For me, it was a Houndour in Pokemon Crystal... He ran away emo

My first legit shiny that doesn't include the plot-given red Gyrados, I would say is the Vulpix I hatched in X. Yeah, I never had much luck with shinies until now.

Yup! And nothing makes me happier than knowing that my first shiny I obtained on my own happens to be my all time fave Pokemon! That Vulpix may not have the best stats, but she's my baby! <3
