i looked up the number of sex offenders registered in my zip code
it's 20 which doesn't seem like a whole lot
until i realized that almost all of them live in my neighborhood

one lives right down the street emotion_awesome

remind me to never leave my house ever again ok

But they give that title out.. like a stranger gives candy to a kid.

I know a guy, "sex offender" bought alcohol for a random group of teenagers.

they could've easily done something as simple as pee in a public area
or maybe it was one of those guys who had sex with an underage girl w/ a fake id and got framed
maybe someone had sex in public, who cares

No. Not me.

almost all of these guys are accused of child molestation or sexual battery/assault
they tell you what they did, it's not like they just label them as sex offenders and put them on the site
they even tell you if they tried to avoid registration

I just tried to look mine up but I live in Canada and apparently the registration can't be viewed by the public unless you have reasons to be concerned.

as far as i know if a sex offender moves to your street s/he has to tell his neighbors that he is, in fact, a sex offender
you can take the information as you want but you're within your right to know
