The alcohol seemed to be numbing the thugs minds as Naota's movements seemed like flashes of speed compared to their own reactions. To him, it seemed like they were moving through water. He felt the impact of his knife clenching fist against the chain wielding Yakuza's gut, and the hot liquid that began to seep out over his hand. His white shirt was already ruined, blood stains darkening his sleeves. Not that the man cared much for it.

The fight wasn't over by any means, of course, and it seemed that the remaining gang members were finally getting their acts together. Before the shinobi could react, the unarmed one had managed to lace an arm around his throat and was yanking back viciously into a choke hold. A surprise, to be sure, but the man reacted on instinct. Dropping his chin as best as he could, he would push his shoulders against the man while grabbing onto the choking arm with both hands, knives pinned between his hands and the man's arms. He wasn't sure how strong this guy was, be he was going to be testing his arm strength as he tried to pry the Yakuza loose.

To make matters worse, another decided to take the opportunity to try and stab him. Logical, something that the small fighter would have done too, if the shoes had been on the other foot. Using the likely larger man's size against him, Naota would pull himself up and lash out with both legs. The goal being to knock back the man with the bottle in time for him to deal with the Yakuza choking him. Couldn't hold his breath forever.

"Kitler...? Oh for the love of--"

Cale rolled her eyes in exasperation, the picture was finally beginning to come together a bit. There was nothing for it but to go with them, so that matters could be set straight later. Glancing past the woman with the knives, Cale could see a single man, short but competent, struggling with a room full of yakuza.

"I'll go but we shouldn't--" Cale winced as Jay slashed at Sero, and in the other woman's eyes Cale saw that same reckless kind of joy that she herself felt before a good brawl (although her idea of a good ol' time didn't generally involve knives). "You know what? Nevermind."

Her words likely fell on deaf ears, as Sero and Jay seemed fairly intent on beating the s**t out of each other. That was their prerogative - Cale ducked by and out the door just as Sero sent a massive punch at the lady in the lil' black dress.

The scent of blood and alcohol, mingled with smoky residue from the fire trick, hit her full on in the face as she entered the other room. It made her head swim for a moment, but she shook it off and leaped into the thick of things, where the small man seemed to have finally gotten himself pinned down.

At almost six feet tall, it was quite likely that Cale fairly towered over most of the people in the room. Without hesitating, it took only a few strides of those long legs to place herself behind the gangster choking the shorter fighter. Looming above the two of them, Cale brought her surprising upper arm strength into play - she swung both hands in with the intent of soundly boxing the yakuza's ears, most likely blowing his eardrums and stunning him should the blow hit.

"We don't have time for this! Let's go."

Amber eyes blazing, she certainly didn't look like a damsel in distress.

This had transformed from a drinking party to a beating party within a couple of minutes. Men were already out on the ground and more were probably going to join in the next moment or so. The music switched over to another track, a rap beat filling the room as the next sequence of actions came into play from both parties.

The drunken men, although not at their best right now, still had the basic instinct of fighting. They could still throw a punch and do primitive things to defend themselves, even if it was all half-assed to begin with. Strength in numbers, they thought. The man currently choking Naota didn't have all his strength utilized considering his drunken state, but he still had enough muscle to be difficult to break from. With a little more time, Naota could break free, but at the current moment, it was a lot harder than he thought. He saved himself from a stabbing as he kicked the charging yakuza, knocking the man into the remaining two, who went falling backwards to the floor.

Just when the yakuza choking him was about to slam him into the nearby table, a friend came right into the room to save him, her fists striking into the ears of his attacker, causing the guy to yell out and letting go of Naota. The man holding the chair was confused by Cale coming out here and hitting their friends. It was almost as if she was actually with him. He didn't try to piece together what could be going on. He simply went with his boiling blood and decided to attack Cale from behind instead, sending the metal folded chair at her back. At this point, anyone that wasn't a yakuza was an enemy.

Jay's enhanced strength certainly was felt as her knee struck into his side. It made Sero let go of her, only to find his left arm suddenly caught in the crook of her arm. He couldn't comprehend why he felt like he was wrestling with a bear. Jay hardly looked as muscular as he was, and yet she was able to actually compete with him in a current grappling of arms.

