When I first gained access, I bought a decent amount of stuff from the loyalty shop, but now that there's nothing I want and there's not much new stuff, I don't really visit it.

It's not the most glamorous job ever, but they have benefits including a 401k plan. I don't think I've ever had a job with a 401k plan.

Congrats!! 401k can be great, as long as they're used correctly. Some people think taking money out of it for little things is OK, but there's a HUGE amount taken out for that, as in 10% penalty PLUS your tax rate. And whenever you change jobs, be sure to do a Direct Rollover into another retirement account, since you probably don't want to let it sit with an old employer and the Direct Rollover lets you avoid those big penalties. Though the biggest problem is that people don't put enough into retirement accounts to begin with.

But you probably knew some of that already. I just get passionate about money things sometimes. redface
