Well if he had kept on playing Dr. Who we wouldn't have had Malaketh in Thor: Dark World. Just pointing it out.

I really loved Eccleston as the doctor!
Now going through the series for me he's pretty much tied with Tennant,
They were both very different but really awesome doctors!!
But at first I had a hard time getting into tennant because I liked Eccleston so much.
(Never did manage to get totally into matt smith ....)

I didnt really like him at first, but he grew on me. I think I juse expected something else at first but I was sad to see him go.
he's not my favourite, but he's not my least fav either. he's in the middle somewhere. ^^

Tennant will always be my favorite out of the ones I have seen, but Eccelston was really good.

What most people don't think of when to comes to Doctor Who is that there is no disliking a Doctor because it goes like this:

You like The Doctor
Then he regenerates
You dislike the new Doctor
You begin to like The Doctor
You love The Doctor
He Regenerates
The entire process repeats.
