasant feeling to receive free food with such good quality, especially when the man was worrying hours before that he might not be able to afford to feed the both of them. He gazed at his son as the boy happily chowed down on his favorite dish of gyoza, the sight of it doing much to fill his soul. There was no feeling more satisfying and comforting than to see his son eating happily. It almost made him forget about his own meal sitting in front of him. Yuan had was almost beginning to forget what real food tasted like, having spent the last several weeks on cold sandwiches, convenience store bentos, and whatever the shelters had decided to offer for the day. The bulgogi on his plate melted in his mouth like butter and for a moment he thought he might have been tasting heaven. Humming in delight at the taste, the meal wasn't an especially chatty one, with both boys eager to fill their bellies.

A long shower was a must after such a big meal, and Yuan was pleasantly surprised to find that the public showers at the station were sparkling clean. The shower rooms at the shelters had been so unkempt in comparison to these, and the untainted linoleum looked brand new. How long had this station been here? Their shower was a relaxing one, with both boys thankful to have a chance to clean themselves off in a pleasant environment. As they finished off, Yuan was surprised to find that the new clothing in their bags were their exact sizes. It was very odd, to say the least, as he couldn't remember a moment where he revealed their sizes to the staff. Did it just slip his mind? As forgetful as he was, it wouldn't be a surprise. Figuring they may as well look their best, Yul packed away the clothes they had worn earlier that morning. Dressing Yul in a printed short-sleeve and colorful shorts, he beamed at his adorable son, pinching the boy's cheeks playfully. "My son is so cute. They picked out some good clothes for you, huh?" He said aloud, thinking for a moment that it was a style he was usually prone to picking for Yul. "Hm, strange..." he muttered to himself, low enough so that Yul wouldn't catch his concern. What was the likeliness of a station picking out clothes that Yuan would normally pick out himself? And in their exact size at that...

Trying to shake away the worrying thoughts that began to invade his mind, Yuan turned his attention to dressing himself, choosing a simple white long sleeve and a pair of jeans. After drying his own hair along with his son's, which took an unkempt appearance as always, Yuan rushed as he heard the low whistle of the train arriving at the station. "Ah, hurry Yul. We've got to go! I think that's our train..." The two quickly fled the showers, both bags in Yul's arms as they scurried to catch the train. Arriving at the train, both father and son were heaving quite a bit as they handed their tickets over to Ace and we're successfully allowed in. Letting out a breath he didn't know he had been holding, he nodded gratefully to the man before boarding the train. A part of him thought that maybe he had been waiting all along to find out this was some cruel joke or a terrible mistake; but no, here they were boarding a high-class train for free by some miracle. Maybe this woman in white really was his guardian angel...

Yuan and Yul took a few minutes to explore the train before finally arriving at Yuan's door, though the man wouldn't enter right away. Instead, he gestured to the door and Yul eyed it curiously. "This is my room, alright? You'll have to remember it so you don't get lost. Number 5, okay?" Yul nodded softly, though his lips pursed into a slight pout as he clung onto the fabric of his father's jeans. "Can't I just sleep in your room papa?" Smiling sympathetically down at his son, he patted the boy's curled, snow white hair. "You can't Yul. Not here. Children get a room with other children here. Won't it be fun to have a roommate?" he asked, holding his hand out for Yul to grasp onto. The boy's tiny hand clung onto his, squeezing his father's palm gently. "I don't know... I don't want them to touch my stuff..." At this, Yuan laughed softly, nodding his head slightly in understanding. "Well, you can tell this to your roommate. Nicely, of course. It'll be nice to make friends since we'll be traveling a long while, okay?" Yul took a moment to answer, his shyness usually the cause for his hesitation in befriending other children. "Okay..."

It took a bit to arrive at the children's car, though they quickly found room 14- Yul's room. Just down the hall, he could already hear a child crying, which didn't do much to reassure the already very worried father. Opening the door to Yul's room, he looked about to find it bare with the exception of bags on either bed, one of them Yul's. "Here's your room. Very nice, right?" Yul quickly entered, his first priority to remove his stuffed bear- Ursa- from his bag. It was clear by the way the young boy clung tightly to the bear that he had missed his presence these last several hours. Smiling softly, Yuan lingered at the door, wanting to give his son a bit of space to get used to his new environment. "Why don't you unpack and papa will come back in a bit? You can do it yourself, right? Since you're a big boy now." Yul hesitated to answer, his hands behind his back and Ursa in hand as he shifted in place. The corner of his lip turned up in a half smile as he leaned down to place a soft kiss on his son's forehead. "I won't be gone long. If you feel scared or anything, you can come to my room. You remember where it is, right?" he asked, to which his son nodded in reply. "Good. I'll be right back, I'm going to go unpack." Dropping his son's new bag on his bed, he patted the boy's head before slipping out of the room, trying to rid himself of the separation anxiety overwhelming him. It was like the first day of school all over again.

