First Shiny?

i had all three when i was a kid so i'ts hard for me to recall.
anyways, it was a shiny electrike. i caught him
and never used him. heh

As is the sad fate of many Shiny pokemon.

When I bought pokemon X I really wanted to play with all my favorite pokemon - one being oshawott. So I came on here and asked if any had an extra. Someone gave me one and a shiny arcanine which is my favorite pokemon of all time crying

well mainly because i raised
one i loved and didnt have the heart
to switch them out.

same thing in pokemon x and y.
i accidentally hatched a shiny mareep
(it was an accident because i thought its egg
was an aerodactyl egg, it was right next to them)
i had already raised a ampharos who is AMAZING
competitively, and although the shiny was 5-6iv's too...
i couldn't trade my baby in for her shiny brother. so i gave him to
my boyfriend. and he's very strong.

so i guess its more of a moral thing for me. xD

That's pretty cool. I posted my Greninja on GTS for Quilladin(hadn't seen Chespin) and recieved a Shiny Quilladin. Also, asked a guy for help evolving a couple trade evolution pokemon, and wanted to make offers for his HA Cradily(for a competitive rock team) and he just gave it, and a shiny Charizard for free. crying

At least that mareep isn't just sitting away in a PC, I bet he is very happy where he is. And I'm the same way when it comes to my actual teams. But I will train most of my pokemon anyways.

i never believed in 'trophy' shinies.
if they're there in your box for no good reason
give em to someone who'll use them.

but that's my opinion i guess.

When I have 'Trophy' Shinies, I train them and use them, just not for competitive play.

They do! They're just incredibly rare. That was the only shiny I ever encountered in the game.

... The first shiny I had ever encountered, besides Gyarados, was a Seviper in X that was KO'd by ******** some Zagoose hours after I got X. I rage quit and have hated hordes since. emotion_donotwant
First and only hatched shiny was a Togepi in X.
I've never had any luck regarding shinies ; n ;
I've still only seen 3 wild ones (Seviper -RIP-, ******** critical hit it- and a Kecleon) and I haven't hatched any since lil Togepi.

My first was a shiny Mudkip on sapphire first time I turned on the game I saw that it was that pink/purple color so I was like HELL YES!!! Snagged him up, never used him tho Still have him till this day as a mudkip.... after that would have to be a shiny magikarp on heart gold.... then it would have to be my shiny wingull found on my x 2 days after I got the game... then it would have to be my absol with the name BloodRayne I found about 4 days after I found my wingull in the same patch of grass. Isn't that luck for you.
