This is awesome! I want to learn German really bad. Do any of you have any suggestions or tips? Maybe know of any place online that aids in teaching it or a program that does it really well?
I have started to self teach myself but I'm not sure how well it is actually working out for me.

Watch movies in German, or buy a one way plane ticket to Germany. You'll learn German whether you want to or not.

movies that you already know the idea of what is going in, children type movies, where you can understand what is going in but need to focus on what is being said.

Oh wow castle *O* I love the castles around the area here, we are fairly close to the 'Dillenburger Schloss' I saw the tower, never went in there but it looks gorgeous. German culture is awesome!


Edit: I have next month December 15th my Deutsch für Zuwanderer test in Marburg. Maybe we can write in German so I can practice a bit whee

Also aus Kassel kommen die Grimm's, daher ist die Stadt ziemlich bekannt. : D

Any movie in german with english subs is fine. If you watch them over and over, you're really going to learn the one or other word and some day you can understand them without subs.

Dass ist super. Ich bin so Nervös für mein Test. D: Ich denke dass ich diese oder nächste Woche endlich Nachrichten von die Staatliche Schulambt bekom. Dann weiss ich endlich ob ich Realschule oder Gymnasium tun muss. Es klinkt vielleicht langweilig aber ich will gern Notar werden smile .

Ich wohne weiter in ein sehr kleines Dorf. Hier leben ungefähr 700 Leute. Ich habe die ganze Tag langeweile!
