I think there might be one or two more that I can't remember at the moment.

everytime I see someone list zelda as a rpg I facepalm.

Well.... seeing as Skies of Arcadia Legends is my favourite game of all time, it would also have to be my favourite rpg.

Other games that would get the nod are Valkyria Chronicles, Demon's Souls and Golden Sun 1&2.

I totally agree! I loved Nero both as a character and as a fighter biggrin It was a cool spin on the series! I have to admit, though.. I was totally happy to be back in the familiar style of Dante halfway through the game. He's still my favorite :3 The story to that game was pretty awesome, as well!

I have one word to describe my love for 4: Yamato
Dante and dark slayer style is total love. XD

Oh wow, Skies of Arcadia... I had totally forgotten about that game! I loved it when I had it. Man, people give the Gamecube so much crap, but the truth is, when it first started off, it had some GREAT titles! It just lost it's glory towards the end.

I totally agree.

Well Zelda was originally an adventure game, back in the days of the 2-D stuff. So you're right, it WASN'T an RPG.
NOW, though, it is totally an RPG. Ever since they gave Link depth and personality, you're adopting his persona as your own when you play the game. It's an RPG.
