I've been interested in tribal fusion belly dance for a while. I want to take a class in my area once I'm out of school smile

I'm not super fond of the dance style, but I looooooove the music! x.x

Just Egyptian so far.

A friend taught me how to belly-dance. We even had our own troupe going for a little while. Unfortunately post-college every one has scattered to the four corners of the globe (well.. not quite but close enough).

I still try to dance some on my own though. Nothing on stage... I've only danced on stage once. I like dancing for the work out and for me, not so much for an audience.

Some of my favorite videos are from the All Russian Belly Dance Olympiad. You can find vids from the competition on youtube. Those girls (and guys!) can really dance!

Some of the moves in belly dance look really good on thin women, and some look good on curvier women 3nodding It all depends on your attitude and passion for the dance/routine. I'm sure you'd look great ^-^
