Gino's Harem was established in 2005 originally as a thread of neutrality between the Gambino and Von Helson debate. At the time, Gino was a neutral character and was affiliated with neither family having had amnesia at the time. This thread was driven by the discussion of the current events and primarily around the adoration of Gino's character.

Today, while our main subject of discussion still is about Gino Gambino and his exploits and future, our discussion extends to the entirety of Gaia's storyline, characters, and Gaia's own particular universe.So, even if you aren't particularly interested in Gino Gambino, if you enjoy Gaia and enjoy talking about Gaia's world and story, you're absolutely welcome here!

Facts and Rumors

Rock hard facts:

Gino is Johnny K. Gambino's Son
Gino lost his memory shortly after the explosion at Gambino's mansion in Halloween 2004.
He was found at the Durem Reclamation Facility.
Born May 13 1988 [This appeared on his profile before the new profile system was introduced]
Born on Friday the 13th
Gino shares the same birthday as VO
Gino was taken hostage by the Von Helson sisters at the Second Gaian Anniversary Ball.
He was returned to his father after Gambino agreed to leave Durem.

Gino's 2004 Olympic profile:

Gino regained his memory on April 1st 2005 right before his father had been shot.
Gino was found on the beach by Sasha on August 5, 2005.
His houses have been destroyed three times to date: explosion, collapse, and fire.
Gino has disappeared three times: Once after Halloween 2k4, once after Tower Day (April 1, 2005), and once after the mansion burned down.
After Gino's third disappearance, he returned as the superhero "The Masque" to stop the fight between Jack and Santa.
Gino has, indeed, kissed Sasha.
He has been infected by the G-Virus, and was given his father's cells so that he may be a "suitable" heir to the Gambino name.
Gino shares a mother with Louie and Ian, making Gino a half brother to Louie and Ian.
His mother's name is Rosalie, who disappeared shortly after his birth.
He went to a boarding school, where he was teased and bullied by other boys for his sunken chest, and was once held down so that they could drink soup out of it.
After being sent out of his house during the Vampire arc of 2007, he continues to reside with Liam.

General Rumors
Gino is Gambino's clone. [Gino was born from Rosalie]
Gino is gay/bi.
Gino's memory was erased by something other than the explosion.
Maybe Gino didn't want to leave the Von Helsons' side.
Gambino's large donation project besides his mansion is to hold something big for Gino. [Confirmed by admins that Gambino constructed the tower specifically to plant another mansion in Durem when it would fall.]
Gino is Labtech X. [99.9999% false. Labtech X's identity is unknown, and it would be hard to fight against yourself.]
Gino caused the explosion at Gambinos mansion.
Lex is related to Gino in some way.
Gino is actually very sickly.
The item descriptions on the Elegant Veil relates to Gino's mother, that it belonged to her.

Current Rumors Pertaining to the April 2k5 incident:
The tower fell because angry zombies had planted a bomb there to get revenge on Gambino and Gino.
All the NPC's lived through the Tower's Fall. [True, they did survive the fall, even the Von Helson sisters.]
Gino was the one who shot his dad. [False. Zhivago was the sniper.]
Gambino was not the target of the sniper, Gino was. [False, Count Von Helson confirmed he was aiming for Gambino.]
Future Gino is actually the sniper, who traveled back in time to get revenge on his dad. [False, Zhivago was the sniper.]

The Dust Clears! The Gambino Mansion Lies Over the Old Von Helson Mansion:
Gino was safe and sound inside one of the mansions. [He fell into the sea when the tower collapsed.]

Gino Returns:
Gino knew everything that was going on.
Gino planned it all and made it so he washed up on the beach.
That is not the real Gino found on the beach.
Gino was saved by mermaids!

Ian meant to kill Gino.

Gino is died! [False, he lived.]
It was Ian who burned down Gino's mansion! [Most likely false. This was never expressly confirmed or denied. But the fire is believed to have been caused by LabTechX.]
Gino deliberately tried to steal Sasha away from Ian.

The pills that Ian was so worked over gave Gino super powers so that he could become the Masque.

The First Gaian Anniversary Ball:
Here, we are first introduced to Gino, the son of "Gaia's Most Powerful Man." When you first entered the ball, you were greeted by Gino and given party favors.

The Second Gaian Annual Ball:
At this user-run event, Gino occasionally would drop by, giving out G-Pins. He basically tells you to keep it on the downlow that he's handing out these pins, as it seems that he should not have been doing so.

First Gaia Olypmics:
Gino took part in the race.
This is where perhaps that the rumors of Gambino abusing Gino started (Comments such as not letting him eat at the table were mentioned, as well as forcing him to cheat through the Reclamation Facilty.) (Did Gambino really abuse Gino?)
Gino won fifth place.

