I just showed a bunch of English music video clips to my students. I tried to make them sing "Somewhere over the Rainbow" and showed them a clip of Tim singing.

Nobody wanted to sing!!! Ahh. I want to put them in a music video, too.

I would like to live their one day 3nodding
But I'm poor...
So it might take me some time before I can get the money to live there.... sweatdrop

Where do you live?
I think it's cheaper to live in Korea than in the U.S.

I live in Oregon
It probably is
But I want to have a steady flow of money coming in before I move anywhere

i slept in class too >w< the teacher hits people whoa and i thought they only do it in the korean dramas xd

Nope, it's a regular occurrence - especially in rural areas.

Anyway, I just kicked two students out into the hallway. Apparently they weren't being rude, they just misunderstood me and I was on short on patience. Oh well.

Being a teacher is hard! I don't hit, though.

wow your a teacher O_o''?
no hit is good ;D

but I want to go there...
if i stayed in my home country
I could probably ask to go there for a vacation
or somethin...
but im in America rite now..sigh
im learning korean charcters altho im sluggin along
heart Saranghae BIG BANG,Suju,DBSK,SE7EN and many more that i cant remember heart
^-^also wanna be an artist there...

Honestly, America is a good place to be right now. Well...actually the US Dollar is worth more in Korea nowadays so now would be a good time to come on vacation so you get more spending money!

I guess...
I dont get the currency there tho...
its like by coins or something...

Coins?
Korea has some coins...just like any other country. I usually use bills. They come in 1000, 5000, 10000 won increments. Possibly larger...but the ATM never lets me take that much. When the won plummeted last week, it was 1485 won to $1, but it has rebounded to about 1200 won to $1.

what i meant was a dollar here is like a thousand and more there...
which doesnt make sense to me cause..
in my country...the Phillipines which is pretty near there has only like 50 for a dollar here..
same for Taiwan...
confused^-^;
ohh and wats the easiest way to learn how to speak
korean than a teacher?
do those software/programs help?

Yess I'm a teacher. But, I think my students don't really think of me as one since I'm not that much older than them. I'm probably more like an older sister! Students always talk in class. sweatdrop

Mmm...I haven't used any software or programs. I just bought a book and taught myself some, and I also have some Korean language partners. I exchange English for Korean. Or I just ask the Korean teachers around me. ^^ I'm sure you could give the software a try!

Well yes, the dollar is worth more than a thousand won, but it basically has a similar amount of buying power. I treat my 1000 dollar bill just like I'd treat $1. Everything is the same except you add three 0s to your bill.

I am an Irish/German American. I already know very basic Japanese, so Korean should be alittle easier for me to learn ,or at least that is what my friend tells me. I just have to wait till next semester to take it at school. I get all giddy just thinking about it.
