Ming ignored the sarcasm. It was understandable, so she wasn't upset by it or anything of that nature.

"Those questions will be answered when the time comes. For now, your current bakery will be okay. We want you to get yourself back in business there. We'll give you a week to get back into the groove of things. During that time, we'll be coming over to examine and prepare for the next part of our plan. Your part in this is very light. Leave everything else to us. Of course, you're going to be our public face come actual time to do business."

She tapped another dash of ash into the tray, taking a moment to catch her breath and inhale more of the nicotine. She blew the smoke out from between her lips, forming a small ring before it faded away into the air.

"It's really that simple. We will funnel an advance pay of your funds to your card, just enough to get you back up and going. Once your shop is ready, sixty percent of your profits will go to us."

"Oh, how generous of you. Extortion must be the word of the day." Lia expected this much. Forty percent was just enough to cover the bakery expenses alone without leaving her with any sort of salary. She would only be able to hire one or two part timers, but she never needed a large amount of employees. Hopefully she would be able to track Chuck down. His cell phone number was probably the same.

"Guess I should head out, then. The sooner this gets started, the better." She stood to her feet and turned to leave Ming behind. She was already running through various scenarios in her head. She knew that there was no way she would be allowed to handle all of the business without some sort of supervision or surveillance. They probably already replaced V's bugs with their own. She mused with a slight chuckle. It was better if he didn't find out about this. she would clean up her own mess. Besides, she honestly didn't want to hear him call her weak again.

"Wait. I'm not done yet."

Ming dumped her cigarette and stood to her feet, walking from the table and stopping near Lia. She reached into her suit, handing Lia a card.

"This card has my number on it. I will call you a couple of days from now to check up on your progress. You are free to call me if you have any questions or concerns."

Ming folded her arms, giving a sigh as she was happy to finally have gotten that over with. She hated having to do little errands like this, especially for some newcomer who walked in and lost one hundred grand to Ko. Why was she so special that Ko suddenly wanted her to do something this big. Usually, he would have her doing deliveries or some other minor thing. But instead, Lia was currently going to be used to do another expansion of their business. What did he see in this woman?

"You're lucky, you know. If it was anyone else, Ko would have sent you straight to the whorehouse. You got the looks, so I'm wondering why he didn't do so in the first place. You look like you would have made a good amount of money with what you got going."

Lia took the card, but she was pretty sure she would never use it. There was something about Ming that she just didn't like or trust. She seemed like the type to give her bad advice just so she would get into a dangerous situation. Then again, she felt that way about all of the Triads at this point. "Who knows. I seemed to of had a run of luck with the games tonight. Perhaps it had an effect on Ko." She replied with a shrug, not concerned with the man's reasons. She wasn't going to the whorehouse, so why would she care about his reasons?

"I'm just a simple baker. Are we done here?" She glanced at Ming.

Ming looked straight at Lia. They stood face to face for a moment. Then, both of her hands came up, clasping both sides of Lia's face before leaning in and kissing her on the lips. The kiss lasted for about a good five seconds, meant to keep Lia from being able to pull away so soon. She would let go at the end of that, and just start laughing.

"You certainly have the lips. It's a shame."

She rolled her hand at her lackeys.

"Come on, boys."

And they left with her out a side a door. There were a few men who had witnessed the scene, being just as confused as Lia likely was.

!!! Lia immediately flailed, rather comically as Ming randomly kissed her. As soon as her face was released, she fell to her knees and started gagging. Well, she didn't throw up or anything, but she wanted to. "I'LL FREAKING KILL YOU LADY!" She screamed out before the red suit disappeared. Darn, she she almost kept her composure through the transaction. After a moment, her angry gaze went towards the onlookers. "The ******** are you looking at?!" She barked.

The guys quickly returned their gazes to their slot machines, cards, and mahjong, no longer wanting to deal with a woman who had some quarrel with the suits of this place. In the room above, Ko was sitting in his seat, having watched the entire transaction.

"Ming is so forceful sometimes," he said to Chioki, a man with long black hair, who was also Chinese, as well as Ko's best friend.

Chioki replied: "Are you sure you can trust her?"

"We'll have to see. Still, this is a very good opportunity that we will not pass up."

"Yeah that's what I thought." Lia stood up and stormed out of the casino, pissed off all over again. At least she had enough cash on hand to hail a cab to her hotel room, though she would need to check out in the morning since her vacation had been cut short by a pushy rape kisser and her boss. People just naturally got out of Lia's way now that she was involved with the Triads.

Jay hopped out of the taxi, shaking her head while fishing around in her cleavage for some money. The whole thing had been a giant ******** up, Kitler had some serious explaining to do, people had died during their 'rescue' mission. Only for it to become more than apparent that the woman was never kidnapped to begin with.
She felt sorry for the man, but all she could think of was if things had gone the other way...If her or Naota were overpowered....They would of lost their lives for nothing. Hell even Cale could of lost her life due to them busting in.

