Welcome to Gaia! ::

Every band released through Beach Impediment records is so good.
From the desk BANE:

Quote:
Hey everyone

Listen, we're 5 days into this tour. It's been amazing. The best we've had in years. But every night so far we are talking to many kids who are under the mistaken impression that this will be our final US tour. Last night a friend showed me a flier for our upcoming Atlanta show which says, "Come say farewell to Bane".
We want to take a second and try to stomp out this rumor now. This IS NOT our final US tour. We are not even close to that point yet and honestly have no idea when that tour will be.
We wrote Don't Wait Up because we decided that we wanted to continue to do this band through 2014 and possibly even through 2015. It would have made no sense to write a bunch of songs that we wanted kids to sing and dance to and then call it quits so soon after releasing them. This band puts out records so that we can play shows and that is what we are planning to do, as much as we can, for the foreseeable future.
When it is time for the FINAL TOUR we will let it be known and try to play as many places as we can and give anyone who wants to the chance to come out and say goodbye. That is still a ways off though. For now we are still a working, touring band who is psyched be out here on the road doing what we love.
Do us a favor and tell a friend.

While I'm glad to hear that BANE isn't actually calling it quits, telling the world that you're doing a tour to support the last album you ever plan to record kinda sends the wrong message to your fans if you are indeed NOT breaking up in the immediate future. The upside is maybe this will keep merch flippers at bay for a while

Yeah, dude. My friend made that sick Atlanta flyer and got a lot of s**t for it.

Original poster from three months ago:

Except he went in and took the "Farewell" thing that was sitting on the top out.

Soon after replaced as such.

But it's definitely good to know they are not breaking up.
I've never gotten why every band on earth seems to get higher billing than Give on fliers. I may or may not be intensely biased on that subject.
also, despite all his sick stage moves, Mr. Beddard is one of the most unfortunately goony looking individuals i've seen. Its way less noticeable when i saw them live, but in every photo, he's always got some sort of face going. here he looks like he's in pain, every muscle is tearing apart as he breaks free of gravity's bonds.

dude has more energy and staying power than I will ever muster in my entire life, but he looks like someone dumped hot oatmeal on him as a child
Sacred Love were pretty awesome. Too bad they called it quits a few months back. The Dividing Lines EP was the jam. For fans of Mindset, Lion of Judah, and early Soul Control.

******** YEAH! I loved that band. I got to see them play awhile back ago with Mindset!
I didn't know they broke up. What a bummer.
In other news, the Mongoloids played their last Atlanta show last night and killed it with Rude Awakening for Criminal Instincts record release. Paid In Blood did a reunion for the show, first time seeing them - long time fan. The show was absolutely insane. Kids in ski masks jumping all over the place. Monday, Bane plays with Give. Soooooo stoked. Life is cool

Stacked.
Damn.
AND Angel Du$t is playing a house show at my house July 19th. Life rules. cool

I'm making a flyer. I'll share it once I'm finished.

Bane was amazing tonight. They said they'd be around Atlanta at least two more times before they stop touring. I can't complain but Foundation definitely stole the show. Give was really boring.

though after reading that foundation's drummer got taken out by a cymbal, I can now see your point of view. Every time I've seen give, they out performed every other band on the bill. haven't seen them in a couple years, so maybe they've slowed it all down. the last few 7" i got from them were a little more mellow i guess. Then again those all came out in 2011 to 2012 as well... I'm really out of the loop.
Nashville Harcore empresario Chase Wilson has started a web store for his printing/graphic design company, Conspire Prints. Mostly selling weird parodies of classic punk and hardcore shirt designs, but also some band merch and old screen printed gig posters as well as generic "Nashville hardcore" gear for AM/PM Booking. My favorite is the Lincoln Park/Floor Punch rip off. Most of the shirts are printed by my homie Ross of Merch Kitchen, who also plays in Nashville H/C outfits Guide and Enough. so you know, throw some business their way.