"This woman," he thought as he gritted his teeth.

He wasn't done, yet, however. She did not know this, but he was the leader of the group that was throwing this party. Or rather, he was at a higher rank than the boys in the other room. Unlike them, he was the more composed member of the party, and likely the strongest, too. Her strength was magnificent, but he was still within the limits of being able to fight with her on square footing.

"Grrr!"

He made use of their grappling to his advantage. His left hand gripped at her right shoulder, while his right hand let go of her wrist, then gripped itself between her legs. He wasn't purposely touching her in the wrong places. Instead, he was using these grip points as a way to raise her off her feet and lift Jay overhead. If he succeeded with this task, he'll next throw her into the awaiting drawer upside down.

Success, if only for a moment could keep the woman in high spirits, it was not very often she got to play like this and not have to worry about doing serious damage...Since she didn't know this guy, and really didn't are if he suffered at her hands or not. Unfortunately he had leg go of her wrist, not to mention made his intentions clear as he began to lift her...Jay would pull both arms back before jamming her left hand down, blade out towards his right shoulder, while the blade in her right hand was being stabbed towards his left upper arm. It was kind of like using picks to create grip...The poor man who would throw her was the mountain.

If they hit of course.

Since if they even got a little way in before she would be thrown they would still tear a nice wound while she would crash into the edge of the dresser, the impact would cause the woman to cry out with pain. Arching her back after landing on the floor, she would hopefully have time to get to her feet and face her opponent again.
The pain once again sending a rush of adrenalin through her, making her all the more eager to carry on, especially since nothing felt like it was broken, bruised yes, but the pain had already faded to a mere tickle.

"Is that all?"

Licking her lips and giving the gang leader a twisted smile.

Naota's thrust kick worked far better than he could've ever hoped for, colliding hard with his assailant's chest and knocking the man backwards into his friends. The group of them tumbled like bowling pins, creating an opening for him to deal with the man still grappling with him before having to worry about any further retaliation for a few seconds. He'd never get the chance, of course, as the woman he'd come to save ended up returning the favor.

Feeling the choke artist's arm slack around him, Naota would pull free and spin about on his heel with the whole-hearted intent to plunge on his blades into the man's heart. Instead, he was met with a curious sight. Mysterious woman aside, there was still another Yakuza who was up. And more importantly, he was poised to knock Cale good from behind with that metal chair. Gritting his teeth, Naota would flick his hand towards the approaching gangster and let loose with one of his knives. It was made for throwing, after all, and his aim was pretty good from this range.

Whatever the outcome of that strike, there was still the one that'd been grappling him previously. Still armed with one knife, Naota would make a swing to try and slide the blade along the man's throat. Let him choke on his own blood.

Lia sighed as she idly pulled down on the slot machine lever. Her chin had come to rest on the palm of her unoccupied hand. She still had money even after a certain cheating gang leader cheated her out of her winnings.

Cheery, cherry, lemon.

She was more concerned with her new status as a Triad member than with her bad luck at the slots. She just needed to keep herself occupied as she pondered about her next move. What if she ran? Nah, that usually ended with being thrown into a ditch somewhere with those types. Well, first things first. She stood up and headed back to one of the lower betting mahjong tables. She needed to beat some small fries before she could make one bet at the high roller tables. Money from novices was still money.

"Argh!'

The one with the chair was struck into the left bicep by the knife, causing him to let it go as he stumbled backwards against the wall with a blade embedded in his arm. The one who was still disorientated by the strike into his ears had his eyes opened, watching as a quick attack came at him. But the alcohol distilled his reactions long ago, and he could only watch as the knife made its past. The following pain coming from his throat made him realize what just happened, causing him to gargle and his eyes to roll back as he fell backwards to the floor.

Four out of the nine men were left standing, with one of them against the wall. It hadn't been two minutes, and Naota managed to lower their numbers in quick time. The three able men were already to their feet, a little further back out of range as they acknowledged their assailant's abilities.

Then one of them shouted loudly in Japanese at Naota: "Who sent you?! Was it Toga?! Was it Hiroshima?! Who? Who, you b*****d!"

***

Sero yelped out in pain as the blades intruded into his body. And yet, he still rose the woman over him, defying the normal thresholds of pain that humans normally had. It may have just been the buzz of the alcohol and the heat of his previous bed tumble that was keeping his nerves from shouting out too much, but he managed to push through it and throw the bothersome woman away from him. The blades cutting out of his body were not the best feeling in the world, and he groaned furiously as the blood was poured from their cuts. The wounds, although deep looking, caused some rivers of blood to began falling down the curvatures of his muscles, he didn't seem too disabled by it.

In fact, he only tended to his wounds for a second or two before his eyes glared calmly at Jay across the room.

"Alright, alright," he said, prepping himself up. "Okay. I got it. I see how it is."

Sero was stood firm, arms down his side as he rolled his neck. The pain in both areas struck again with this movement, but he could endure it. He was Yakuza, after all. He had his fair share of fights and injuries in the past. It was safe to say that he was use to fighting against blades. This wasn't an easy encounter as Jay had thought. Sero slammed his right fist into the palm of his left hand. When his fist was revealed, Jay would see a glove now worn on it, with black disc-like objects on each knuckle. The glove was fingerless, like that of a biker's. The Yakuza rose his dukes up and took a normal brawling stance. His right foot slid forward, almost like he was able to pounce.

The men sitting at the table would look at Lia. At first, they didn't think anything of her. But then, they stood up, as if afraid, and suddenly walked away with their heads turned. Lia was probably elevated proudly by such a sight of fear for the moment. They men might have saw her victory throughout the night and left before the woman before them would take away their hard earned money.

But that dream was lifted when someone sat down across from her. It was a woman in a red suit, wearing a black top underneath and a white tie. She had on red transparent shades and wore her hair in a long black ponytail. Although she wore red lipstick to offset her masculine attire, it was clear that she was certainly someone part of the Triads. Four men had walked over with her in various colored suits, stopping behind her and standing there. She was certainly someone of a ranking position.

She removed her shades and smiled at Lia. Like a lot of smiles given by Chinese gangsters, one could never tell how honest they really were. It was like watching a snake grin or a Hyena laugh. Was it truth or simply mockery of the situation they were in? A sense of false security for the devil that awaited behind the visage of men.

"Hello. I was sent here by Mr. Yuen."

The woman spoke with that same accent that showed that English was her second language, just like Ko.

"Lia Wexler. Age 23. Owner of the Evergreen Bakery in Durem. A woman of your taste...I find it odd for you to be on this side of town. You have some guts coming into this casino and being such a high roller."

Jay could hear the yelling coming from the other room, noise meant that her companion was still alive and kicking, well she hoped he was. right now however Jay had truly drawn first blood this time, and it felt good. The sight of her opponent readying himself while his own blood dripped from his arms to the floor below only served to send a tingle of delight through her.
The woman was excited at the prospect of playing some more, although he would probably want to end her quickly, since the blood flow did not seemed to be slowing down...And the more she had him moving, the more she had is heart rate increase..The faster he would lose blood.

She was like a predator simply waiting for her prey to weaken.

"My, oh my...."

Eyes flicking to the newly adorned glove...Wondering if it was some type of new knuckle duster styled thing. Since she already had hers equipped, the trench blades were oh so wonderful for their hilts.
But she now wanted that glove, a prize for her to claim after possibly killing him?

Smirking as she flexed her fingers once before tightening them around the hilts once more, the cold steel pressing into the tops of her fingers.

He was ready and waiting? Such a gentleman, a shame he wasn't exactly fighting a lady, Jay was more manly than most men she knew, and hell she loved to take a beating if it meant she could give just as much back.

Sliding her left foot back, the heel pressed to the edge of the dresser where he had previously thrown her, a dull ache in her lower back reminding her of this. But otherwise she was loose, arms hanging at her sides and her shoulders slumped forward. She wanted him to come to her....Oh yes, this way if he did she could block and counter, where as she also wanted to test out his mobility...Injuries had a funny way of altering ones ability to move.
Then while pursing her lips and kissing the air before they spread into a devious smile she would speak, "Come and get me baby."

Taunting was another tactic that tended to work well, aiming to make him act out of anger rather than think a move through.

Cale didn't have time to stand around and watch, although she did take an instant to be sure that her knife-wielding ally regained his feet alright. That split instant would have been her undoing though, as she hadn't noticed the man behind her, ready to send the metal frame of the chair smashing into her back.

As it was, for a split instant she thought that her 'rescuer' had decided to turn on her - she watched as the throwing knife whizzed through the air, turning her head to watch it fly over her shoulder and embed itself into the arm of her would-be attacker.

Forcing herself to stay in the game, she pivoted the rest of the way around and used the momentum to further the strength of her punch as she aimed to slam her fist firmly into the already injured man's jaw in a vicious right hook that would also smash his head against the wall. The movement was swift and practiced, and if she hit the sweet spot she was aiming for he would be out like a light. Better that she finish the job with a non-lethal blow, than the hapless gangster to suffer death at the end of one of those blades. Speaking of, she would snatch the throwing knife back, if given the chance. Always best to be armed, even though she didn't particularly favour blades.

She took the opportunity presented by the brief lull while one of the Yakuza started shouting Japanese. It was all meaningless to her, but it was also a chance to make a move for the door. Thinking as she would with her own partner, Cale tried to communicate this with her eyes; catch her ally's eye and then meaningfully flick her gaze to the door. She hung back so that the two of them could cover each other's backs, instead of lunging ahead without him.

This was obviously a woman who was used to fighting, and doing so with a partner to boot.

"Hey, where are you guys going?" Lia asked with a confused expression. Did they not want to be involved with her now that she was involved with those Triad people? She was about to stand up to find another table when she was joined by a woman in a red suit. "Oh.." One look at her suit and her enterage told her everything that she needed to know. She sighed and placed her chin on the palm of her hand, looking vaguely annoyed. "Well it's a good way to spice up a dull night." She replied. "Though I'm beginning to regret it. So? What business do you have with me? I assume that you're also apart of this...Triad group?"

"Yes, I am. You may call me Ming. You can consider me your teacher. Ninety thousand is not easy money to pay back, so I will help teach you how to make that money back quickly as long as you follow the right protocols of our organization. Who knows. Maybe you will come to love this job and remain a member."

Ming reached into her suit pocket a folded piece of paper. Opening it, she handed it over to Lia across the table, along with a pen.

"This contract puts your bakery as collateral under our care. In case you end up not paying it back or being in circumstances where you're unable to pay back, we'll have something to fall back on."

The thrown dagger glided effortlessly through the air, to bury itself into the arm of the chair wielding thug. Even in the chaos of a fight, Naota's aim was flawless. He was a sphere of calm in the hectic fights. Even as he'd been getting choked the man wore a mask of indifference. He never showed fear, never showed panic. This was another day at work for the man. He made himself seem inhuman. A man beyond the fear of death or pain. And in that false persona, he would crush his opponents will to fight.

Watching as the woman that he'd come to save give an award winning knockout blow to finish off the Yakuza member that he'd injured, Naota paused for a moment to question his mission. The woman seemed more than capable of handling herself at all. Nor did she look in any way bruised, battered, or bleeding. Perhaps she wasn't under as much duress as Kitler had originally implied. Too late to worry about that now, nor was it his place to question the motives.

Spinning about to face the final Yakuza left in the room, the shinobi would eye them warily. Steel grey eyes flicking between them sharply as if picking the next target. Blood stained throwing knife was still being held menacingly in his hand, point out towards them should one try to rush him no matter how unlikely that would be. Their comments actually caught him off guard, leaving the man without a response.

Were they so concerned about who it was that slighted them? A gang mentality to think that there could not be just some wild element. It had to be some rival. Keeping his ready stance, the man would give a shake of his head and responding in their tongue. "I am The Scorpion. I work for none of those lowly scum. Leave as I requested, or else I will send you to rejoin your friends in Gaki-do" He'd noted Cale making towards the door and locked eyes with her. She wanted to leave...but they couldn't yet. Jay was still in the back room, and he wasn't about to rescue someone to leave another.

"Gargh!"

Blood spat from the man's mouth as Cale followed up with a punch into his jaw. His eyes rolled to the back of his head, not even able to experience the pain in his arm for more than ten seconds before he fell to the floor. The three remaining Yakuza didn't have the position to retort for such an insult from their assailant. They knew they were not capable of doing anything right now. They wanted revenge, but run to fight another day was their only option at this point, other than needlessly dying because of pride. They just up and ran at the door, leaving out of it soon after.

Kitler was still sitting in the hallway shaking. He couldn't believe how violent these people were. He didn't think the Triads would send someone so ruthlessly. In the end, all gangs were like this. He was foolish to think otherwise. He had simply chose to fight fire with fire. There was no use expecting a cleaner bout. These weren't the police. They didn't care for all the laws or morality of society. He stood up to his feet, trying to stop his knees from shaking. Walking in the room, he just could not believe how much death was caused so quickly. Even seeing Cale be so violent nearly caused him to have a heart attack, his hand clenching his chest.

***

Sero could hear the conflict happening in the other room. His men were fleeing, it seemed.

"Tch." It looked like in his current state, he didn't have the right circumstances to fight two people at once. He looked from the door back to Jay, seeing the woman with the look that she was ready to fight. He surely wanted to do so. No one stabbed him without a little blood in exchange.

However, he couldn't jump irrationally into this. Someone did this, and he was going to get to the bottom of it with a more cool head.

"You'll get yours yet," he said to Jay before running out of the room.

He glanced at Cale on his way to the door, a look that this wasn't the last they were going to see each other. Then he left the room, Kitler getting out of the way as fast as he could to keep from being bullrushed by the bigger man.

And so there it was. Nothing of this party left but fallen Yakuza and spilled alcohol. A one sided victory for Kitler, Naota and Jay. Not so much for Cale.

The woman almost laughed as Sero ran from the room, she had no doubt she would see him again, hell it was never hard to find Jay anyway. But next time he wouldn't have a chance to run. Exiting the room soon after to see her companion had made a right mess of the boys, raising an eyebrow at the bodies strewn about the room.

"Looks like you had fun...."

Chuckling at her own little joke as she smiled at both Naota and Cale, absently wiping the blood off her blades on the skirt of her dress. Turning them over before placing them back into the sides of each boot. The woman had to admit she was relieved that it was over, at least for now it was.
Glancing at Kitler she gave a sympathetic smile as she saw the look of shock on the poor man's face, he was obviously not used to such a scene. Then again a lot of people weren't. Something that she tended to forget at times.

"Hey...We should get the hell out of here...Don't want to get caught with blood on our hands."

That was the truth, if anyone walked in they would instantly look to the four of them and label them murderers.

While her companions seemed relieved, Cale was anything but. She looks around at all of the fallen Yakuza, the scent of spilled blood and alcohol hitting her in waves. Her amber eyes still blazing as she rounded on Kitler and leveled him with that glare. She didn't say anything, but her nostrils were flared in anger and her lips were pressed into a pale, thin angry line. It was quite the transformation from the happy, easy-going woman that he had first met at the tables. She was livid and despite the fact that she had been the only one to use non-lethal force, there was murder in her gaze as she shouldered past Kitler and out into the hall.

This entire bout was completely unnecessary.

She was definitely going to have it out with him and his - assassins? - later, but the woman with the knives had a good point when she mentioned not wanting to get caught. Even though her chuckle and demeanor got on Cale's nerves. Cale had worked very hard to reign in what used to be an incredibly volatile temper. These days she was very slow to snap, and difficult to annoy. But right at that moment, she was mad. She refrained from saying anything at first, simply stood there with her fists clenched, nails digging into her palms and trying to do that breathing thing her old leader Ezekiel had always been trying to tell her to do to control her temper.
