Lol, I identify with this quite a bit, the other day I dashed outside just to see a double-complete-rainbow.....I stood out there for a while just grinning like an idiot and staring....then I remembered there was freight to unpack. sweatdrop Either way I'm glad you always take the time to stop by, your notes are always so wonderful, so of course I feel the desire to thank you. Your poetry really speaks to me, it's exactly the sort I usually read in real life, i hope someday you get some of your stuff published.....I would buy that book in a heartbeat.
As you walk along minding your own business, a red box lands beside you. Looking up, you see a red shirted girl barely covering a yawn as she runs along the bridge you happened to be next to, her black and gold hair looking somewhat messy as if she had just woken up and hadn't spent much time brushing it. She's gone within moments, and you know if you try to look for her she'll be long gone. You examine the box and notice a note tucked under the white ribbon:
I meant to do my work today,
But a brown bird sang in the apple tree,
And a butterfly flitted across the field,
And all the leaves were calling me.
And the wind went sighing over the land,
Tossing the grasses to and fro,
And a rainbow held out its shining hand--
So what could I do but go?

P.S. I wouldn't say that I went out of my way to remember you... I remember most gaians who take the time to give me full responses and not just a quick thanks...
