How would that help?
If there are many more demon players than angel players the results will likely be the same.
Demons can attack a lot more and heal each other more if there are more of them.

It seems like events are pretty much all the same anymore anyway.
Pick a side in some made up battle.
Attack and heal
donate gold and cash.
And if you donate more gold and cash you get to attack and heal more.

I realize there are some limitations to what one can do with forum based events but it feels like years ago there was more variety to it.
And.. not forums... but I rather enjoyed some of the zOMG based events - running around trying to kill boss monsters as a group and such. It seemed less repetitive and I enjoyed the actual battle regardless of the prize.

I agree about the zOMG events, even for Christmas they were more fun than forum events, in my opinion at least. They also used to do things with the towns too. I remember the one year where you had to chase Jack around to get stuff. I feel like they are taking the easier way out for events anymore.

Yes. It seems like any more they have two things. "Event" and "Kickstarter".
Then they just change the words and art a bit and add a few zeros to the required donation amounts and give it a new name.
Lather, rinse, repeat.

Having grown up with Christians all around me, who were quite happy to whip it out whenever they got the chance, I have grown rather tired of the "awesomeness" and Divine Purity of Angels.

I'd rather go for Demons. They are more interesting.

No one is completely Evil or Good for no reason. And in how Angels and Demons are usually portrayed, Demons are the ones who get my sympathy and Interest.

while demons are interesting in the bible, which is just the christian's pirate code(insert barbosa quote here) it doesn't matter what the bible says, the character in all how you make them, just because one book makes the angel seem lame, doesn't mean all angel are made out like that

as I said my angel character is always a "fallen" angel, not completely a demon but just casted out from heaven for questioning his father, he lives on earth alone, he hates his father for casting him out but not to the point of forsaking his angelic abilities, hes on that line of holding onto his "humanity" if you will, while still holding that resentment towards his father, but also sometimes I portray him as having the life force of his demon friend stuck inside him, which makes it even harder to fight dark urges

Anyhow, I've just got this opionon about the entire Angels VS Demons business, partly because of real life Christians in my past, and partly due to how people portrayed them in Roleplays here at Gaia :/

Honestly, I'm more pissed about the fact that this event is made for making money than the rest...like everything else on Gaia, honestly. Aaand the fact we don't have private forums for the factions, but that's secondary.

The primary difference is that fallen angels score around twenty points higher on the mary sue litmus.

Honestly, it's not even that angels are outnumbered, I was a dark elf in the dark elf vs. vampire event, and I did a lot of work that year, that was the last fun Halloween event for me on gaia, they've been getting shittier every year, but the dark elves were out numbered in that Halloween event, but they had a program that figured the math on the unevenness and fixed it, as well as each faction has their own sub form, so even if the vampires out numbered us hugely, guess what, we had people dedicated to just healing, we could actually fight the vampires and eventually win with it being a balanced event in some form.

Unlike this event where the majority rule is really just that, Angel "healing threads" are just a conjoined hunting grounds for the demons to attack weak and just healed prey.
So pathetic,

On the upside I finally had the excuse to make an angel outfit I wanted to make for awhile, or motivation I should say.

Well, I just came on and tried it, and I'm frankly shocked by the ridiculous wait time between doing any actions (unless you pay GC, of course). If that terrible wait time weren't there, people might actually be able to do something.

Edit: I see the time only applies to doing multiple actions on the same person, but that's still a serious issue. I can imagine people having a hard time making kills, let alone healing.
