I was quite disappointed when Cordell didn't know either.
How do they not know he used to work for Gambino as a scientist (to me it seems like they only know him as the shop owner). Even if they didn't know he beat up vampires, I find it hard to believe they don't know the intellect behind him. Scientist's are dangerous.

Yeah, and the past manga, even if it was lighter, did say he had a mother complex, so...hrm. Yeah.

Though actually, Reapersun does have the portrait labeled Mother Kuro in her journal, but she doesn't actually look like either of them (black eyes, purple skin, wavy hair instead of gold/green eyes, grey skin, and straight hair) so who knows? It's not explicitly stated in the manga that she's their mother, so that could have changed between then and now.

Also, I'm tempted to start a Cordell For Don organization thread, because really, Don Kuro sucks at being a mafia boss. Killing gods doesn't turn a profit. emotion_donotwant

i'm soooo happy the elves are getting some lovin XP. I suppose i'm bias though. I love how this story is shaping up, i've always liked the don, thought he as awesome from the get-go and it's really cool to see his story unfold.
