I'm quite fond of Nightwish ^-^
though I admit that I don't love them as much as I did in the past
I haven't taken a look at the new album yet
hmm I really just wish that they had the Century Child album in itunes ;o; so many songs I love from that cd so I was disappointed to find that it was not there

Aww I loved Century Child biggrin I liked the feel on that album. Although The Elven Path is one of my favorite songs from them. It's delightfully nerdy/mythological biggrin

Century Child is not on iTunes because of copyright issues (You know that Tarja and Marcelo drama). But you can get it on the NW shop or in amazon.

And I really suggest you listen to "Imaginaerum" it's an outstanding album.

I enjoyed Once fairly well, but abysmally shitty songs like "Wish I Had an Angel," "Higher Than Hope," and "Dead Gardens" weigh it down.

Imaginaerum is probably the only album since Oceanborn where I liked nearly every song.

Every track was unique.
Granted, Rest Calm was a sleeper for me, every other track really held my attention well.
Obvious, noteable tracks: Slow Love, Slow; Song of Myself; Last Ride of the Day; Ghost River

Song of Myself was great. So fantastic. Walt Whitman would have been proud.

I agree! I also love Scaretale and I Want My Tears Back. It was probably the best album Nightwish has ever made. It's incredible, something different my ears have never been exposed to. It's just magical.