Returning to his room, Yuan opened the door to find that his roommate had already arrived. The young man was rather pretty, though he looked quite a few years younger. "Hello," he greeted with a sweet smile, closing the door behind him and setting his bag on the free bunk, his old bag waiting for him there as well. "I'm your roommate. Fan Yuan. You can call me Yuan or Yu," he commented with a light tone, admiring the boy's lithe, elegant figure. The crutches to the side were certainly eye-catching and Yuan tilted his head in curiosity. "Are you hurt...?" he asked, somewhat concerned for the man and his potential mobility. "I can ask around and see if there's a wheelchair you can use. If you need it that is," he offered, deciding to multi-task as he began to fold clothes and set them away in his drawers. "I broke my leg once in middle school, so I know what a pain it is to use those crutches," he chattered, humming a bit as he packed away all his belongings, meanwhile seperating the picture books and toys that had taken up space in his bag.

Hana had woken up in the early hours of that morning, as usual. Most days, the small girl would
go for a run around the estate or down the block, though Mugi had slept over the night before and
she didn't want the smaller girl waking up to an empty house. Instead, she made herself busy that
Saturday morning, finishing off her weekend homework while Mugi slept quietly on the futon
beside her bed. Once she had finished and all her responsibilites out of the way, Hana quietly
slipped out of bed, placing her homework at the end of the bed and tip-toeing down the hall to
the bathroom and out of her room. After washing her face and brushing her teeth, Hana brushed
her hair, adorning her brown wavy curls into two identical pigtails.

Once Hana was finished with her morning routine, she left the bathroom to walk on over to the
kitchen, figuring she'd prepare a nice breakfast for her and Mugi. After the events of last night,
they'd both need to get a good meal in to relieve some of their stress. It wasn't easy for the
brunette to be open and display emotion, though even she could cry at the news that a close
family member had gotten into an accident. She felt bad for Hazu, who would be stuck in a
hospital bed for the next few weeks, though she was grateful he was alive and well. She'd have to
pay him a visit when he was feeling up to it, maybe make him a lunch instead of having him
suffer through poorly made, overpriced hospital food. Humming, Hana began pulling ingredients
from the fridge and setting them down on the counter. She needed to distract herself. She needed
to cook. Whenever she was stressed, cooking would help her relieve it. That, or obsessive baking.

Starting on breakfast, she turned her head as she heard her "little sister" calling her name, sleepily
walking into the kitchen. "Good morning, Mugi-chan." Hana shook her head as the girl
apologized for oversleeping, briefly looking up at the clock above the stove to check the time.
"It's alright. The meeting's not for a while and last night was..." Stressful. "You needed
the rest." Carefully watching the bacon fry on a griddle, Hana flipped over a fluffy omelet settled
in a different pan. Softly, she smiled warmly as a pair of arms wrapped around her waist. She
enjoyed Mugi's company. The girl truly felt like her younger sister, even if they didn't share a
parent. She enjoyed the new feeling of warmth that Mugi supplied as well, her bare legs having
begun to chill slightly from the cold air of the kitchen.

Tilting her head to allow Mugi a peek, she pointed at each dish being prepared. "Well, here we
have juicy bacon frying. I figured we'd go for a more American-style breakfast today,"
she explained, before pointing to the omelet next. "On the pan, I've got an omelet with
cheddar, green and red peppers, onion, and small pieces of ham. I beat it lots so it's
extra fluffy. I've got yogurt in the fridge too, so I was thinking I could chop up some
fruit and mix it up." Setting a finished omelet onto a serving plate, she started on the next
before turning to Mugi. "Why don't you set the table while I finish up?" she suggested with
a small smile, before turning back to the food, settling down some of the finished bacon onto a
sieved pot in order to drain the fatty oils. "Did you sleep okay last night? I heard you tossing
and turning quite a bit..." She questioned, with a bit of concern lacing her tone.
