Next option would be to go to home depot and tell them your situation.
They know what can help in each individual situation~!

(Bug stuff is usually inside/near garden stuff)

That's an option I'll have to keep in mind.

I'm really hoping that we move, though. It seems this place is really starting to turn into the worst place to live.
It's just that we can't afford to move right now, now that Gabe has car payments again (he had his car paid off before the wreck, but he has a new car and has to start all over again).
Not to mention my car has been a pain and is costing us quite a bit.

I really don't like being an adult. I hate it. Everything about it sucks so far.
;n;

I'm kinda liking this 'growing up' thing, actually. My jobs aren't the greatest, but I like making money. emotion_dowant Then again, I don't have a car yet and I still get money for food and whatnot from my mom. So maybe I still don't count yet. rofl

@ Voting and Stuff: I'm underage, BUT I STILL VOTED!! biggrin My mom let me push the buttons for candidates, and since I'd vote for the same people she voted for, it's like I voted. xD

Also, took my yearbook picture in my bumble bee costume like a boss. cool

I think I'd be doing a lot better if my car wasn't giving me so much trouble.
Most of my money is going towards that, though.
><
I'm lucky in that I don't have car payments or anything, but I really think I'll have to start looking at a new car soon.
Which means Gabe and I will both be spending money on car payments.
Which, in the end, means money will be extremely tight.
And that makes me want to give up on planning my wedding, which I've kinda already given up on anyway...

D: Awwww, don't give up just yet!! Make small plans for the wedding, like this month accomplish one thing toward your wedding~

And you could always find a used car, right? 3k for a car?

I'm just frustrated. My grandparents said they would help me with anything I need, and they offered to pay for all the repairs to my car but I hate that I have to rely on them.
A used car would be nice, but I'll have to do a lot of research on that one. My roommate got a used car and ended up having all kinds of problems that resulted in him having to spend more to get it fixed than he did to buy it in the first place. So you gotta be careful with used car dealerships.

The only upside right now is that Gabe recently got a promotion and a raise. I think that pretty much guarantees him a permanent spot with the Army Corps of Engineers in this district, so maybe we won't have to worry about moving next summer.

If your grandparents want to help you out, I think you should let them. And if you want to show them some gratitude, cook them a big meal or whatever you think would make them really happy! It's good to receive help from loved ones. ^_^

You should bring a friend who's familiar with mechanics and stuff if you start checking out dealerships. That's what some of my friends and my mom do.

That's a big upside!

That's actually a really good idea.
:3

Oh yes, a huuuge upside!

On an unrelated note, your costume was cute! It sucks that barely anyone else dressed up on your campus, though.

I sorta wish I had some plans today. This weather kept that from happening, though.

I dressed up as a white cat today.
And another co-worker dressed as a black cat, by chance.
So we were "cat sisters" as she called it.

Also a guy told me I was "looking quite sassy today" and another said my ears were kickass.
And some foreign guy said "You're so cute! Is this for Halloween?" because they don't celebrate it.

I wish I would've had a reason to dress up today.
I didn't go anywhere, though.
Icky weather.

Your uni has a yearbook?

Also it doesn't even feel like halloween. A few people dressed up but it was like ehh.

Three kids just came to my door only wearing winter coats.
I shouldn't have given them candy. emotion_donotwant

The only defense I can give those children is that it's probably cold out and their parents don't want them to get sick, but the kids wanted to trick or treat so a compromise was made that they had to wear jackets.
I know this from experience. I either did that, or I had to wear my costume under my coat.
Due to the unpredictability of the end of October, we never knew if it would be cold or not and usually my costumes didn't keep me super warm on their own.

But they weren't even wearing costumes under the coats? I mean... at least do that!

It's not that cold tonight... I went out barefoot without my hoodie to light my pumpkin. :c
I can see parents being more protective of kids but... man. I'm just disappointed.
I gave away three pieces of candy out of 60. I don't want this candy in my house, tempting me.User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.