So as she paid the taxi driver her eyes would wander over her companions, counting heads so to speak. They had taken an alternative exit from the hotel, having used the service elevator, then having to use a terribly unstable fire escape to get back to street level. Jay still hadn't managed to wash the blood from her hands, and it was beginning to bother her a little, since now that they were back at the casino she assumed she would be put back to work.

Giving Cale a slightly sympathetic smile she would walk away, moving through the doors to the outer bar, not even bothering to stop she would continue through to the casino. Reaching back to rub the small of her back in an attempt to try relieve the persistent throbbing that was a result of being thrown into the dresser. Looking about quickly she noticed Ko was not nearby, so it gave her time to clean up and dress to cover any marks on her person.

Adjusting the straps of her small bloodied black dress, Jay would begin to walk towards the changing room.
Making the assumption that Cale, Kitler and maybe Naota would come inside the casino anyway.

Jay would make it to the changing room unstopped. It wasn't like many of the people were paying attention to her, other than the guards, who raised a brow when they noticed the blood. It was only when she was undressing herself to her garments that Ko entered the room with two of his men, uncaring of the privacy that she was suppose to have been afforded.

Having removed the dress first she would grimace as the darkening bruise was very noticeable on her back, not to mention the blood she wiped on the dress had seeped through to leave smudges on her stomach. This was not good, since now she would need to clean up before putting any outfit on.
Turning around quickly as the door to the room opened and closed behind her, staring now at the guards who accompanied Ko. Why on earth would he bring guards? She was not exactly going to attack him...Or maybe she would? It all depended on if he made a move to cause her harm first.

Jay was still rather tense up from her adventure, considering she had wanted to keep fighting the man who's blood soiled her smooth pale flesh.
Fixing her dark brown eyes on Ko she would raise an eyebrow, "Is there something wrong?"

Thankfully she was still in her under garments, a nice black lingerie set that accentuated her voluptuous curves...Just like everything else she wore, and of course the spiked collar and combat boots she favoured wearing so much.

The two guards did their best to keep their composure, though their eyes roamed her body from where they stood. Ko, however, was a little bit harder to sway in that regard when it came to women and their provocative appearances. He walked up to Jay. Or rather, pass her as he took hold of the dress and examined it before looking at the traces of her "rescue" on her skin.

"Hm."

He turned around, carrying the dress in his hand as he paced a bit, seeming to be in thought.

"Did you leave anyone alive," he finally asked, his back turned to her as his head was bowed, still looking at her ruined attire.

The woman didn't care for his guards although it amused her that they seemed to enjoy admiring her body...Well who wouldn't, she was hot, and deadly. Flashing them a smile before letting her gaze follow Ko once more, he had picked up her dress...Maybe he was concerned for her current well being...Wait, no..No he wasn't.

"Alive...Yes, a few of the boys got away, the one I was playing with left saying he would see me again or some s**t..."

Shrugging a little as she answered his question as best she could, turning to try and find some kind of cloth to begin wiping the blood off her skin.

"Why does it matter? We got the girl."

Ko tossed the dress onto a seat next to him. Turning around to face Jay once more, he pocketed his hands as he said to her: "What matters is that they will associate those killings with you, Naota, and the girl you went after. This includes the old man, as well. If they know you guys were here, it's going to bring problems for me and for Renshu. As far as they're concerned, you're all on their hitlist."

Ko rubbed at his face, trying to suppress his frustration with the whole situation. This was exactly why he didn't want to be involved in any manner with this. It's exactly why he gave them the warning that he did: he didn't know them if it came to it.

Lowering her head she could not help but feel a little guilty, he was right, her not finishing the man off would now cause her boss problems...even if they were unlikely to walk in here...Being rival gangs of course? Then again stranger things had happened. Of course Jay had not really known much about these particular gangs, but there was only one thing to do...Finish the job.
Walking over she would pick up the bloodied dress, pulling it back on over her head she would finally look up, those dark brown eyes would seem rather cold as they bore into Ko.

"I will go and find the ones who got away then, hell I never wanted to ******** anyone to start with. But s**t got out of hand...."

Her tone was flat and just as cold as her eyes, the woman was rather annoyed at herself for letting it turn out like this, but even more so that her boss would bring up the fact that she had ******** up. All she wanted to do was have a shower and get back to work, make some money then go and compete in HoH. Now Jay had to go out and find the damn people from the stupid hotel.

As far as she was concerned...It was Kitler who had been the ultimate cause of all this trouble.

"I need help finding them, then once I am finished...I would like to collect my final pay and leave, since you obviously don't need the drama."