During the Halloween Bash:
It was a "Birthday" party being held for Gino, but noting he wasn't around much at all...
Gino's Birthday is in May.
After the explosion when Gambino lost everything, Gino had disappeared.

During the Christmas event:
Gino found his father at the Durem Reclamation facility before Gambino was going to jump.
He has no memory of his father, but resided with him for the time being.

May 13, 2005! Gino's Birthday! A User Hosted Celebration

Unfortunately, there were no plot updates on that day. But there were people celebrating in honor of Gino's birthday!

spencer- kun, C.M.O.G. and I held a birthday party especially for him. It was in a private guild created just for the occasion. Over 300 people signed up to attend! It was quite a party!

Although it was quite festive, it wasn't the same without the boy we were celebrating for. It was a shame Gino couldn't attend, but it would have been a shock if he did!

GINO RETURNS!
A special picture released at a convention hinted the return of Gino after three long months of his absence:

August 5, 2005: The Much Anticipated Summer Update! (Gino Truly Returns!)

After months upon months of waiting, we finally have been given the much sought-after update that had us buzzing around for quite some time.

The first pushes toward the plot update was around July 22nd, when the dialogues for Ian and Sasha changed. Ian talked about how he had been daydreaming a lot lately, and wanted to take Sasha out hunting for seashells. While Sasha said Ian had been coming over a lot and mentioned that she thought seashell hunting sounded "like fun!"

August 5 - Off to Isle De Gambino! There, you saw the little sprites of Ian and Sasha by the beach.

Halloween 2K5 - October 28-30, 2005

In the last update, we were introduced to a new character, Bucho, who is head of security at Gambino Mansion.

Instead of Gino making the announcement that the mansion will be opened for the Halloween party, Bucho did.

Once you got to the mansion, you were told by Bucho that Gino had prior plans that night. If you wanted to see what he was up to, you would click on "View Storyline Direct Feed" and you would be given a manga!

The Durem Gambino mansion did not nearly have as many room as the Isle Gambino Mansion, as it was only composed of the East Wing, West Wing, and the Main Room which was called "The Masquerade 2k5/6".

Trial of Ian Started on January 18, 2006
In the first time EVAR, the admins have left it to the Gaian population to decide whether Ian was GUILTY or INNOCENT to the charges of him setting the Gambino Isle Mansion on fire!

For three days, a handful of NPC's (including Gino) testified for the case. Cindy Donovinh was there at the Durem courthouse reporting the trial.

Unfortunately, we have no links, pictures, or any other forms of archived information about this as the forum that held the trial no longer exists.

The voting took place for five days starting on Satuday, January 21 and lasted to Wednesday 25, 2006.

Gaia Anniversary Ball 2k6 February 18, 2006
So, in honor of Gaia's birthday, Gino opened up the Gambino mansion in Durem for all of Gaia. Hooray! On the front page of Gaia, this banner was displayed:



When you went into the mansion, you were probably greeted by either Gino, or any of the members of the G-Team (Edmund, Logan, and Leon). You could get items from any one of them should you happen to come across them. The G-team handed out G Glasses of Pink, Blue, and Yellow. Gino handed out G Buckles!

Before Halloween, aliens have been showing up, along with a strange new character named Ron Bruise. There was a whole lot of user interaction in this event with Ron Bruise and new NPC aliens. Someone asked Ron Bruise if he ever met any of the Gambinos, and according to him, he's met all of the Gambinos! So, does that mean he's met Gino, too? Or is it some other Gambino family?

In the update previous to this one, it was revealed that Edmund and Gambino are currently working on a project of their own. Ian had been staying inside the Gambino mansion as a safety precaution after being attacked by the sniper, since he is linked with a top-secret project of G-Corp. Gambino, Edmund, and Ian left the Gambino mansion to a shelter, leaving as to where Gino would be a complete mystery, which is soon answered in this manga update.
...Boy, does Gambino sure deserve the Parent of the Year Award.

A new event! Gaia prom! It was a new event in which users could play new games and mingle with fellow users, prom-style. Gino was in the prom comic, wanting to ask Sasha to go with him, and taking Liam's advice on it.

Gaia Rejected Olympics: July 21 - 27, 2008
The Gaia Rejected was a big event that featured new NPC's, new games, and a comic for each city representing a separate side.

No mention of Gino in the comics, but there was a sit-up game that featured him! In an attempt to build up muscle like Liam, you had to mash two keys back and forth to make Gino sit up as fast as possible. The game also had some cute sound effects! When you completed the game, you got to see Gino posing for you in a sad example of a flex, haha:
