Outside of the clothing shop Ayato entered, a few moments go by. People walk past minding their own. When suddenly there is a loud noise coming from inside. People passing by at that time turn their heads in brief concern to see what the trouble is. Only to have their concerns answered by an almost naked Ayato shoved out of the shop in confusion. The shop owner yelling things at Ayato to the effect of
"How could you, in front of my wife and kids!" and some other odd things of public decency Ayato wasn't completely aware of. Clearly shown by the fact he was in the street only in underwear and didn't at all seem fazed by it.
In his confusion Ayato tilted his head at the shop owner like a puppy trying to figure out the mysteries of the universe that surround a ball making a squeaky noise.
"I am sorry I didn't realize, I thought this was a place where I could get new clothes, how else am I supposed to know what fits?" Ayato said trying to make amends of the situation.
The shop owner simply wasn't having any of it, and just turned his back on him and closed the door. The images flashed of the shop owner's wife looking mortified in the background, holding her hand over the eyes of their giggling child, before the door shut.
Ayato stood in the street only a second before putting his clothes back on. Taking his time to make sure nothing was backwards or inside out. Paying no mind to the stares and giggles that came his way.
"Well etiquette is not as relaxed as I assumed it would be." He thought to himself, before settling himself and taking a look around.
"Maybe I should ask around... or just try again, at a different place. Or just go back to the healer place."
Ayato sighed and looked up at the sky. Watching the colors of the setting sun flow by as he thought on what to do next.
