Probably.

That's sad...But I think that's exactly why as well.

The first season and possibly the second were kinda lackluster to me personally.
I know I didn't watch it too much myself, except for the last season, and even then it was more just to see the queens and that's it, but the show itself was kind of an afterthought.

I agree, I would watch an episode here and there to see which queen's were on that episode, other than that I don't remember much about the episodes.
Low ratings are probably the big reason (if there are more than one reason) it got canceled, if there aren't a lot of good ratings or low amount of viewers, it won't last long :/

*Gasp* I had no idea this thread existed!

I'm too lazy to go back to read through the discussion about Season 5, but I want to contribute my two cents. I initially was rooting for 2 people: Detox and Roxxxy. I just thought they were fierce queens. As the show progressed, I got irritated with "Rolaskatox" and even more disgusted with Roxxxy's taunting behavior. Once Alaska broke free form that trio, I started to root for her. I thought she was funny and a good competitor. Roxxxy, on the other hand should have known that the "mean girl" persona wasn't going to be a fan pleaser and already predicted Ru was going to choose Jinkx.

For Miss Congeniality, I was thinking Jinkx was going to win that too; totally forgetting about Ivy Winters. She was such a sweet and talented person that I was happy she won that award.

To answer the above question, if Drag U was to come back, they need to bring back Roxxxy and Detox to keep the show interesting. They have the brutal, competitive nature which is fitting for the show.

I love Latrice, but I'm tired of seeing that orange mug.
Shannel...I think she would try to win herself instead of focusing on her contestant (or whatever they called the ladies on the show).

Honestly, I think the show would have been a bit more entertaining if they did a few male episodes.
Transforming either gay or straight men into drag queens for the first time would be so awesome to see.
A lot of the more exciting parts of Drag Race were the ones where they had to transform a normal guy into a queen.

I'm not surprised it got canceled. Saddened? A lil, though I have yet to watch a season [or episode] in its entirety. It was just too much crying fer me, I guess. I don't do so well with the crying cause it usually makes me laugh, as shameful as that is. The idea of drag queens showing real women how to be feminine was funny and entertaining as a premise, though.

I agree with an above comment about switching it up a bit with transitioning gay/straight men into first time drag queens. Would've made fer more interesting tv.

Who I'd love to see as a lineup:
Manila,Willam, Raja, Sharon, Alaska, Pandora, Jinkx, Nina and Chad.
